BigPapaPump1Incredible insightAmazing highlights on players on the peripheral of deep league dynasty selections. A lot of the players Chris and Upper Beck talk about are way outside my radar. Thanks for your hard work!
-
Instantly has become the bestGreat pod, needs to tighten upWelsh spends the first 15-20 min of every pod just blabbing. Fast forward past that and you’ll get to some decent content.
-
Sneaky_RabitPhenomenal KnowledgeHuge fan of the show. Found you this spring when everything was happening because I was curious if any young dudes would break camp. I’ve learned so much about specific prospects and the process of minor leaguers from listening to this show. Because of Chris I can’t wait to watch Shane Baz pitch in the ALDS and now I’ve known about him for an entire season. Thanks Chris and keep up the amazing work!

dugm100Good, but....For the most part, I actually enjoy this podcast. However, there’s two common nuisances that makes this podcast hard to listen to sometimes: Welsh’s borderline obsession to talk about himself and his interruption of guests. Now I get that it’s his podcast, but man if I had a nickel for every time I heard “I” or “my” or phrases like “I’m alone in this (insert opinion)”. Any given podcast would give off the vide that Welsh either discovered every superstar first or saw something that no one else saw coming. It’s even contradictory sometimes! Even within the same podcast! To the second note, I need to give him credit on having great guests on. The episodes with guests are my favorites. Unfortunately, the amount of time guests get to speak about their thoughts pails in comparison to how much Welsh talks. Again, it’s his show, but man I wish I could hear more guests thoughts.

Chimphaven80 grade prospect prospect, Need time stampsTitle says it all. Awesome source for prospect information. Good range of guests and Welsh always knows his stuff. Please add time stamps to episode description. Would be nice to know when intro ends and interviews start
-
RussellHWFive starsLove listening to Chris talk prospects. Also, I find myself saying that “Hey, I like you!...” drop to my kids a lot, which can’t be annoying at all!

TheOtherScott2012Must-listen for dynasty leaguesBeen listening loyally for several years and finally getting around to writing a review of this stellar podcast. While there are several excellent prospect-centered podcasts out there, if I could only listen to one it would be this one. The Welsh is an engaging, likable expert who has actually seen many of these guys on the field. Also, he regularly brings on the best of the rest, which is what sets this podcast apart.
-
CheeseSRQVery informativeThe Welsh knows his stuff. He also tends to be entertaining at the same time unlike some other podcast shows that are very blah. You can tweet to him and he replies on Twitter or will read your prospect question on the show. I highly recommend his show and becoming a member.

aaron1402Great to garbageQuit talking about the covidiot virus like it’s a death sentence. Imagine how the cases are starting to “spike” again the closer we get to Election Day. Great podcast that has turned to garbage.
-
Brian12345678superEnjoy but could be more comprehensiveI do like Chris Welsh and feel he’s at his best when he’s covering a wide variety of talent instead of focusing on one or two prospects. The only other issue I have found off putting is he gets a little political with his off hand comments. If you want a great prospect analyst and enjoy some underlying analytics then Welsh is your guy. I recommend his podcast to any new dynasty fantasy baseball player.
-
GuthrieOnlineThe bestThis prospect podcast is the best I’ve heard yet. Gives great insight, interviews and all around fun
-
Greg KereszturyExcellent podGreat for dynasty/deep keeper players, or folks who are into prospects. Welsh is entertaining, and gives a fresh approach to Prospect podcasting so it’s not just another guy going through ranks. 5 star recommendation!

BEJ78Chris Welsh is a difficult listen.Welsh is arrogant and rants on and on about himself and how he visits players with little substance. He typically spends the first 10-15 minutes of the podcast ranting and providing absolutely anything of use. He actually plays video and audio on the podcast that you obviously can’t see and provides play by play of what is happening. Complete waste of time. He tries describing what is happening with swings and how fast players are rounding the bases and we should all listen to the sound of the bat. Hilarious and not worth anyone’s time. He said a breakout for 2020 is Lenny Torres who had TJ in 2019. He said he had it incorrectly in 2018, but I give him credit knowing he was already throwing again which is not typical, but pitching enough to breakout this year at his age is a bit of a stretch. I called him out on his mistake on Twitter and Patreon, and he childishly banned me from both. His arrogance is what I find the most difficult characterization to stomach. He acts like everything revolves around his advice and that any mention of a player means it influenced all fantasy picks across the globe. Pretty ridiculous and most of the podcasts are huge wastes of time with little substance.
-
BooboomorganPod I look forward to mostI listen to several pods each week. This is by far the best one there. Welsh is so good at this. Hoping he gets more CBS time this season.
-
brien_Love the podcastJust listened to the episode with ben badler and the 2019 international signings. Must listen to for anyone trying to get a league up in a deep dynasty league.

fire251Amazing Prospect Knowledge and ContentWelsh is simply one of the best in the prospect business. He gets eyes on arguably more prospects each year than anyone else in the industry and has tons of great guests. My favorite prospect pod to listen to each week.
-
dbone651Awesome!Very helpful in my draft prep.
-
NickR811Top Tier Prospect coverageYou can tell Welsh has a passion for prospect coverage. He does his homework and I appreciate that he's transparent about which players he has seen live in Arizona versus others he hasn't seen yet. He also brings on great guests from the industry so you get different opinions on players, which helps when forming my own take on guys.
-
Fantasy sport userGreat in depth reviews on MiLB prospectsBetween his own work and bringing in top industry talent to interview, The Welsh’s work gives his audience an entertaining and informative hour that is can’t miss if baseball is your passion.
-
Doug OttoGood infoInformative podcast but I could do without the dramatic background music floating in and out. Or at least turn it down a little
-
PompysmashNiceIs it Welsh? Yes! But it is also the most entertaining fbb prospect podcast that I know. Listen to all of the ITL stuff! The Bog Man nice college and IDP podcasts too.
-
chaucer1221A must listenThis is THE best prospect podcast for dynasty baseball. The Welsh is dedicated to providing in depth prospect analysis and has the best guests in the industry. This guy knows his stuff and is available to answer any questions you may have. I’ve actually recommended this podcast to others in my 20 year old dynasty league because I know they’d appreciate his work. This is a must listen for anyone playing fantasy baseball, especially dynasty leagues.
-
Mike SchuttlerBest prospect podcastThis podcast is a must for any fantasy baseball player. The Welsh has saved my dynasty teams with his prospect rankings and knowledge. I’ve been able to get in on so many players before my competition. Best prospect pod out there.
-
Major ClueGreat FindI discovered this pod after initially looking for a new fantasy basketball podcast (they do everything). This is a fabulous podcast that is full of info on prospects all over the place. Plus the host lives in AZ which is convenient for spring training and also the AZL.
-
Golden709Great Prospect InfoWelsh does an Awesome job breaking down and keeping you up to date on the best prospects out there. Great source of information if you play fantasy baseball or if you just love keeping up with the best young players on the verge of breaking into the Majors.

-
mbart26Get ahead of the dynasty curveChris is a great podcaster who does more than just regujitate analytics and discusses prospect tools, expected outcomes, floors, and celings. I have really enjoyed the past series of a look into the future, top 10 lists, and episodes that host other dynasty guys like James Anderson. If you love dynasty baseball this pod will give you an leg up on the competition.
-
Ballan9999Dropping Knowledge BombsThis is the best fantasy baseball prospect podcast!
-
@the RW29Great Prospect PodcastIf James Anderson is in, I'm in! Great work Welsh!
-
SmmattsonA must listen too in DynastyI’m in a 15 Team Dynasty with each team having 20 Prospects. Prospect One has been invaluable in getting to know a deeper prospect base, and having more knowledge than simply ranks. Feeling much more competent after regularly listening too.
-
Harrid4Great and UniqueProspect One by The Welsh (ITL Fame) is a fantastic podcast. If you are into fantasy baseball, not just dynasty leagues, you need to listen to this podcast. It delves deep into the prospects, but really focuses on the fantasy potential. It is very entertaining. He brings on some great guests from around the industry to provide other perspectives. I can’t wait to listen to each episode the day it comes out.
-
dake20Top notch dynasty baseball resourceWelsh delivers in depth and fantastic analysis of MiLB prospects. Terrific audio quality and he's done the actual scouting of these players in person. Beyond his own analysis, he brings in industry participants to get their assessments of the prospects. If you've got time for one Dynasty baseball podcast - this is it.
-
AK ( sad Bebo - elmos cousin )Love Prospect1Love hearing and studying about prospects!!! Love the insight from The Welsh being at some of the games!!! Great work!!!

Simon_McPhersonDedicated prospect podBaseball podcasts often treat prospects as a throw away subject, suitable only for last round fliers. ‘Prospect One’, however, gives the prospect prime time billing. Prospects are the shows #one, #two and #three priority. Anyone in a dynasty league, or a redraft league, or anyone who wants to know about their teams prospects and doesn’t care about fantasy will benefit and enjoy this show. “Prospect growth isn’t linear” and “don’t make up your mind based on the stat line alone” is a truism of minor league development and is one of the major takeaways I’ve had from this show. The Welsh does a great job of covering a players raw stats but his main focus is on first hand accounts. He has seen every player in the Arizona Fall League this year and posts great clips on his twitter account @isitthewelsh (yes, it is The Welsh). In the Prospect game it’s important to get a sense of how a player looks out on the field and The Welsh has great access and great insights. I highly recommend you subscribe to this podcast and check out the ‘In This League’ range of podcasts (Baseball, football, basketball, hockey) as well as join the ITL Army, a community of Fantasy Sports fans, where a contribution of as little as $1 a month can secure you access to secret shows, rankings, listener leagues. As independent podcasters The Welsh and Bogman deliver amazing content with humor and style. They deserve your support.
-
jumpoff joe buddenGreat prospect podcastWay better than the mlb pipeline podcast because they don't waste their time with interviews and it's about an hour long with great information about MLB prospects not high schoolers like MLB pipeline. This is the only prospect podcast that you should be listening to
-
colts00gtMust listenIf you play in a dynasty league of any depth this pod is an absolute must listen. The Welsh is highly entertaining and brings on amazing guests, in this day and age where everyone and their uncle is recording podcasts this one easily makes my short list of must listen!
-
Mr.GebzGreat ListenVery informative. So much info to wrap your head around if you love baseball
-
DfreeeeezyGreat Podcast for ProspectsGreat information on minor league players. The Welsh is very dedicated to providing the best analysis on each prospect and is so much fun to listen to!
-
jbrandalusThe Welsh Goes ProspectingThis podcast is a spin-off from the In This League fantasy baseball podcast. The Welsh hosts the show and sometimes has a guest, such as Eric Longenhagen of FanGraphs. I enjoyed the recent division-by-division consideration of the game’s future players. The sound quality is good, as I would expect.
-
JsevFantasy prospect goodnessThere is good information on prospects on the internet, but relatively little by way of podcasts. And of the podcasts, one offering a fantasy slant are even rarer. There is a condescending sense in some podcasts (and prospect coverage) that listeners should only pay attention to prospects from a general baseball perspective. Let's face it, a lot of us are in it for fantasy baseball. Chris Welsh is an excellent baseball podcaster who collects prospect industry leaders for discussion with a fantasy bent. The production values are excellent and the mood is not self-serious. Learn about the guys you'll want on your fantasy team next year and in years to come, one way to still get an advantage in your leagues. Part of a substantial (but indie) network of fantasy podcasts that cover several sports and are frankly the most enjoyable in the industry. If that sounds appealing to you, listen in.
-
BalabanMBGreat podThe Welsh from In This League delivers, once again, a great podcast show about prospects. This show is like Russian kisses. You will love the way it touches your ears through your headphones, and create certain neurotransmitters in your brain that will make you wanna listen to it all the time. Russian kisses as science proved, are amazing. And this prospect podcast is also.... AMAZING!
-
RussianLadyKissesGREATEST PROSPECT PODCAST AROUND!!Stop searching, you've found it. The perfect podcast with the blend of hearing about the prospects you NEED to know about with a fantasy slant. Give it one try and you will never go back!!
-
Steve Connell99An industry leader alreadyFor a new entry into the prospect podcast world ... in only 4 episodes The Welsh has risen to the very top in my opinion. His passion and knowledge are quite evident and the impressive guest list feels it immediately. He has an extremely rare gift of making these prospect experts/scouts feel at ease (his ITL - InTheLeague partner has a similar gift). The entire industry will be listening soon.
-
ZeushockeyAwesome new podcastLoved the content, humor and guests. Unique view with the fantasy spin. Welsh clearly loves prospects and the energy and passion shows. I'm hooked.
-
Ports1369Prospect knowledge unlike any otherThe guys at In This League will give you prospect knowledge that you can't get anywhere else. And the entertainment in everyone one of their podcast will get you coming back for more.
