I thoroughly enjoyed the David Einhorn and Chuck Akre episodes.

How disappointing to have a man literally spew anti Muslim retrioc within the first 13min. “There is nothing there but death” speaking about countries with history and generations how dehumanizing and utterly disgusting

Man was this disappointing. I love Founders podcast and listened to a recommended episode (333 with Justin Mares) and I couldn’t finish it. I completely agree with the overarching hypothesis but there are so many inaccuracies like a shocking description of SSRIs. I understand there are major systemic issues built into the US tax law which are further exacerbated by large food conglomerates, but using doctors’ notes for a tax loophole to buy bone broth is not helping anyone. It’s just another person gaming the system to make money. I don’t know if this was one off because of the guest, but there are too many other podcasts for me to give another episode a chance.

Just listened to David Einhorn podcast. For all the fee’s and taxes, he didn’t come close to beating Buffet.

Patrick filled a niche in the investing podcast world. He is able to talk broadly about investing with his guests through extremely knowledgeable framework of investing. He has had some fantastic guests on. There is much more to take away from this podcast that just investing themes. I am very excited to see who else Patrick is able to bring on and interview. I would vote for longer interviews, but understandable that the guests he brings on are time constrained.

Great podcast, always interesting guest and topics discussed even for folks like me who are not in the investment world.

It’s definitely worth your time if you are trying to stay informed.

I have enjoyed and valued Invest Like the Best for several years. Patrick has great guests and typically produces episodes with interesting conversations. Recently, however, he has begun hosting various players within the NFT space. No objection there, except that his interviews with these individuals are as entirely credulous as to what they’re pushing. The most recent episode with Eric Golden, owner of the scam known as Bored Ape Yacht Club, was a step too far. I’ve always liked Patrick’s work, but he’s steering too much content in this direction. Discussing crypto and NFTs is fine. Discussing them as though they’re an unmitigated triumph is not. Starts to feel like an infomercial for junk products.

Patrick - you said in episode 46 that a lot of what you’ve learned [in general, in life] you’ve learned here doing this podcast. The same goes for me, right from this podcast. Episode 46 is a great example because I’m so used to learning here that even though the summary description didn’t sound like a sure fire win, I knew the smart thing to do would be to listen. So I am. And I’m already learning more than I thought I would. Again! Thank you!

Great podcasts most of the time, with outstanding investment personalities and veterans. Disappointed at the recent disproportional amount of crypto-focused episodes.

Truly one of the best podcasts you can listen to. Patrick and the entire Colossus team do an incredible job leading conversations that push you past your preconceived decision making frameworks, values and reference points to arrive at a depth of understanding that separates the average investor from someone who can build a coherent thesis - and stand behind that thesis while integrating the constant stream of new information coming their way! Can’t recommend this show enough!

I listen to a wide variety of podcasts and this is one of the highest quality ones. I compare it to “how I built this” but with modern and up and coming companies which is a high compliment.

Great and informative podcast.

Not only is this podcast informative, it is likewise enjoyable and is never boring. Learning so many things while having fun? Yes please!

OK sometimes, but every gas solution is just more government and bigger government... The show taken to its final conclusion has the whole world working under the state for their own good.

Early interviews were insightful with thoughtful questions but this podcast has become a joke with layup questions to the guests in order to get Twitter quotes for likes and retweets.

First episode I listened to was with Chamath and it has opened my mind in so many ways. Love it!

Episodes are a packed primer on business concepts, tech trends and industries. I’m in my first 6 years of work so to hear from these experts is like free continuing ed (and so is his book club, I recommend). Patrick continues to pick diverse guests so no two episodes are the same.

Probably the best business podcast you can find. There are so many great ideas generated every week, and the way the interviews are conducted is outstanding. Always extremely well prepared and insightful.We actually applied some of the concepts I found on this podcast in our company. With pretty good results. Episode 8 about the restaurant business is extremely helpful thinking about the concepts of business innovation.

Love how the interviews are structured, and the people who were interviewed typically have really interesting stories to tell

As an MBA grad and aspiring founder of a new business, this podcast is incredibly insightful for investment of not only funds, but time, thoughts, and more. The guests have been very strong and Patrick does a great job getting to foundational points.

Patrick does a fabulous job of selecting guests, conceiving questions and directing the dialogue to ensure that the episode delivers value. They do. I am an investment banker and continually learn something new each episode. Even if I already was versed in the topic, the podcast brings more illumination.

I am 24 year investment professional and have found these podcasts to be incredibly insightful, educational and easy to digest. Very well done and always informative.

Always interesting and informative on broad range of topics. I try not to miss one.

Patrick and this podcast bring such a fascinating collection of people and ideas to investing & business. However, there’s so much more : these interviews become discussions about life and learning, ideas, mentors, analysis and creativity. Topics can include; very analytical approaches like old school valuation and quantitative analysis, algorithms, machine learning, to general business principles like capital allocation, moats, management etc to more philosophical discussions and topics as well- like learning, gaming, personal growth and exploration of opportunities. The key however is the host. Patrick’s breadth of knowledge, ability to connect and draw out his guests as well as his curiosity and humility all add to the quality of the interviews that make this podcast so great. I enjoy the variety of topics and love to share these podcasts with friends, family and business colleagues alike.

Upon keeping a record of what I have saved in podcasts, I found “Invest like the best” as the most collected one. This podcast include many insights and sometimes, intriguing thoughts. The coverage is wide as well as deep. Patrick has the talent of inviting the right guests and making interviews both informative and entertaining. You can tell he is passionate and focused. There are only a few podcasts still going strong in the quarantine time. This is one of it.

The insight that Patrick brings to bear is still mind blowing to me every. Single. Time. It’s like watching one of these street magicians work. I’ll find myself re-listening to snippets several times over and it’s just as impressive every time.
