    Not prepared.
Too often I hear them say, I don’t have the maroney with me. Or they don’t remember the facts, like whether it’s a plug-in, hybrid or not.

    Great job y’all
extremely informative, detailed, thorough but also contains lots of practical advice and criticisms.

    Good Contents, but ... ...
Sam should do the podcast on his own. Roberto and Nicole are wanna-be comedians who think they are doing a Comedy Central podcast. Too much stepping on each other, interruptions and useless bantering that is all over the place and having nothing to do with cars, not to mention frequent dog barking. I wanted to like and join/support this podcast but three is a crowd. Sam is smart, explains things in detail, is very well spoken and has the voice (and equipment) for a great podcast, but he needs to go solo and dump the other two dopes. until that happens, I will be passing on this podcast

    Sam’s so boring
Remove Sam off the show. So boring, and way too serious.

    My Favorite Podcast
Really enjoying the upbeat combo of Nicole and Nicole, with the soothing matter-of-fact delivery of knowledge from Sam. It’s really jiving, guys. Keep it up.

    Not my thing.
I wanted to like this show but it was very disjointed and seemed too concerned in making bad jokes then talking about the cars. There were inside jokes I didn’t understand, the sound was low then high and the show didn’t seem to have a format, I didn’t know what was going some times. The show got more tolerable an hour into it and that’s why I didn’t rate it lower. Sam seems like the parent on the show and was very informative. Maybe I’ll try again but for now I’m gonna see what else is out there.

    Uhhhhhhhhhh
Great content, but one of the three constantly says uhhhhh. Once you notice it, you can’t make it go away.

    Too Traditional Car Manufacturer Leaning
I really respect Sam, but he…as is with many traditional car journalists…seem to have a fascination with pointing out all the flaws of Tesla. While I understand that he is entitled to his opinion and a free press, he tends to point out all the flaws of Tesla without giving ample coverage similar or the exact same issue with other car traditional manufacturers. So if you watch particular news networks because of their political lean, know that this leans towards the Big traditional car manufacturers. We have a Nissan, Subaru, and Tesla in my household. Sam focuses on Tesla’s Autoplilot and it’s use of cameras vs. radar…but ironically there are more cars on the road with Nissan’s “MiPilot” and Subaru’s “EyeSight” than Teslas which use the same camera’s Sam spends all day giving negative feedback on. All I am asking is balance.

Must listen auto podcast — so approachable!
I heard Sam on This Week in Tech on the TWIT! network with Leo Laporte, and I immediately subscribed to his podcast. It was a breath of fresh air to hear honest, no nonsense evaluations of car technology, pricing, dealer behaviors, industry news, etc. THEN — I discovered Rob and Nicole. Rob is just goofy smart about cars. I mean that in a good way. He’s hilarious on the show, and it’s always fun to hear if he “fit” into his latest press car (he’s like 10.5 feet tall). Rob seems to be the most well traveled of the group — always hitting up Germany or Europe to review BMWs and Mercedes vehicles. He’s also a dog guy — very important to me. We know this because of his very vocal German Shepherds. Nicole is just as funny — a car buff, mom and wielder of New England euphemisms, she will definitely let Chevy know that they need to move that pickup truck steering wheel over a “skosch.” (sp?) She drives a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited that I’d would want to to buy (4xe), and she always includes a family perspective on her car reviews that I appreciate as a dad with human and dog passengers. Together, Sam, Rob and Nicole have a great rapport and breadth of auto industry knowledge. Want to hear about the latest features in an EV? CHECK! Want to hear why the Ford Bronco Sport is still “meh” because it’s basically a roid’d out Escape? CHECK! Want to get a fantastic one on one interview with the design team at Mazda so they can explain why their first EV barely goes like 80 miles? CHECK! On top of all this, they spend anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes an episode answering YOUR questions. I know. I’ve gotten answers to mine about EVs, buying or leasing, etc. They are super kind to their listeners and really give each question serious thought, no matter how weird or off topic the questions might be, i.e. Rob — why were you a vegetarian at some point? Bottom line — follow their podcast. You’re gonna love every episode. Especially if Rob’s dogs go nuts in the background.

No one I’d rather listen to on cars than Sam
… that being said, 1) I get it, auto journalists don’t like Tesla and you don’t have access to their cars, but I’d so rather the features of the car actually come up like a proper review rather than the maelstrom of their vaporware FSD and whatever else Elon said yesterday. As Roberto should be able to attest as a fellow Californian, while all of that is what gets talked about, meanwhile the cars themselves are a competitive EV, offer a great point of entry into the EV world, and are bought by many regular people that don’t give two figs about the cult of personality. Appreciated Nicole’s foil on the last interview. 2) Please look into what you can regarding the errant noises, barks, clicks, glass clinks, etc. it got better for a while before Dan left but has kind of slipped back.

    Podcasting etiquette
Love the show but whoever is typing on your latest episode was very annoying, please mute yourself. I am trying to listen to Sam speak but your keyboard & your inability to understand is very unprofessional.

    Love it
i found Sam listening to Leo Laporte. Always great insights
  • Bdawgno1
    Love the talk
Thanks to Sam and his appearance on a different Podcast (The Tech Guy - Leo Laporte), I found this beautiful talk show about cars. If you are a car person, love technology, humble discussion with three people whom are very knowledgeable about EVs/Trucks/gas eating stuff with two axles then this is for you. Love you guys and keep it up!! Sam - your mic upgrade has made it even better. Cannot wait for all future episodes!!

    Buddy Movie meets Motorworld
Tremendous chemistry between Sam, Rebecca and even Dan… always feels like just being around a conversation with people who really love cars and everyone brings something to the table. Keep it Up!

    Great Podcast
Dan Roth is the best. I used to listen to him when he was with Autoblog and followed him over to Wheel Bearings. All three hosts of this show provide great insights into the vehicles they review. I look forward to each and every episode.
  • Bellweather Trader
    Love this podcast!
Sam and Dan bring what made the Autoblog podcast great and Rebecca drives it to greatness!
  • Marshy459
    Fantastic
Knowledgeable, well rounded, and in-depth discussion about the market and products. Out three hosts all bring different backgrounds and viewpoints not found in other shows.

    Inside Baseball, for cars
They’re not Gonzo racers. They’re not Top Gear. They’re not some advertising arm of of a failing automotive news site. (Well, in Sam and Dan aren’t *anymore*). They’re Wheel Bearings. Let’s get this out of the way: Sam’s from Michigan. He says “you know” approximately 600 times an episode. You get used to it. People from Michigan do that. The content is terrific, and for the true industry wonk, I haven’t found any better. Rebecca’s really the spark plug for the show, and it’s much better when she’s there.
  • Curtismapman
    “You knows” drive me crazy
I would love to listen to this podcast because the information is so good but I can’t get past Sam (I believe that’s his name) saying “you know” every five seconds. It’s a pitfall he’s probably too old to correct, which is sad because he’s one of most knowledgeable car people out there.
  • luvboating_99
    Excellent automotive industry dialogue
I like the in-depth analysis of the cars Dan, Rebecca and Sam provide for their long term test drives. The podcast is a great source of information for all the latest technology in today's cars. They also comment on the automotive industry from a business perspective. I got a very detailed answer, for an email question I sent to them, with an on air response! Keep the podcasts coming!
  • Laremo2
    Great Podcast

    Great automotive podcast
This is a great mix of information, entertainment, and opinions. There is something for all types of enthusiasts. Keep up the great work!

    Best Vehicle Podcast Around
Dan, Rebecca, and Sam are a triple threat of intelligent and entertaining car talk. I’m no car expert and terminology sometimes baffles me but the trio does a great job explaining it for the simple minded. I’m always excited to tune in every week! Keep up the wonderful work!
  • jbeckr
    This week in autonomous driving
    The best automotive podcast.
  • TheCarGuy4All
If you’re in the industry... and
Even if you aren’t, this is the podcast to pay attention to weekly. While it may not have the sideway bro-themed highjinks of some shows (that are also wholly enjoyable), the Wheebearings (Dan, Sam, and Rebecca) generally have much more in depth discussions of current trends and technology, as well as key interviews with the people actually shaping (and not faking) the automotive landscape.

The Auto podcast you should know!
Current, informative and entertaining - nothing else need be said.
  • boxsterrich
    Fasntastic pod!
This is such a great podcast. Fantastic balance of Learning about all the New vehicles and honest feedback on driving impressions, coupled with an encyclopedic knowledge of the auto industry, the engineering behind vehicles ,the evolution of cars and car tech, and future trends. The three hosts mesh beautifully and I crack up at least once a week from Dan’s hilarious take on both the human condition and all things mechanical. I think it’s by far the best auto podcast going.
  • LordFrostington
    Best informative automotive podcast ever
I discovered this via the TWiT network when Sam was a guest on one of their shows. This podcast was good, but it became great when they added Rebecca to the show. Sometimes there are issues with audio quality but the content makes up for it.
  • salukimike9
    Very uninformed about EVs
Some of the conversations are interesting, but all 3 hosts are very negative on EVs and especially Tesla. Lots of incorrect information about Tesla’s. I’ve come to realize that they’re talking shilling hard for the big 3.
  • gmans5297
Good content on the automotive world
I discovered this podcast while watching Sam on the Tech Guy podcast. The content is mainly reviews of all types of automobiles and insights on the actual driving of automobiles. I really like when they talk about how the vehicles handle daily use such as driving in different weather conditions or hauling more people than just the drivers. Since I’m a tech nerd I also enjoy it when they dive into the tech features of a vehicle. All the hosts bring in good perspectives based on their driving habits and backgrounds. I really recommend checking it out and keep up the good work Sam, Rebecca and Dan.

Wheel Bearings gives me my industry bearings
I love this podcast. My profession is to find opportunities to innovate and improve experiences and operations for the customers and prospects of software company SAP. Rebecca, Sam and Dan are so engaging, interesting and chock full of facts. This is the best source for auto insights in my view. From vehicle specifics to industry trends, these guys rock! Thank you Sam, Rebecca and Dan. Keep it going.

    Distracting noise
I’ve been a fan for a long time, and I’m sure I’ll come back after awhile, but I’ve unsubscribed for now. The shuffling, crackling, mic handling, gulping and yawning are all very distracting, and feel disrespectful to the listener. In a conference call situation where I have no choice, it’s one thing, but this is supposed to be entertainment. Especially given the production background of the podcasters, it seems like this must be a deliberate choice to let it go unaddressed for so long. I have mentioned it to them on Twitter in the passed and was ignored. Before, the worst thing about the podcast was the audio tracks of participants sliding out of sync (still a problem) but I personally at this stage find the rest to be unlistenable. I know they can clear all this up, I just hope they do. Looking forward to coming back.

    Background noise
Please pay attention to the background noise (wrapping paper, turning pages etc. ) you guys do a very good job but I feel that this is getting more and more often. I totally understand that you might get hungry and need to open a snack but could you open it before you start your podcast or mute your mic? These kind of noises are even louder than your voices. Last podcast there was a sudden loud noise like when you try to connect or disconnect a mic and then complete silence. I’m sure you understand how important audio is in a podcast. I appreciate your hard work and taking the time to share your experiences. Take care!

    Improved for Model Year 2019!
Always liked Dan and Sam on the podcast, going back to their Autoblog days. Wheel Bearings podcast is even better in 2019 with the addition of Rebecca, who seems to fit in nicely. Keep up the good work!
  • Rock and roll car man
    Dan and sam are awesome
Dan and Sam do a great job filling auto enthusiasts in on upcoming automotive events in the industry and their car reviews are insightful as well. Thanks for what you two automotive experts share with us... Even if sometimes i find your opinions different than my own...i appreciate your passion. Jonathan

    Found by accident!
Was hunting for car podcasts and notes Dan Roth in the channel notes and remembering autoblog of old, thought this was worth a listen. Impressed, very detailed and entertaining- subscribed.

    Great Insights to Auto Industry
The hosts are extremely knowledgeable, and the podcasts are enlightening and entertaining for anyone involved in, or interested in the future of automotive industry. Highly recommended!

    Excellent automotive podcast!
Intelligent discussion about automobiles and the auto industry. I’ve listened to every episode and have learned quite a bit about new automotive tech. My wife wrote in when it was time to purchase her most recent vehicle and received great advice from Dan and Sam. (She ended up buying one of the vehicles they said to check out, the Mazda CX-5). Keep up the good work guys!

    Missed the grump car guy!
I used to listen to the autoblog podcast all the time. Good hosts, good car chat... then one by one the good hosts vanished till there was only Dan Roth. Then he was gone too! I found the autoblog podcast unlistenable after that. I wondered what became of him and here he is! Love the rare occasional side conversations about politics too. It’s refreshing to hear adults when it comes to sensible government regulations and stuff, and people not being jerks in general.
  • RealEstate555
    Was good
Sorry Dan. I used to listen to you since the Autoblog days. Good car reviews and good grumpy old man rants. But the nonsense spewing from your mouths on non-car issues is too much to take. Looking at you Sam. Ep 64, Sam jumped the shark with his comments. Dan see you around. It was good while it lasted.
  • ctgoolsbee
    Insight, analysis, & humor.
Great podcast that covers all aspects of the automotive industry, from two veterans of the biz. Always informative, often wryly humorous, I look forward to each episode.

    Dan Roth Fanboy ❤️❤️❤️
Not really sure how I missed that my MCM curmudgeon Dan Roth started another podcast after he he parted ways with the Autoblog podcast but I did. So glad I actually went on Twitter and saw one of his posts about this podcast. Dan and Sam are the automotive equivalent to Waldorf and Stadler (my two favorite characters from the Muppet Show). These guys totally trump 98% of the automotive journalists who just humble brag about driving at illegal speeds during a douche filled "rally" of YT'ers...sorry I meant "someone who might look like them but isn't them..." or a "tech" company "CEO" who's into cars but spouts all kinds of incorrect facts and figures on various auto related podcasts. But I digress... Happy I found this podcast. Can't wait to listen to all the episodes. 👌

    My Favorite Car Podcast
I've been listening to Dan for years and now he and Sam have their own podcast. Favorite parts is the garage. Do more spend my money and listener questions! Oh, new theme music is needed in 2018.

    Finally!
After dropping my podcast habit for a while I found my previous favorite automotive podcast now lacking. Luckily, with a little bit of help from google I found that the band had gotten back together! Dan and Sam have taken me back to the good old days of the Autoblog podcast. Thank you very much gentlemen!
  • PodcastListenerHouston123
First podcast review ever! Very interesting and thoughtful conversations on cars.
A little confession, I have been listening to your podcast since the days with Autoblog with Chris S. Episode 45, with Dan's comment on House of Primerib sent me over the edge, and I would have to give you a great review. Keep up the great work and conversations going. Thanks.
  • beanspell
Great Discussions and lots of information!
Love this podcast! Lots of info and great conversations. Dan Roth is great and brings a lot of what I miss about the old Autoblog podcast to this podcast. It's simple, informative and allows for deeper discussions than a lot of the more heavily produced and high level podcast out there. I also appreciate the fact that I can listen to this with my children in the room/car, that is a huge plus!

How an automotive podcast should be
If you're looking to jokes, gimmicks and interviews with celebrity owners or millionaire collectors, this podcast is not for you. However, if insightful discussion about automotive news and trends from two career insiders interests you, then Wheel Bearings is a must subscribe. Try three episdoes and share with your friends in the morning.

    Excellent automotive podcast
A fun and insightful automotive podcast. Down to earth and my favorite of several that I'm subscribed to.
