    Please bring back Dr Chutka
The pod has taken a sharp turn from hard medical topics that are based on data and patient care to social justice. It’s quite disheartening that the new episodes hinge on not a shred of evidence but equity opinions. I have to now vet episodes to know if I am going to learn something or be lectured by a social justice advocate based on politicized topics. Please pay attention to the host when creating podcasts.

    Low cost treatments
Fantastic podcast! Dr. Chutka is an excellent host. Topics and experts are relevant and helpful. One request is to include some information about low cost treatment options for patients with financial constraints. Everything in healthcare is driven by what insurance will cover these days and so often out of pocket costs are very high for patients. As an example I really enjoyed the asthma update episode but all of the inhalers are extremely expensive and we are usually dictated by what is on the insurance formulary. I would love info on evidence based low cost alternatives that are available for each topic that is covered. May not be always ideal or newest treatments, but often what we are dealing with in primary care.

    Great content but….
Horrible horrible ad placement. Sometimes the ads come in at twice the volume and interrupt a word or in the middle of a sentence and then the sentence just continues directly after. I understand ads are needed to help fund yet how it is presented here is ridiculous. Please keep everything the same volume so I don’t blow out my ear drums. But the content itself is amazing, well researched, and are always great refreshers.

    Science
Always appreciate rational, science-based discussions about our wide spectrum of human health —especially during these scary times of conservative fascism. (Even these reviews are not immune from maga propaganda) Stay true to your mission, Mayo Clinic. Thank you.

    Inclusiveness
While the LGBTQIA+ was focused on inclusivity I’d appreciate a discussion about detransitioners. Those who are now deeply regretting surgery and/or hormones. If the medical community is not willing to discuss this topic why is the push for inclusiveness not including everyone? I’m not hearing anything about suicide rates after gender transition. Would love to see the data.

    Patient autonomy
The ethical considerations of care include beneficence, non-maleficence, and patient autonomy. The former two seem throughly neglected by statements, like the following, which indicate patient autonomy is the only concern. 13:33. Discussing the topic of addressing health disparities… “If they come to you requesting certain things, by all means, do what they are requesting.”

    Great podcast
Very informative , systematic and concise information from top experts. I especially like the very systematic and practical approach the cost uses to get the most pertinent information from the experts.

    TERRIBLE AUDIO from remote speakers.
Good information. However many of most of the speakers are VERY difficult to understand. Also the remote call-in speakers have poor quality audio. Not worth the effort

    Data not used
I want to hear the statistic behind your recommendations but just tHe opIniOns of eXpErtS. Don’t tell me to believe the data without giving me the data. This is why people are not getting vaccinated. You behave as though you can’t be trusted.

    Blow your nose
Would love to listen to this latest podcast but ALL I can hear is the nasal whistling of the host. Not great!

No up to date info on the pandemic huh!?
I know health professionals are pretty worried right now about the COVID-19, coronavirus. Not at the Mayo Clinic tho! How are you able to spread up to date health informatics if your podcasts take so long to create? You’re really failing yourself and other health professionals that are looking to you for UP TO DATE info on the virus. But y’all just don’t seem to even be sweating it. Must be nice!!!!

    Mayo is fantastic
It's so great to hear selected talks from Mayo's conferences. If I missed the conference or was on the wrong track, I would have never heard it! Fantastic series.
