David-Mark1230Wonderful Nature PodcastJust wanted to say how much I have enjoyed this podcast. I started listening a while ago to Bob and Bill and I was drawn to their fun and playful banter and the manner in which they presented the natural world. Rather than solely focusing on facts, they talked about nature in a personal and story-filled way that makes the listener connect on a deeper level. Their lighthearted discussions about related myths, historical practices, or personal stories touched on one’s connection with nature in a meaningful way and worked to inspire curiosity and a desire to create one’s own experiences in nature. I was quite saddened with the loss of Bill who had a great enthusiasm and passion for the natural world. Although his jovial banter with Bob is greatly missed, I am glad that the podcast continues. The new guest co-hosts are very knowledgeable and continue to make the subject matter entertaining. Thanks for making such a great nature podcast and for all the work that goes into it.

heidikatgoatRanger KathyI didn’t hit send when I wrote this after your last show .... sending now welcome back - great show - will check out the links .... ❤️ ————————————————————- I am so sad and sorry for you and his family... I can not tell you how important these shows were / are to me , when I discovered your podcast while home during the pandemic. It literally was my only light. You both fed off each other with the back and forth laughs, facts and stories... I counted the days before each new episode. Listening with my coffee on Tuesday mornings wondering what would be the topic knowing I would hear your voices filled with love for each other and the Natural world - was so contagious. The show inspired me to not just go outside and stay awhile but to paint / write poems about nature - I never appreciated nature as much until you both taught me to really look and listen (Bob, I have a hard time with bird calls too, might take an online Cornell class) I will never forget how you both ‘saved’ me - I am not inclined to feel depressed but I felt lonely at times until you both came into my house here in NYC... during COvid confinement . I can never thank you enough and I really wished I wrote this before his passing like I always planned to do. Paying homage to him with the continuance of this show is the medicine WE all need - I am planning to use some of your episodes for educational programs. With condolences and love - your eternal FAN- Kathy❤️

Anonymous020613Needing Out on NatureI’ve been exploring nature podcasts as we recently started our own, “Naturally Florida” and this podcast has been wonderful to listen to! I love the genuine nature and curiosity of Bob. He does an amazing job with his guests who are always super informative and relatable. We can never know everything about nature so I have enjoyed learning on my commutes thanks to Nature Guys. Keep it going!

He has such a great way of engaging young naturalist and communicating his experience as an emerging scientist. Also a great story teller, get him to tell some of his amazing stories.

bgdrhhvcBeth and guysYour podcast is having a huge effect on our three generation family group hunkered down on the shores of Lake Superior. We have an amazing amount of birds visiting feeders after following your suggestions. Your activities for kids help us “step outside and stay awhile”. Thanks we appreciate all your nature sharing.
-
JFrankGeorgeA real treat!Listening to Bob and Bill talking about their passions in/for nature has been a wonderful treat for me! I moved abroad from the US Midwest a few years ago and found this show during a moment of homesickness. The first episode I listened to was about the Robin; I chose it because we have different red-breasted buddies here and I missed my old friends. The episode was a balm for me! And I’ve loved the conversations ever since. Thank you Bill and Bob for sharing your knowledge and love of the natural world with us in this way- please keep doing what you’re doing!
-

Sean and AllisonNature TimeIf you've ever wondered what chickadees are about, where squirrels go in the winter, or who has been pollinating your flower garden, Bill and Bob are your people. This podcast feels like sipping lemonade while watching the birdfeeder on a nice spring day.

EC035711My new favorite podcastI just recently found Nature Guys and have been binging all their episodes! I love the balance of fun and learning they have in their episodes. They are both super knowledgeable and I’ve been learning a lot! Plus as a Midwest listener, their topics are perfect to help me learn more about my surroundings!
-
Emkty182Fantastic!I LOVE this podcast! These two are funny, witty and very knowledgeable! They share just enough information to teach you about the subject, but not too much to where you’re overwhelmed and forgot the fun facts, or even better, the new term or word of the episode! I started listening a few months ago and enjoyed the episodes so much that I started from the beginning and am listening to them all! I definitely recommend giving them a listen if you’re even remotely interested in nature!
