    Saunas
I enjoyed todays episode with Jon Levitt. (I listen to his podcast too). The sauna talk was perfect timing. I just joined a new gym that has a steam room and sauna, and thatā€™s why I joined it. Overall I love the podcast for its content. Jason does a great job! Julia

The Only Running Podcast I Listen To
I've been a runner for the last 20 years, only taking it very seriously in the last couple however. When I got really into training, I thought 'oh man there's probably a ton of really great podcasts' but none of them are really memorable. This one is consistently solid. The host isn't annoying and always has great topics. Definitely worth being a staple in your rotation.

So much good info in here
Iā€™ve been listening on and off for years but recently have really leaned into this podcast more. Jason does a gray job of providing accurate information in an enthusiastic manner. Definitely makes you stand a little taller and run a little quicker while you listen on your run. Thanks for all the great content, Jason.

    Awesome show
Iā€™m a middle of pack working mom if five. Iā€™ve just returned to running after my fourth child at 45. Rediscovering this podcast has been wonderful. Full of practical and informative episodes that can be scaled from the elite runner to me, the weekend warrior working mom. Thank you for your show!

The Ultimate Resource For New Runners!
There's so much information online that it can feel super overwhelming to know where to turn for quality information. The Strength Running podcast and website have helped the process of getting back into running feel less overwhelming. I can't afford a running coach right now, but this podcast has given me so many great nuggets that I feel confident creating my own running plan.

    Excellent for any Runner
This podcast has been vital to my running growth. Jason is exceptionally knowledgeable and he gives very well researched and proven training advice. I like how he does not sugar coat nor give information to just ā€œpleaseā€ people but he tells his audience the best way forward in their running. This podcast has helped me tremendously and has everyday applications that are essential not just during the time you run but lifestyle applications that have great results.

Great, relevant content for all kinds of runners!
Jason is such an approachable, well-prepared and open-minded host. I really appreciate the work he puts in to get a wide variety of relevant guests. Itā€™s one of the few running podcasts where I find myself rarely wanting to skip an episode. Jason lays out the info in an accessible way but doesnā€™t shy away from more advanced concepts. Itā€™s a great balance!

    Best Running Podcast!
Highly recommend! This podcast is informational while entertaining! I got back into running this past Springā€¦the last ā€œseriousā€ time being middle school track and cross country, with the occasional post-holiday season run the last several years. Jason is engaging and instructive. Iā€™m working towards my first half marathon in a few months, and itā€™s helpful to learn and hear insight from those with more experience. The ā€œbehind the scenesā€ into coaching calls is also super helpful, and the questions that are asked are ones I too am curious about. Jason goes in detail, in an understandable and easily digestible way. This is one of the best running podcasts Iā€™ve come across! Iā€™ve implemented some of what Iā€™ve learned and have definitely scene improvements in my running abilities!

This guy rocks. Iā€™ve listened to all kinds of podcasts looking for the ā€œfaster & more experienced runner stuffā€ and Iā€™ve finally found it. This podcast covers all aspects of running, and has great guests. If you donā€™t like the first podcast, just scroll down till you find your fit, Jason covers it all.

    Short Shorts 4 the Win
Iā€™m in my early 40ā€™s and Iā€™ve been running/training for 13 months. Iā€™m very close to my goal (for now) of running a sub 20 5K. While I can take all the credit for staying extremely consistent, I must tip my hat to Jason, this podcast, and Strength Running YouTube channel. This pod has been a source of inspiration for me, and has served as a breaking system that has certainly kept me from over training and injury like a overzealous noob. Thereā€™s a glut of personalities out there giving advice on how to run longer, faster. Jason, though, if youā€™ll listen, will stand apart because he presents his philosophy in a way that is wholistic and long term. You can tell he gives a hoot. Not every episode is my jam, but I always take something from each and every one because of how he expresses his passion for running, and having the best conversation possible. Just listen.

Two of my favorite podcast hosts and running coaches on the same podcast ~ truly a strength-running-explained extraordinaire! One stop shop
I have been listening to the podcast for the past year. After taking 10 years off from training and racing, Jasonā€™s podcast has been a one stop shop to find current best practices for training, racing, nutrition and strength training. I also recently followed Jasonā€™s Advanced Marathon training plan and went from 3:33 to 3:15 in just one training cycle! Thanks Jason!

This podcast has been so helpful as I trained for my first few half marathons! Iā€™m currently training for my first marathon, and thanks to Jason and the guests on his show, itā€™s going wonderfully. I always feel encouraged, empowered, and better prepared to face my next week of training after listening to the Strength Running Podcast. Game changer
Iā€™ve been listening to the Strength Training Podcasts for a few months now and it has a been a real game changer. Due to an injury, I had to run more in the treadmill which I hated, so I started listening to podcasts to make those miles less boring but theyā€™ve done so much more. Not only they make those miles fly but Iā€™ve learned so much. They cover great topics that Iā€™ve found super helpful related to injuries, setbacks, mental training and all those things that make running ā€œharderā€. Iā€™ve heard stories that I feel identified with, and tips Iā€™ve been applying in ny everyday running. Itā€™s honestly great!!

This podcast can make you a better runner! And is a great listen, too :)
There are a lot of running podcasts out there, but Strength Running really focuses on topics that have given me actual tools to improve my running. Whenever I reach a point in my training where I don't know how to move forward, I will look in this podcastā€™s archives and there is almost always a podcast that addresses the exact topic I need. And Jason is so great that the one time I couldn't find an answer, I emailed him and he did a podcast episode on that question! Just so amazing. The podcast is also so entertaining episode after episode. Jason is a great host, he gets interesting expert guests, asks the perfect questions, and then gets out of their way. Whether youā€™re a novice of a salty vet, this podcast can sincerely help you to become a better runner and is also a great listen. Thanks for all the hard work you put into this, Jason!

    Appointment listening!
I first started listening to Jason last fall. I was looking for a podcast that would be entertaining and informative. The Strength Running Podcast is both. Between the useful information and the plethora of guests, this is a go-to podcast for me and has helped improve my training and interest in the sport. Thanks, Jason!

    Best running podcast
I enjoy every one of these episodes. Topics are very relevant and the guests are highly experienced. Jason does a great job asking all the right questions! I keep learning and i have adopted a lot new techniques that are proving to be very helpful. And if there is a topic that needs further elaboration, a short email to Jason and a massive network of resources becomes available to tackle that topic!

I love all the great info
This podcast has a very knowledgeable host, quality guests. I have learned a lot of great info to be a better runner. Gives me motivation to balance strength training and running.

    Gold mine of great info!
Iā€™ve been running for more than 20 years (~40 miles a week) and this podcast is a treasure trove of information about cadence, strength, power, nutrition, and is hosted by a phenomenally intelligent and passionate coach. I love the variety of experts he interviews, but my favorite episodes are calls with ordinary athletes he has been coaching, who talk about their very relatable problems. I admit I hate lifting weights and prefer yoga and bodywork to help me run, but after listening I am more inclined to shake up my routine and try to be a less terrible runner.
  • julB6
Gold mine for runners old and new!
As a lifelong runner and DPT, I love Jasonā€™s podcast. So informative for both injury prevention and running performance. I love that he shares the knowledge he has, but also brings in professionals where he has a gap in knowledge. I especially enjoyed the most recent episode about running around work schedule, as I work some long hours myself (especially in this dark dark winter). Thanks Jason!
  • oak1277
    Love it
Sound advice that applies to anyone who wants to improve their running, no matter where they are at in their running journey.
  • Clan Dad
    Great-ish
Jason is very good at repeating what his guests just said, but changing the words enough to make it sound like it was his idea. The information is generally sound, though, so hearing it twice isnā€™t the worst thing that could happen. I suggest listening to the opening three minutes of the podcast once to hear the pitch for Jasonā€™s coaching business, which is probably good if you have the money, but moving forward you can skip it.

    Outstanding Podcast for Runners
As a lifelong runner and PT who works with runners, I find this podcast to be a gold mine of running wisdom. The content and guests are excellent, and Jason does a great job interviewing. This is one of my favorite listens during a run as the conversations are uplifting and motivating. Anndddd to addā€¦ the strength running.com content is good stuff, too. I find myself frequently recommending the podcast and website content to my clients. Keep doing the good work!
