A Boardgame Podcast to Listen To
Excellent boardgame podcast that isn’t a typical boardgame review podcast. Discussion of boardgame related topics is the Tabletop Game Talk’s focus, not boardgame reviews. Chris, Kitty, and Fletcher (and occasionally Josh) have great chemistry and present a nice diversity of boardgaming perspectives and playing tastes from very casual and lighter games through to heavier games and more hardcore gaming. With over 200 podcast episodes published their commitment to the podcast and their listeners is impressive as they have released a podcast episode every week except for the ever so rare missed Tuesday and they are still producing podcasts discussing interesting topics and clearly having fun doing it. If you are looking for a family friendly boardgame podcast that isn’t another game review podcast, give Tabletop Game Talk a listen.

    The people and their games
Podcasts sink or swim based on the hosts’ personalities. TGT succeeds marvelously in this department. They range from the more casual to the obsessed and offer both wonderfully contrasting opinions and enjoyable banter. They’ve been on my “The Best” playlist for years.

    Excellent BG Podcast
If you are new to the hobby, many of the early episodes are dedicated to explaining mechanisms and types of games. If you’ve been in the hobby for a while, it’s interesting to hear different perspectives on gaming and how Chris, Kitty and Fletcher overcome the challenges of living with non-gamers. Looking forward to seeing what’s to come!

    Great podcast!
Table top game talk is one of the podcasts I put towards the front of the listening queue. They’re one of the most frequent in giveaways. There is little to none inappropriate talk or words in a given episode. If you’re worried that they will do a few episodes and then fade away they just did episode 214 last Tuesday. Overall a great podcast which should be around for awhile.

    Best Gaming Podcast!!!
I love you guys! Your personalities keep me so entertained and I love the feedback and suggestions I’ve gotten from this show. I’ve been listening only for about a month now but I’ve already binged probably 50 episodes. I’ve gone to the start and have been going through to modern. Keep up the great work guys. You’re my favorite podcast.

    Finally giving a review
I have been listening to this podcast for about a year now. I am new to the hobby and was looking around for a show that wasn't reviewing games but more about the hobby itself and all things realted. I found it in this show. I love the chemistry, you can tell that these folks are friends. I think it would be a blast to have then at my game table. Kitty, I am with you on the rulebooks, enough said. Please continue with the greatness that is this show. Thank you for all that you do for the hobby, it is appreciated.

    A must have subscription
Came across this podcast from Dice Tower news. Hands down the best podcast about board games and the hobby we all enjoy. The chemistry these three have is such a joy to listen to. Very family friendly and all around the best of the best.

    Great Topics, Great show
Really enjoy listening to the show. Recently found the podcast during the flashback episodes. Great intro into the group. I have since participated in a couple live shows. Really appreciate the topics of discussion and how each participant come at the hobby from a different perspective. Also really enjoy how the practicality of life changes the perspective. Keep up the great work. You have gained a new faithful listener.

    Great Show
I really like how they discuss topics in games instead of only explaining games, though I still like that as well. If you're interested in hearing some interesting game board related discussions and not just game reviews, give these guys a listen.

    Best board game talk podcast
Kitty is my favorite female perspective in table top gaming. She is always insightful and can disagree with tact. Chris is great at running the show and letting it off topic at times just enough to be fun. Fletcher makes good points, I just wish he would jump in more so we could get to know him a little better.

    One of the BEST!
A fantastic and approachable board game podcast. One of the first game podcast I started with. The hosts knowledge and passion really shine through. I love the variety of topics and each topic is presented in a way that is easy to understand. Chris also does a really good job supporting other podcast and individuals in the industry. One of the best podcast in the industry and a great place to start.

    Good find
Tried to find a good podcast to listen to about tabletop games. Found a lot that just talked about specific games and reviewed them, then found this one. Love the topics they cover here, glad I came across it.

    My favorite board game podcast
Updated every week. Incredibly insightful. Great audio quality. Plus, it is topical, which is unique for a podcast, and is much better than just game reviews. This is, hands down, my favorite gaming podcast and it should be yours too.

Hobby gaming discussion at its best
This is a must listen for anyone in the hobby. Chris, Kitty & Fletcher (formerly known as American Josh) always bring fresh and fun perspectives to various topics related to tabletop gaming.
  • Pikkusiili
Great friendly discussion on board games
Chris, Kitty and Fletcher do a great job of discussing games and game related topics in an interesting and banter filled way. The podcast is less about games themselves and more about gaming topics. Think of it as sitting down with three good friends, after playing a game and discussing whatever comes to your head.

Great way to find new games
I have loved this podcast as the gang does a great job introducing me to new games. Not only do they rave about their favorites but also consider the drawbacks of even their favorites. I also appreciate the diverse opinions from everyone in the group. Keep up the great work.

Worth my time and likely worth yours too!
I've been listening for a few months now. I had no clue that there would be so much to board gaming as a hobby, but there's a lot. It's a fun world, and these folks (three hosts - Chris, Josh and Kitty) manage to keep me fully engaged for at least an hour each week. I have laughed out loud several times, enjoyed the advice every time, and found that there are so many aspects to this hobby that I am now eager to explore. The publication of the podcast is shockingly on schedule. Every Tuesday is a new episode. They just started an added Kickstarter podcast each Friday, in which they go over games that are looking for funding on Kickstarter. The once a week pace was at first frenetic for me simply because I jumped in around episode 70. I tried hard to catch up and keep current, but finally gave up. You dont need to catch up. I have basically given up on that and still am able to keep up with the dialogue. It's not one of those podcasts that leaves you behind because you didn't start at episode 1. In summary, listen to this podcast. You might just find a new hobby you didn't know existed.

Fun, friendly, and interesting for all levels of gamers
This is a radio show about taking. Fun conversation about the hosts, as well as great perspectives on board games. I've listened to many already and plan to listen to them all. Way better than a normal radio show because it's about a topic I love: board games.
  • Pecktec
    A topical show
Great show that covers many relatable topics in board games. Very down to earth and easy to listen to. I love the set of show rituals they have especially the new kickstarter games and feedback segments.

It gets really good around episode 4. Kitty makes a great addition to the podcast, along with the new format.

    Awesome podcast!
Chris, Josh and Kitty are great. They are serious about their games but do it in a congenial, light hearted approach. You can't go wrong delving into the world of table top gaming via Tabletop Game Talk!!! Jd

    Excellent
This is a pretty engrossing and professionally done podcast even from the early episodes. Very entertaining and diverse group. I can only think of one criticism, and it’s really superficial- It bugs me when people pronounce “especially” as “ickspecially.” Seriously though, it’s a great show and I’m currently binging the old episodes while waiting for the new ones each week.
  • Chivenger
A fun and knowledgable conversation about games
Their passion for tabletop games shines through in their podcast. Not only have I listened to just about every episode, they made me go looking for other podcasts. It's a great way to keep up with games and they are just easy to listen to.
  • NdiegeG
    Love the show
The mix of experiences, diversity (woman & British voice) and equally strong personalities is refreshing. I especially love the fact that your hobby gaming experiences are not exactly the same. Keep up the good work! I’m on episode 10 and slowly listening to them all. Love it! 👍🏾👍🏾
  • StandSure_games
    Fun and interesting
I love listening to this podcast! Chris, Josh, & Kitty have a great chemistry and their collective passion for games shines through. I like the way their varying preferences balance the discussion and keep it from being the same ideas over and over. I started listening at episode 47 but am now going back to pick up the old ones. It's been a fun way to learn about the hobby and escape some of the more boring parts of my day. Keep it up!

    A Warm & Friendly Discussion
This is a terrific podcast about board games; ALL topics regarding board games, from specific games themselves to all manner of subjects relating to the hobby as a whole. I enjoy the fact that it is a discussion amongst good friends, who know each other well, while at the same time both entertaining the listeners and informing them. I started at episode 9, but quickly caught up on the backlog. The addition of Kitty in episode 4 was brilliant and, as informative as the first 3 episodes were regarding those specific games, turned what might have been a very dry podcast into a stellar one. The chemistry between 3 hosts is wonderful. Their friendship (and all of the quirks & irritations that come with that) come across warmly and invite you in to listen to their fantastic discussions. I actually stumbled across this podcast BEFORE I also began listening to the Dice Tower, and Tabletop Game Talk ranks up there with the best of the board gaming podcasts.

Really enjoy listening to this podcast. Kudos, for also having great sound production. I'm still fairly new to board games, and I enjoy listening to this podcast and learning about all the games out there. Also, hearing about Kickstarter games. They have great conversations and you can hear how much they enjoy gaming. Keep up the great work!

    Great Roundup
I've been listening to this podcast for most of this year. The hosts come up with some great topics and have real insight. I would recommend this for board game enthusiasts who would like opinions from a local small group of dedicated fans. Especailly good for Chicago area listeners.

    Great trio of reviewers
One of the easier board game podcasts to listen to. Great mix of news and reviews. Not bogged down with minutia about every game played.

I enjoy the podcast. Really in depth and make me want to spend more time with my games. Some episodes are quite long and I could use more of the British guy. Great accent.

    Great podcast!
Good Job guys really enjoy the podcast. I know you guys always talk about a game you've recently played on the podcast. Is there any chance of those playthroughs being uploaded to watch if people are interested in the game and want to see a little more?

    A Different Board Game Podcast
I started listening to TTGT very recently and am hooked. Once Kitty was introduced in Episode 4, the podcast changed in an amazing way. The three hosts work really well with each other and all have different tastes in games. I think this adds a lot to the conversation. Also, starting with Episode 4, the podcast talks about broader topics. Mechanics, Abstract Ideas and the Hobby Community as a whole. I recommend this podcast to anyone that is trying to get into the Board Game Hobby (like me)! Can't wait to see how the podcast evolves over time. Thanks for all your hard work! - Charlie

    Great Podcast
Love the podcast. Like Star Wars, I will pretend that the prequel trilogy (Episodes 001-003) don't exist. Once the podcast turned to a tabletop gaming topic discussion format, it became really good. It really helps me think about how I like to game.
