DarkSideSaiyanGreat Podcast4 months ago I stopped watching tv. Been listening to nothing but True Crime podcast that settles in the UK. I finished listening to Casefiles and They Walk Among US. Now I’m listening to your podcast. All three are wonderful podcast. As an American you tend to get immune to everyday crime here. Keep up the great work. I’m 147 episodes in and loving it.
-
blackskull45Good podcastThis is my second favorite new crime podcast, right after casefile. It’s fresh and new and not a rehashing of the old same crimes , it’s interesting and I like the guessing the date and year game at the beginning

adele57Empathy ++You are truly amazing I love your compassionate stories and how sad and well you tell your empathetic tales how sad humans are ! Can you please make your sound later it’s so hard to hear thank you

obfus44LOVE this podcast!I love the content, the research is great, and I could listen to the host all day! One of my favorites 🙂

cmdminterested in true crime…and am interested in the u.k., (NOT the royal family) but this guy thinks he’s clever, cute and funny…sadly, he’s none of these things…i thought we had all the idiots here in the u.s….i was wrong…you have this guy…

BschoraI like it, but.Taking a break from this one. I’m not a big fan of listening to victim statements. They are personal accounts that were written for the judge and jury. I’d be devastated if a podcaster published my vs verbatim. I don’t need to listen to all that very private, distressed info. I also struggle at times with with the host’s accent. This is not a blame, it’s just a lot of work. This is my problem.

Quel the belleClassy! Not overly graphic, compassionate reporting!
-
lolamaewGreat listen!Currently binge listening. I look forward to hearing this pod everyday. Love it! Edited:I’m 336 episodes in and sad as I’m slowly closing in on listening to them all. 🤦♀️

NullityBingingI’m still six years behind, but I’m binging this whole thing. Love the hosts voice it’s so soothing and easy to understand. I love the stories too, and I love how the host explains things that are maybe UK centric, and that the rest of us aren’t aware of such as locations and measurements. I don’t know what’s coming up in the next six years of episodes but I hope it’s just as wonderful as what I’m listening to now.

H.ProtagonistaPerfect backgroundI’m always looking for things to listen to while I draw, and I happened across this podcast after finishing up my last crime show. With a huge library, interesting stories, and personable presentation, I’ve really been enjoying it. It’s become a staple of my nights, and I recommend it. Great job and many thanks to Adam for putting out such nice content.

2244356745He’s a MAN, not a womanThe syrupy wokeness and celebration of sexwork is nauseating. Gonna have to unfollow. Can’t deal with this crap. Don’t lie to someone and tell them you’re a woman when you aren’t. I would feel terribly violated. But, let’s only think of their feelings. THE ONLY thing I agree with you is that he went to a woke liberal university in a suit and came out as a woman.

baflier747Good podcast, terrible audio quality. The content of the podcast is good. But the host really needs to invest in some quality recording equipment. It sounds like the podcast is recorded underwater.
-
wlm115Bad SoundSorry, you can’t produce something that sounds like this & except people to listen.
-
1prooneyLove your podcasts!Very well researched & informative! Only negative thing I have to say is that sometimes you refer to dead bodies as ‘it’ rather then “she” or “he”…
-
JillianrcWhat’s happening? Why are they episodes are getting shorter. The first 5 mins are ads and the things happened the year of the crime.
-
hopscotch86One of my favorites!I have loved your podcast for a few years and and am listening to them all again. I enjoy your sense of humour as well. Thank you and please keep making these! Lara

victoriaconcordiacrescitAudio and ad issuesThis sounds like it’s being recorded on a potato through a bad Skype call. Seriously, do better. There are free recording programs, and seriously cheap microphones. This is garbage. Also, 5 minute ad at the beginning of a 28 minute video. Wow. Get lost dude this is absurd stop doing the podcast
-
JaynieJaynieTop notchAlways well researched and interesting!
-
Devine Ms DSound Quality ruins itCome on dude, do you not listen yourself mate? The sound is horrible that I cannot hear the story.
-
Noorkitty👍🏼great…

Deni CaliforniaA weekly must.Thank you.

twinklr14Potential, but didn’t work for meI couldn’t finish the episode I tried. A full 4 mins in, and ads were just ending. That’s pretty intense. I thought the episode sounded interesting in the description, but I just couldn’t stay engaged and my mind kept wandering. I think if the narrator were a bit more exciting, I might be inclined to keep listening.

MornienyaHidden GemLike many of you I have listened to a LOT of true crimes podcasts. I think I found this one by searching because it doesn’t pop up on the lists here. Give this podcast a listen! The narrator is pleasant and fun. The podcast is structured well with solid information and facts along with the Adam’s opinions and perspective. The opening segment is fun and really helps place you in the year the crime happens and the social/political climate. Adam’s opinions are thoughtful and encourage you to really think about the impact the crime had on the victim and everyone else touched by tragedy as well as the systems involved. TLDR: Great podcast with a personal touch and perspective. Provides a greater understanding of the environment in which the crime took place.

MaximusMillionsFun true crime seriesSolid
-
ginnyrose1991Lightning-SubscribedA NORMAL host, with a non-robotic voice and reasonable storytelling? No vocal fry? Oh yeah—I could not hit “subscribe” quickly enough.
-
Doc. SKeep being youAnd keep the show going
-
HfjdicjcjfjfGive it a listen!I’m so glad I found this podcast. I’m from the US, and so many US true crime podcasts are sensationalized and dramatic, or make light of really horrific crimes. This podcast is to the point but still presents crimes in a way that holds your attention. Also, to the person below who has such a low view of sex workers, find some empathy.
-
P.TwoBearsGood to hear host refuse to denigrate sex workersThis is a great podcast in general and very well produced. I saw a very silly review that someone left— their panties are in a very tight wad because the host refuses to denigrate sex workers. He has a crime podcast. It has become evident to our host that as long as sex work remains illegal then sex workers will be the victims of crimes. Keep up the good work, and keep your personal moralistic tendencies out of podcast reviews
-
auto-de-feIt is sickeningIt turned my stomach to hear Adam say that prostitution is just as valid as any other type of work. So, you’d be just fine with the idea of your mother or your daughter in that line of work. Do I have that right? My hope is that you are not being candid...but my fear is that you are sincere in your depravity. 🤨...stay classy...🤨

LydianalaModeExcellent English indie podcast. Crimes from across the pondJune 2020 — quarantine continues (sort of?) Review: Adam will be doing a live show with the ladies of RedHanded (that is when we can all go out again!) — the two best UK true crime podcasts! I wish I could take a quick trip across the pond :( Adam’s podcast is excellent — five stars — he is an excellent storyteller with a lovely English accent, and he engages in thorough research for each case. Adam also has a knack for covering fascinating stories that *always* focus on the victim and the victim’s family. I wanted to update my original review, quickly, to comment on the strength of this podcast, and how Adam has worked very hard to produce a truly thoughtful true crime podcast that treats victims with deep respect. I am so pleased to see this podcast growing and gaining more listeners as it is richly deserved. And condolences on the loss of Cooper, Adam! We lost our furry boy some time ago, and it still hurts...almost every day. Someday we will be able to welcome another furmonster into our home but it’s been rough.
-
Steampunk FanThank you Adam! You have a fan from Virginia in the USA. Heard about your pod from True Crime Enthusiast and can’t quit listening. You are an amazing storyteller! My favorite episode might be the one on the tragic death of the brave Laura Bailey- your compassion and inclusion of her brother’s recollections were perfectly woven throughout.

Yoga ScholarLoud ads!Don’t listen to this podcast if you’re planning on falling asleep. The Amazon ad at the end is 10x louder than the podcast. It will blast you out of your relaxed state!
-

-
UtilitarianFemmeGreat, great showJust wish the episode were 5-10 minutes longer, they would be ideal to fall asleep to
-
brainzmatterNothing but adsThe host has a speech impediment that makes listening to integrated ads even more grating. Ugh! Unsubscribed. There’s no there there—just ads about his wife’s supposed favorite underwear. It’s amazing what people will stoop to in the way of shilling dubious products.
