hot wheels 1962Welcome Back!Hello, Andrew! I just finished listening to your first podcast back after your hiatus. It really feels good to have you back on the air, and you are also to be commended for knowing when you needed to take a break, and paying attention to what your body and mind were telling you what needed to be done. I really hope you also continue to occasionally sprinkle in episodes that would fall under the category "What Would Happen if you Became Disabled Tomorrow?” I look forward to hearing more of your terrific work!

Sportsenthusiast35Hilarious, Extremely Useful and Very Much Appreciated!!As a fellow disabled person, this is what’s needed in our society, a society that doesn’t talk about these topics enough!! Andrew, please don’t stop what you’re doing!! It’s very much appreciated!! And you’re hilarious, man! Please keep being yourself—a hilarious, intelligent person!

Unsatisfied freecycle-erYup, this podcast if for YOUThis podcast has helped me to self reflect on my own ableism and has helped to expand my world view. It doesn’t matter what kind of body you have, this podcast should be in your library. Andrew is charming, kind and articulate- the kind of person I’d want to have a beer with. Wonderful listening experience.

Becca_GraceWe need this pod and work!I love this podcast! My professors who teach a course on ableism introduced me to it and it’s been an outlet for me to feel more connected to the disability community and encourages me to deepen a disability pride attitude about my own neurodivergence. Thanks Andrew and everyone who puts these episodes out!

Bob heartBurlesque performerDid you all listen to the one with the “burlesque performer”? First off this person has performed less than 10 times in her life. And it’s insulting to hear that she claims to have some of the best costumes in the business. She has 1 costume. But! To hear her blame others for why she isn’t performing more often makes no sense. Yes, you need lessons. Not because you have a disability but because you aren’t that great. Burlesque is not just rhinestones and corsets. Just insulting all around.

Nikki3054More podcasts like this please! An amazing podcast. Period. 🙌❤️🙌

EstochenShining a bright lightI love, love, love this podcast and Andrew Gurza. He really dives deep into so many areas of disability and sexuality, and is refreshingly honest. Funny, heartfelt, and thought-provoking.

BenKEgan-SlaterAwesome ListenSo I just started listening about a month ago. I’m working my way through the back catalogue. This show is awesome.
-
Chloeeeee48593Completely honest and unique, I can’t get enough...Andrew Gurza puts on a great podcast. He has a lovely, warm voice and a relaxed style. And completely honest, he holds nothing back. I learn something new every episode during Andrew Gurza’s interviews. His humor and easy, conversational style make the discussion of sexual content comfortable and fun. He is bawdy and racy, in a way that makes sexual education open and enjoyable.

Kylie-SkyOne of the best!!All of the work that Andrew does to normalize disability and sex is amazing and this podcast is no exception. Being disabled myself, it’s especially important to me to learn about others’ experiences. Disability After Dark is forever introducing me to new topics and breaking down biases that I don’t even know I hold. Would definitely recommend to a wide variety of people!

Nia12344544211Love it!This podcast is amazing and I do not think I can stress that enough ! You bring in so many different perspectives from the disabled community and are definately working to help eliminate the idea that disabled people are non sexual beings... for so long I myself struggled with these concepts as a disabled person. I love hearing the stories you share - good , bad , humrous and the different guest you bring on. Thank you for your work!
-
AarenBChain loves TroubleI first heard of your podcast back in October when you were on sex with Emily, love what you’re doing!
-
mslindzSomething for everyoneI recently discovered this podcast and it’s been a joy to listen to! Andrew covers all sorts of topics related to sex and disability with grace and humor. It brightens my day to listen to each episode. There’s always something to takeaway from each episode, even if you aren’t disabled. There are so many great interviews I’ve heard that anyone could enjoy, even if you can’t specifically relate to a certain disability. Open your mind and your heart - this isn’t a podcast to miss!

KronosOmegaTruly Helpful to Anyone with a DisabilityI have DMD and over the last few years I have been trying to branch out and explore my own sexuality. Being completely dependent on other people for everything, from feeding you to wiping your butt it's hard to even think of yourself as a sexual being let alone feel comfortable exploring that sexuality. This podcast made it okay for me to be a fully formed human being and not some pious monk forcing myself to sit in the corner for the rest of their life.
-
Crip ovenLove it! Must-listen toAndrew speaks about challenging ideas with lots of humor. It is what disability and queer community need!
-

aminlHilarious & honestNothing quite like Andra’s podcast out there. He cracks me up all the time and also makes me feel like someone else understands what I’m going through. Keep it up Andrew! 😉
-
SexWithEmilyInformative & EntertainingAndrew tackles several challenging subjects - sex and disabilities - with humor, vulnerability and intelligence. As a fellow sex podcaster, I know it’s not always easy to tackle such a taboo subject but Andrew weaves in his life as a queer, disabled man seamlessly into his professional knowledge This show is highly informative, entertaining and you’ll come away learning something every time.
-
VenaticCrueloneAmazing!Amazingly informative! Great insight into the world of disability and sex. I found a lot of similarities between the amazing host and myself when it came to the excitement and anticipation of sex. Glad that this is out there and can’t wait to listen to more. Stay awesome.
-
Mister PaddedReal talk and frank discussionAndrew is a great host who talks frankly about sex and disability and ableism. It is frank and honest but also positive. I learn with each episode and you will too. I love it!
-
Robin CovingtonOutstandingThis podcast is on my "auto-listen" list - informative, honest, funny and real. Thanks to Andrew and his guests for being so honest and open!

Sophia FinleyDefinitely one of my favorite podcasts!!Andrew’s insight into sex and disability have been incredibly helpful to myself as a sex educator! Disability After Dark makes learning fun and sexy.. what more could you ask for!
-
JtsoundtechThis is an excellent show!As a person with a disability, this show feels a major gap for me. So often in media, people with disabilities are either completely absent, or represented very poorly. Also, information about navigating dating and relationships is almost always completely omitted from education and rehabilitation training for people with disabilities. So many people are so afraid to go there, and you are on afraid! Keep up the great work educating us all!

A. MunSpinal Cord InjuryI just recently stumbled into the podcast world and have been searching for as many informative podcast in associating to disabilities specifically for wheelchair users. I am a person living with a spinal cord injury resulting from domestic violence in 2013. I would really enjoy hearing something on here from a fellow SCI person or persons! Thanks for bringing to light that people with disabilities can still be freaky too! 🤪

Sadia Jas.I NEEDED THIS PODCAST YEARS AGO!I’m only on episode three at the moment but I LOVE this podcast. As a person born with Cerebral Palsy it speaks on so many thoughts I’ve had and experiences I’ve been through.
-
AccessibleYoginiPerfect TimingAs able bodied adaptive yoga teacher, I’ve been immersed in the disability world for a while. Then I found love with a wheelchair user. This podcast will help open up discussion on sensitive subjects and bring us closer together.
-
HgammonFunny and educationalStarted listening after hearing and loving Andrew on Queery and this podcast is awesome! As a non-disabled queer person I definitely want to learn more about how to make the queer community less ableist (hello, gay bars with stairs...). Also, Andrew is just freaking hilarious and I love his voice. Great company for all the driving I do for work. 😊
-
CollectorofwhitetearsNecessary and NeededThis podcast is extremely informative and has helped me grow as a health professional. I’d definitely recommend listening to it.
-
SuckalesboneTruly groundbreaking and needed“Disability After Dark” covers a topic I’ve never heard discussed anywhere, and does so with wit, compassion, insight, fearlessness, honesty and a good helping of sexy personal detail. It’s queer, accessible, real and indelibly human. For anyone who has ever loved someone who was different than them, known a disabled person or feared the prospect of becoming one, or just longs to know more about bodies, sexuality and the human experience, this podcast will richly reward you. I hope it’s on the air for years to come.
-
jeffmasters1refreshingly honestAndrew is so great. Reveals new insights on every podcast.
-
SoAngiliciousHighly recommended! This has become one of my favorite podcasts! As an able-bodied person myself, Andrew always helps me to view things in ways I never considered before. His sense of humor, his honesty, and and his willingness to "go there" with sensitive topics makes this both a fun and educational podcast.
-
jenorbitAmazingI just recently found Andrew's podcast and he definitely has a new fan. Andrew is not afraid of discussing topics that able bodied folks tend to avoid, and he embraces the place in which disability, queerness, and sexuality intersect. He talks about these things openly, inclusively, and with a sense of humor. Thank you Andrew for helping me find a sense of belonging via your podcast
