    Why even have a guest?
So, you won’t let your guests talk. Why not just interview yourself?

    TK Salute
Only reason to listen to Chuck is his football picks with Tony.
  • Difab4
Chuck if you’re going to have people like Jonathan Martin, you have to let them talk. It’s becoming a deal breaker for me.

    You knew for 2 years?
I endure toddcast on occasion to hear interviews of interesting guests. To hear that you spoke with a cabinet secretary TWO years ago about the president’s poor condition that could have serious implications to our country and you Chuck Todd model of journalistic integrity and honesty didn’t share that with the rest us until now? Glad you’re not a doctor, or you would tell patients they have 6 months to live after already knowing for 6 months. Malpractice either way.
  • ApogeePerigee
Not enough content. Too much of the host
I don’t learn enough. The interviews are meandering.

    Great since the Hotline
Chuck Todd has been a great source of political information, mostly presented clearly separate from any opinions offered.

Getting back to his roots with interesting conversations with interesting insiders. Stan Greenberg is always rad. Brothers who wrote lobby book ep good too. Steve Brill awesome. Ballmer episode was still junk tho lol

    May 31 Trump found guilty
Only an infrequent listener due to your left favoritism and anti Trump (and conservative) bias This episode was a change of pace with a more measured discussion of the Trump vs Biden (Republican vs Dems)

    One of my favorite podcasts
I always look forward to Chuck’s Podcast! Insightful & entertaining I check in every week to stay updated with Chuck!

    RFK Jr
I guess they can’t ignore RFK Jr completely anymore so they write him off as a not serious candidate. Clearly they haven’t listened to any of his speeches. Ross Perot was allowed to participate in 3 televised debates! Both parties are so anti democratic, I’m done and never going back, vote independent!
  • kathrynR28
I really loved the Richard Engle interview but you constantly interrupted him. Literally asked a question and then interrupted him and answered with your own thoughts. I want to hear your guests!!!

    Chucks interruptions
Can someone explain to me why Chuck asked the question and immediately interrupts the speaker? It’s getting more and more annoying and I don’t know how much longer I’m going to listen to the podcast which is really too bad because he always has excellent guests.

    Excellent but…
I haven’t had broadcast TV for 40 years so didn’t know of Mr Todd til this podcast so I thought it was just my annoyance w his perpetual interruption of guests. After reading other reviews, I see I’m not alone. I guess this tendency is on account of the nature of his television show. If I’m being charitable, it is bc of his enthusiasm and getting caught up in the discussion. The discussion topics are thoughtful and timely. The guests he is able to obtain impressive. All in all v engrossing even when they get into the political weeds. Just subtracted one star for the interruption habit. Also appreciate the isolation of sport discussions to the end of episode since it totally doesn’t interest me.

    Cry Baby Liberal
Chuck Todd is one of the many liberals that need to be fired at NBC News. The cry baby liberals at NBC meltdown when anyone has an opposing viewpoint. They interrupt and attack a conservative that is brave enough to appear on any NBC program. I will not be listening or watching any NBC News program until they clean house and comeback closer to the middle.
  • Neplusultra123
    He’s a smart and knowledge guy, but…
Addendum to my original post below. Chuck calling out NBC for hiring Rona from the RNC was worth a 5 star rating. Nice job! Please stop interrupting your guests!!! I listened to several podcast before I realized that I wasn’t imaging the constant interruptions. Please let your guest finish their thoughts and sentences. Alternatively, just have yourself on as the guest.

    No longer a fair host
Used to enjoy listening as Chuck Todd was one of the seemingly few fair minded hosts in the mainstream media. As time has gone on he makes it more and more that he’s just as biased as everyone else. His latest episodes on Rural America and the State of the Union have made me give up on this podcast.
Smack talking President Biden does not make you relevant!
You are THE worst! Shut up Chuck Todd!

    Great Podcast!
I really miss Chuck on Sunday’s Meet the Press (although I do like Kristen Welker!), but this podcast certainly feels like I get the same glimpse into his and his guests’ insights.

Miss Chuck on Meet the Press
Nice to be able to hear Chuck Todd’s ideas and interviews with no commercials. Also like to hear him on WBGH Boston Public.

    In response to previous comments
Chuck might interrupt his guests, but Kristen is just as bad plus she tries to answer the question she asked for them. So, why ask in the first place?

Mire informal is better for Chuck
As a 10year Todd fan, I am appreciative that the new CT format allows for a more informal and less scripted conversational/developmental style of conversation. Chuck’s thoughts and opinions are often on the point of overzealous… but his wide-ranging ideas and mental “leads” are great in the podcast sharity/conversation with the guest. I also like his new “crowd-sourcing” offer for the listeners of his new show … I live in North Carolina where the State Supreme Court’s decision to allow party jerrymandering to be political, not legally jurisdictional… seems to me to be a political takeover of State Law… Thanks and best wishes for your ongoing success in this reporting on our fast-changing world! Priceless experience and information
Thank you for doing this podcast. We are all the beneficiaries of your decades of experience and your relationships with your wonderful guests.

    ToddCast broadcast: Simply the BEST!
After the shock of the host-ghosted from Meet the Press of Chuck Todd … I hear the future. I am Cherokee, a station owner in a backward state, a woman, and a disenfranchised person. On the plus side … I love the goofy stories and brilliance of Chuck Todd’s brain (eschew cryogenics). What DID happen to all the frozen brains of celebrities? In the fan-zone.

    My favorite podcast
I never miss this podcast and hope you’ll continue it long after you leave Meet the Press. I love the informality of the discussions. It’s like having a couple of ridiculously smart people talking about the latest news over a beer on the back porch. Please don’t change a thing.
  • Chrissy_Cat12
    Appreciation for Chuck Todd
I have respect and admiration for the authenticity that you get across. It does sadden me that you’re stepping back from Meet the Press; I hope you always stay vocal and doing the Toddcast. Maybe even a ramp up as we head into 2024? Cheers Chuck!
  • Doz519
    Please stop interrupting your guests!
I am a big, longtime fan of MEET THE PRESS as I’m 78 years old. Chuck is knowledgeable, no question about it. But Chuck, you MUST STOP INTERRUPTING YOUR ALSO KNOWLEDGE GUESTS!! You are rude when you do it… especially talking over your female guests! Please consider having a podcast when ONLY YOU speak. I would be very interested in that as you are smart and articulate. But let your guests FINISH THEIR SENTENCES… and their train of thought! I am interested in what they have to say, not just YOU! Thank you, Adrienne Donze Minnesota

    Great political analysis
Will miss you on Sundays. All the best.

    Insightful and Interesting…
I have learned more about what Chuck is “binging”, Washington sports teams, and SEC/ ACC rivalries than I ever thought I possible could. Thank god for the 30 second skip button, the show has gone down hill a little in the past year, but still has some good takes once in a while.
  • AnnaEmmet
This used to be one of my favorite podcasts and I eagerly tuned in every time there was a new episode. Now it’s unbearable. Chuck does not let his guests get a word in edgewise for all his interrupting. It’s beyond annoying! You invite interesting and insightful guests but don’t let them express their views. If Chuck wants to speak so much, host a podcast where all you do is speak. Don’t bother with guests. I’m so disappointed and frustrated. Gone is a valuable and interesting podcast that gave a more centered view of the world.

Interview with NC Representative Jeff Jackson
More of this kind of Representative please! Thoughtful, intelligent, fair and found something positive to say about someone across the aisle. Listeners benefit from this type of content. Wish my representative would spend some time with him.

    Please stop interrupting your guests!
Chuck Todd interrupts his guests. It is rude and Annoying.
  • ruve19
    Great conversations!
I came to this podcast from the Meet the Press podcast, but now I enjoy this one more! For a hypothetical, what would have happened if SCOTUS upheld the OSHA vaccine mandate? Or if McCarthy appointed republicans to the 1/6 committee? Or if Trump walked onto the floor of the House during the electoral count? Or if Barr withheld the Mueller report? Or if Harrison didn’t end reconstruction?
  • BenFromOgden
Please buy Chuck a Microphone. Otherwise good
Like the long form interviews and deep dives made possible by the podcast format. But… why do amateur podcasts have better audio quality and better microphones?
  • Pa$:63dhi
    Who’s the Expert ??
Chuck Todd constantly interrupts the Expert, to throw out his childish ideas and simplistic summarization of the topic. Chuck asks questions and then doesn’t allow the expert to answer. Chuck, the solution: SHUT UP! And try to be respectful, of the expert and the audience. Thanks!
  • music812
    Alt History Episodes are great
Love the Alt History Episodes. I think it would be neat if you did one on Obama not running in 08 and McCain Palin winning but losing in 2012 to Hillary…Would love to her a spin on that. Thanks
  • j.mosi
    5 ⭐️
Potential alt history topic: McCain choosing Lieberman as VP. It likely doesn’t change the outcome of the race but it does, potentially, remove Palin from the scene.

    Great insights into political races
and especially good at explaining data, but dear Chuck, can you work on your listening skills and stop showing your guests how smart you are! It’s not a competition. Mitch Daniel’s interview is a case in point. He has so much insight and relevant experience. Did we need to hear about your knowledge of Garfield? No.
  • darrell317
My alternative history would be what if we had completed Reconstruction in the 1800s? I’m not sure what the best hinge point is maybe Lincoln’s assassination or the election of 1876. How different would our country be today if we dealt with our racial problems then rather than waiting 100 years. Another one I have is what if Teddy Roosevelt had run for a 3rd term in 1908? Presumably he wins, Taft runs and wins in 1912 and a Republican President takes us into WW1 much sooner. If the US is involved from the outset does the war end sooner? If so is there a Russian Revolution, does the Ottoman Empire collapse, are the Germans crushed to the point that it later gives rise to Hitler?

Really Chuck? Reginald is laughing at you while counting his winnings!

    Trite & Superficial
Sounds like you two guys know of illegal activity at the state level that the FBI should know about. Shame on you. Your episode proves that we have the best government that money can buy. Chuck, stop wondering why we had an insurrection. You “inside guys” just validated the people’s disbelief in our political institutions….good job Chuck!
  • twellisz
    I love this show
I love the post game shows. It gives you all the extra info you wish there was time for on the broadcast.
  • LazyLight2000
A very biased left wing extreme host
Seems to be obsessed with former president Trump. He ruined Meet the Depressed as well unlike Tim Russet. It has become Another propaganda show for liberals and they hate the USA and everybody is a racist and the most important people on earth are the LGBT folks who make up about 1.6 percent of the population and everybody is identified as a race, religion, sexuality, etc. Never just people. Divide and conquer is there creed. Make everyone hate everybody
  • CBelden
    Stop talking and listen!
Does Chuck ever replay the podcast and flinch every time he interrupted his guest? It’s astounding! Let the guest provide a response. This one was particularly annoying. Where is the producer?
  • xxJBJRxx
    Please stop interrupting your guests
We’re interested in hearing what your guests have to say and it’s annoying when you step on them while they’re speaking. I understand you need to keep the interviews moving but please do a better job of letting them finish their thoughts and responses.

    Chuck balks.
