Why won’t Buck upload the podcast in a timely manner? I won’t say it but we all know why.

Best improvement since I moved to the podcasts after the online version went away. They tracked online listening duration and Officer Potter was the only listener ahead of me for years.

I’ve been listening to this show since before it was these 2, When it was Lund and Vance. Isaac and Suke are truly one of the more unique shows in the genre. Not everyone can pull it off. Hope it keeps going for many years!

I’ve been a casual listener for a very long time. However, their show during the pandemic was so great that I don’t miss an episode now.

I’ve been a P1 for nearly a decade. I love the show and the light hearted nature of it. It’s the least “macho” sports radio program that I’ve ever heard and I appreciate their approach to it. With that said, it seems like at least one of the main hosts is out every week. I used to listen daily but it’s difficult to stay committed to a show when the hosts are always gone. Maybe it’s time for Isaac and Suke to call it for good.

First off just want to say that I could listen to Isaac and Suke all day… they are great together, and additional input from whoever is producing is always great chatter. Sure, they talk a bit much about the Oregon Ducks, and that tends to get a bit old as a non-Duck fan, but otherwise it’s just pleasurable listening. But the problem is the podcast itself. It used to be four daily episodes, neatly broken down by hour. Now it’s four hour episodes, plus a bunch of short single-segment downloads tossed in, meaning you can’t just listen to all the new episodes each day in order because of all the ‘doubled up’ content… kind of annoying that it just can’t be downloaded and listened to anymore. And while that alone would be a nuisance worth hurdling, now the commercials are just thrown in mid-sentence…. it’s incredibly jarring listening to an interesting conversation and just having it abruptly break for commercials when there are clearly natural breaks for commercial built into the radio broadcast. So four stars for the content (probably 5 if you’re a huge Ducks fan), but two stars for how the podcast is presented in its current form.

Love the show, but I want to take the full show version out back and get it pregnant

The Full Episode podcast is awesome. Keep it coming like that! Also, So happy the DROPS ARE BACK. My favorite podcast...These guys are a fixture of evening entertainment. Ps. New engineering guy deserves a raise. Crazy Eyes McGinnley deserves a kick in the junk.

Great local sports show that isn’t too sportsy and doesn’t take itself super serious

This is as close as you can get get to a bunch of friends sitting down and talking sports, telling jokes, making fun of each other. Really good friends hanging out. The first segment, and the club are worth the listen alone. Throw in Mike, story time with Joey and John mailing it in it doesn’t get any better.

Where to begin? Let me take a big swinj at this review and the impact that this podcast has had on my life. Each day I am welcomed with a grammatically incorrect greeting from one I. Everett Ropp, followed by a joyous sailor-type greeting from Big Suke. From there, the adventure truly begins. After a daily opinion/update on the weather, the first segment in the first hour is similar to a conversation with the olds who forget what they are talking about and focusing on. They even have a bingo card for it (also like the olds). Once the sportsy talk begins to pick up, Ropp will be begging you for the poll! Isaac and Suke provide great sports analysis that’s fair and objective while also including hilariously-timed, and often inappropriate, drops to satisfy anyone’s humor needs. Need a break from all the sportsy sports talk? Have no fear, because in hour 2 you will find IN THE NEWS, or as Ropp would say at least twice a week, “IT’STIMEFORINTHENEBFLELFJSN” in a panic stumbling notion since he is usually behind on the clock. This segment will make you up to date on the current “national ______ day”, and informed on local and National news. Who needs cable news anyway, amirite? The third hour starts with the famous and patented Hot 5 at 5, which recaps all the hottest events in sports for the day. After the sports talk ends, that is when you will enter a wild ride known as “Club 1080”. This segment opens with a daily random hodgepodge of drops that basically should get producer Mike Lynch fired due to the inappropriate, subtle nature. But alas, he survives. The club has a strict (but not really) policy of no sports allowed. 63% of the time it usually consists of the guys spacing out watching sports on their giant studio TV. Leaving us listening to a crappy bastardized version of a play by play broadcast. The club will take you on all sorts of twists and turns with various stories, opinions, and life questions from around the globe. Whether you’re a sports bro, a GM bro, or just a normal bro, this podcast is for you. I now feel that my sports pants are even tighter when I’m done with each hour, and it gives me the confidence to approach ladies with my big sports brain and hopefully get some Tuds. I love this show like Ropp loves Big John’s body, and I would recommend it to any sports fan, or someone who loves humor and entertainment.

I love this show. The show chemistry is great between Isaac, Suke, and Mike. I love the inside jokes. I love listening to their opinions ( I don’t always agree with them) and the club hour is awesome!

Best sports show around... Love the podcast so I can skip the sports talk and enjoy the other shenanigans. Ropp+Suke+Mike forever! 🙌🏽

Love Primetime so much. The guys know their sports and really give good insight but also keep things light. Segments that aren’t about sports are just as good as those that are. The drops are second to none:) In a crazy world today it’s nice to be able to talk sports and have fun. The Podcast has been huge without a commute in the car as well, still get the daily fix. Keep up the great work guys!

I listen to the Fan from Coos Bay, love the show and enjoy the Kansas references, since I grew up in Kansas. Hey guys! I moved to Las Vegas from Portland within the last year. I was so happy to find you guys in podcast form. Love your banter, Mike and Big Bad John. I don’t usually write reviews cause who cares right. But being from Chicago I would rather listen to sports radio that will touch on most areas than just Chicago and Indiana sports.

P1 here, and if you aren’t subscribed you are missing out. The COVID-casts have gotten me through the last three months. If you aren’t a regular listener, these guys are chill and can talk about anything and make you come back for more. Oh yeah, sports, they occasional hit on sports. So glad you guys are loading the show onto Apple Podcasts now. I listen almost everyday, but sometimes I can’t, so I appreciate being able to still hear it. Listening to the show via the recording on the 1080 website would constantly freeze and restart. Also, GO COUGS!

I work downtown Portland and currently live in Keizer, yeah that’s a miss for sure but it does allow me a solid hour plus commute each way to keep up on the show. Thinking about moving to Eugene to get more commuting time to listen. Can’t get enough. Keep up the great work and please don’t ever leave!!!

Used to Listen to the national talking heads, since switching to primetime I now know less about sports but I’m better for it.

My favorite people in the sports world. They tell it like it is without trying to make the hometown team or their favorite team seem better than they are. The drops are hilarious. I love these guys.

Categorizing this podcast as ‘professional’ probably goes too far... There are about a million drops that tell a very different story. Best sports/entertainment show out there.
