Came across Gonz and Basil in early 2023 and almost immediately loved it. I really appreciate the biblical perspective on things and also the fun that they have discussing extremely important topics. Great sense of community as well; I actually became a financial producer to the show. Now on the flip side: the duo acknowledges politics as kayfabe. Politicians, the media, technocrats and the like are simply magicians casting their spells over society. They then proceed to talk about Trump, Biden, Chris Cillizza, etc. for hours and hours. Just my opinion but I think they could discuss more pertinent things. Other than that it’s pretty good.

I listen every other day. Their take on current events along with the interviews have really expanded my perception of what going on and I love the biblical take. They feel like old friends and I will be glad to meet them one day either here or in heaven. Keep up the great work... Tim P

I have been listening to show host’ Basil and Gonz since they had their interview style podcast “Canary Cry Radio” and throughout the years they have supplied myself, friends, and family members with necessary information regarding in depth biblical studies, prophecies(without pushing any viewpoint's) and shining a light on the weird and wild ways of the world. Now with Canary Cry Newstalk, they are my family’s weekly intake of world news and analysis as they bring truth forward with as little biased commentary as humanly possible. If you’re a believer looking for deeper insight on world topics or even a non-believe who wants to see things from other perspectives , this is your show.

I’m so happy that I found these guys, just wish I’d found them sooner! I caught the interview with Adam Curry and haven’t missed one since. Once I heard the Wednesday jingle, I knew I had found my people. Keep it up guys!

Sifting through the voluminous bits of endless media newscasts & commentary , I found this podcast to be a worthwhile & valuable asset to my interpretation of current events . Basil & Gonz, a quirky pair that have been podcasting for over ten years, bring a unique perspective to the news. I appreciate their humor as well as their commitment to searching for truth . I started listening during the pandemic when discerning facts from propaganda was a premium. I’m now listening or watching 3x weekly & this podcast has definitely been an upgrade in making me a more informed person.

Hey y’all, This show is awesome; news and events deconstructed from a Christian world view. The freakiest part is how right they’ve been about coming events, especially with their more wild and off the cuff“predictions.” Also they’re staunch adherence to the Value For Value system keeps them free from outside influence and has built a wild community of people. Not your typical “Christian podcast,” it’s way more!

There is a scene in the movie Days of Thunder that uses a hot wheels car in the way Basil describes remembering from Armageddon, which turned out to be an animal cracker. I’m guessing his mind has switched them around.

I watched the first Age of Deceit some years back and loved it, so stumbling across Canary Cry was very cool. Their interactions are funny, they have great content, most importantly they’re working to spread Jesus! Thanks dudes, keep it up.

I’ve completely shut myself off of all other sources of outside stimulus this show is all I need! If you’re still watching FOX (dad!!!) well just stop. Stahp it! These guys devote their lives to scrutinizing the current events of the day. Do I have time to do this for myself? Of course I do. These guys did all that data collecting for us. They don’t connect “dots” here, they do point the dots out tho. I’ve loved the content these two guys have been putting together for more than a decade. (Hey remember getting teased about getting news from podcasts) now that mainstream news and basically the whole political world is a lie. It’s nice to have eyes that see and ears that hear. Basil and Gonz are two brothers in Christ that I’m glad to see are still willing and able to stand up and fight. 🙏 amen and amen.

Watched Age of Deceit on a camping trip in the dark a couple of years ago. It was a little too much for me to take in at the time…then on the same trip I saw a UFO! later a friend and I bonded over so called conspiracy theory's and he introduced me to canary cry newstalk. If you’re new to their flavor content it may take sometime to understand what they believe about a variety of things…and it may cause you to dig into your Bible to find answers. It may make you think you’re crazy for a while as well…but if you stick with em, you will find yourself more rooted and grounded in the Word of God and much more prepared for the great deception coming to a world near you! Love these guys! Also, check out Canary Cry Radio and start with some of the earlier interview podcasts!

It’s like having close friends that like to argue over 3 times a week. The community that has grown from this podcast is incredible. Gonz & Basil have curated a beautiful space for friends and family to gather, share, support & pray for one another, and discuss current events from a biblical perspective. Whether I’m at work, folding laundry or cutting the grass I take any opportunity I can to tune in live or RSS... and you all should too! It’s a game changer to hear the mainstream news decoded and disseminated in a way that keeps you informed of the issues of the day from a conspiratorial lens without any fear mongering or calls to mobilize. No not here.. here in your search for truth, your beloved show hosts are gonna call you back to the most important truth, the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

Great show for some news deconstruction and analysis. I appreciate the Christian perspective as well, but I don’t think you need to be a believer to get something out of the show.

I’ve been listening to Canary Cry for years and I consider it the best source of news with a Christian lens. They have always seemed to be on top of trends and future events before anyone else is, they have their fingers on the pulse of the world governments and the global elites. To top it all off, the hosts structure the show so that they don’t sell your time to advertisers. I highly recommend this show!

Been listening to these guys for about 3 or 4 years now and I absolutely recommend them! The information is relevant but also very entertaining. The community around this show is awesome with all the listeners/ producers who contribute by sending in art, jingles, messages and story’s. It really makes you feel that you’re apart of something even if you don’t do those things. They take time to interact with the audience and it makes it a real fellowship even if it is mostly online.
