Must-listen for Sentinels fans, and great for creatives!
(Updated from original review in Feb 2017.) For those of us who enjoy the characters and lore of Sentinels of the Multiverse, Sentinel Tactics, Sentinel Comics RPG, and other games from Greater Than Games, this podcast with the creators is amazing! In addition to all the backstory and reveals it provides, Christopher and Adam are (as always) fun and entertaining to listen to. Their love of the Multiverse they have created is apparent in the energy and attention they provide, here, and make this a wonderful experience! For many of the fans, having the ability to directly ask questions is the best part, as all the theories and conjecture from years of online discussions are being addressed! In addition, it's an impressive experience to hear two creators bouncing off of each other, how they work, and how those results come to fruition, making it a potential learning experience for other creatives, be it in game design, fiction writing, art, etc. As the story has been told, the podcast has transitioned beautifully through various states, maintaining its wonderful story telling while continuing to entertain throughout -- and allowing its listeners to be involved more and more as time goes on.

    Always Surprised
I started collecting Sentinels of the Multiverse items in early 2018, and this podcast has more than doubled my appreciation for the characters and stories in the game. Whenever I start listening to an episode that I think is about a boring hero or villain, I come away thinking how awesome their story is. Christopher and Adam, you guys are super cool, and it’s been awesome joining you on this journey to the multiverse and beyond.

    A great podcast
I’ve been playing Sentinlas pf the multiverse since the first Kickstarter and love the game. But this podcast adds so much depth to the game. It’s also great story telling. I highly recommend it for fans of the game and fans of good story telling.

    Honestly Just Phenomenal
This podcast is hugely entertaining, and has so much valuable content for anyone who is a fan of Sentinel comics, or even the concept of comic books in general. The other important thing; Christopher and Adam are genuinely entertaining people that are fun to laugh at and with. Hard to beat. Can not recommend enough.

The Greatest Comics you Never Heard Of
This podcast is a niche podcast as it is the podcast of Sentinel Comics. They are from a card game, video game, tactical game, and RPG. Despite that, these episodes deal with the fictional lore of the comics they claim to come from. If you are a fan of the original games this podcast will give you the lore you need. However, if you don’t know about sentinels of the multiverse, this podcast might not be for you. You wouldn’t know the characters and might not care to hear about their lore. I love this podcast though and recommend it if you enjoy learning about superhero lore, even if they’re just from a card game.

Fantastic source for all the Sentinels of the Multiverse lore
Not a dry recitation of dull facts, but uncovers the hidden lore behind the art, text, and comic book references seen in the card game. Very interactive with the audience through the question and answer section after the main character, or setting is covered through the Oblivion event. Does NOT go into any of the rules. This is purely a pot cast covering the lore. It is a great resource for the upcoming RPG. If you like the card game either on paper, or via the computer simulation, you do yourself a disservice if you don’t immediately subscribe and listen to all the episodes.

    America’s Finest!
Sentinels of the Multiverse was already my favorite game before I found the podcast, but this brought it to a whole new level. Christopher and Adam’s creativity and banter would be fun and entertaining even if there were no products to go along with the information they shared. Keep it up, guys!

    For Sentinel Comics fans!
Love to hear Christopher and Adam tell us the hidden backstories behind all of their characters. The depth is just amazing!

    Required listening for Sentinel players
Creative kids often dream up their own Superhero universes. Christopher and Adam have made those dreams into a great game and now a facinatingly complex and bewilderingly complicated podcast.

    A Peek into Creative Minds
This is a great podcast if you're curious about the expanded lore of the Sentinels of the Multiverse setting. Not only have Adam and Christopher have put a tremendous amount creative effort into their characters, but they obviously know about the history of the comic book medium as well. For the superfan only, and that's not a complaint by any means.

This is everything I love about Sentinels, and more
Sentinels was one of the first card games I really fell in love with, and part of that is because of the amazing multi-faceted world that Christopher and Adam have built. It's been so amazing to hear all the little details! Now if I could just get the theme song out of my head.....

    Amazing
This podcast is absolutely amazing, giving the background, history, lore, and origins of the characters of the Sentinels games. Adam and Christopher are a blast to listen to, always hilarious eager to give us more of their comic world. Keep it up guys!

    It's bot-tastic!
I was interested in the Kickstarter for a card game called Sentinels of Earth Prime and when I started to look into it, I found out that there was already a game available using the same mechanics - Sentinels of the Universe - so I bought a copy. My young sons and I loved the card game, and I had soon ordered all of the expansions. I got a new iPad for Father's Day mostly just to play the video game. I was officially obsessed :) When I discovered that the flavor text on the cards actually came from a rich comic book continuity, I was very excited. This excitement was tempered a little bit when I realized that it was an IMAGINARY continuity and there were no comics to read to learn about it :( Then I found this podcast, and I couldn't be more pleased. The genuine love that Adam and Christopher have for the multiverse they have created comes across in every episode. The stories are great, and the show is always a ton of fun. Now I look forward to each podcast and eagerly await the RPG. Thanks Adam and Christopher!

    A Lore-filled Podcast
The creators of the game Sentinels of the Multiverse present a podcast dedicated to the lore and background of their creation. Each week they discuss the history and background of a character, group, and more while answering questions that fans of the games write in. It is a thorough examination of the world they have created and only enhances the experience one has while playing the game in its card and digital versions. If you are a fan of the game or want to learn more about a world and its fictional comic history, you have one of the best podcasts out there right here. Fans of comics and games should take note!

    Excellent Comic Book Stories
The amount of works these guys have put into the background of their game is truly astounding. This podcast is full of incredibly interesting stories that every SotM or comic book fan will thoroughly enjoy.

It's Way Cooler Than You're Imaging
A podcast about tabletop games based on comic book characters that don't actually exist in any comic book. Sounds about as nerdy as it gets, right? Well, you're not wrong, but it's also immensely entertaining. If you've ever played the game Sentinels of the Multiverse, you need to listen to this. It gives SO MUCH context to the characters involved and the universe (or multiverse) in general. If you haven't listened, it's still great storytelling orchestrated by two guys who's passion shows through in every episode. They're not just imaginative, but quirky masters of wordplay. So the next time you're taking a drive, moving the lawn or otherwise have downtime, give it a listen.

Great look at the lore in Sentinels of the Multiverse
If you play the card game, you have to listen to this podcast. Christopher and Adam go deep into the history of their characters, and explain all the enigmatic stories happening on the card art! I reinstalled the Apple Podcasts app on my phone to write this review - this show is. that. good. 😜

    Looooooore
I <3 the lore of the game, and I <3 the way you guys can just sit down a talk about the stories. Fantastic. Also, listened to the Bunker episode, and...I have a sister named Katie...time to write a letter

Great look into the background lore
This is one of my favorite podcasts, probably because it's about one of my favorite games. Adam and Christopher have built this amazing, complex, detailed world in their heads, and we've only caught glimpses of it through the games. The background given in this podcasts makes the gameplay experience richer. It may even be interesting for those unfamiliar to the game. Together, they are definitely great though

    Greater Than Games, Great Podcast
Wonderful Podcast for those who (like me) love Sentinels Of the Multiverse, and World building. A fantastic look into the lives and histories of the amazing Sentinel's Characters, full of information for those for whom the game is simply not enough :)
  • Great action

Definitely a must listen for any fan of SotM
This is a lore heavy podcast. I think this is great, and Christopher and Adam have a great time talking about the world and characters they've created. And I have a great time listening. Keep up the good work guys. :D

    Supremely Entertaining!
I love this podcast. The Sentinels Comics line of games has been one of my favorites for years. The pieces of lore scattered around the games' synopsis, character descriptions, and flavor text were icing on the cake for these phenomenal games (especially as a long time comic book and superhero enthusiast). With this podcast all of the story dots are being connected, clarified, and expanded in ways not seen before, and it's beautiful. Christopher and Adam and the rest of The Letters Page team are great at answering questions and working to make sure everyone's voice is heard. Even if you're not a fan of the games (yet), then just listen to this podcast for the interesting tales woven by these two great storytellers. You can really feel the love, excitement, and passion they have for their creations. Christopher and Adam, thanks for being awesome. I can't wait to hear more.
  • McAlebeard
    Excellent
This show is as great as the games are. The guys doing the show have great chemistry which makes the show flow extremely well. There's a lot of passion behind their development and presentation of the lore. If you are a fan of the Sentinel games, then this is the podcast for you.

    My New Favorite Podcast
Hey Adam and Christopher I LOVE your podcast. I was introduced to the card game when Oblivaeon went on KickStarter, and the Tactics game around the same time. I did not realize there was such a rich mythology you both designed and let me just say WOW!!!!!! I bought the app and played it a few times not really getting it at first. A friend of mine lent me the card game and so I picked up the core game and the core game to Tactics around the same time on sale. I've slowly aquired the entire card game and played it on occasion, but more so the app. Still just on occasion though. Since you're podcast started I've become hooked on your game. I play it almost every night before bed. Tuesdays are my busiest day at work and your podcast is my reward in the 2nd half of my day! Your podcasts got me so hooked I went back and rebought everything for tactics and am staging to paint my minis (which is something I have not done in 5 years for any game). Your podcast and characters are so great and so well thought of frankly I'm more of a fan of your setting than Marvel or DC now. It makes me wish I could have all these characters in tactics and play each story out in both that and the card game. I wish you guys actually published comics cause I would be a huge subscriber! Please please keep it coming, this is great!

Must have for any fan of SotM!
Sentinels of the Multiverse is one of my all time favorite games and this is now my top podcast. How can you miss when the hosts are the top two experts in the world? Even if you are only a casual fan the show is full of amazing interesting information.

Love the game, love the Podcast
I am a huge SOTM fan, I bought the game at Gencon in 2011(I think when it premiered) and fell in love. I've since gave them large amounts of money for kickstarters, preorders and extra copies to gift friends. One of the great aspects of the game is all the hidden story continuity within the card art and the quotes on the cards. Its gives you a real sense that the universe the games are built around is real like an actual comic book company output. This Podcast gives us even more and peels back all the hidden secrets that Adam and Christopher have, until now, kept to themselves. Want to know which Legacy had which powers? They will tell you Want to know how Baron Blade conquered Mordengrad? They got you covered Whats up with Wraiths temporarily sentient hair dryer? They discuss it Want to know what Expatriette super power is? Trick question, she doesn’t have one. Unless you count awesome natural purple hair. Which honestly you should. This has become one of my most anticipated weekly podcasts, keep up the good work guys!

    Continuing the Legacy
Two guys talking, a completely original podcast idea! Ha just kidding, no really this is probably the best podcast out there covering the world of Sentinel Comics, a world of fictional fictional superhero comics and their many exploits, tragedies, and triumphs. If you love passionately made up things and listening to conversations about such things, this is a not bad way to spend that time loving them as well. You should listen to this show until the multiverse collapses into Oblivaeon.

Christopher and Adam Make Podcasts Great Again!
I don't listen to podcasts often, but when I do, I listen to The Letters Page. I love the Sentinels board game and Christopher and Adam do a fantastic job of providing some in depth background and lore in each episode. And their personalities during the show easily keep me entertained. The Christopher and Adam song has been stuck in my head and I don't care.

A podcast useful on any Earth
Always late to the party, my family and I discovered the 'Sentinels of the Multiverse' card game just this last summer. It became an instant success with my children and I pouring over the artwork, the rich lore, and the endless possibilities as we stayed up far too late exploring this amazing new world. Now, we have a podcast to listen to, directly from the creators, that shares their own love for the stories they created, enhacing our own enjoyment we get from this series of games. Keep on talking, Christopher and Adam, we'll keep on listening!

Amazing podcast from 2 amazing guys
Sentinels of the Multiverse is unquestionably my favorite board game, and I own a lot of games. This podcast, even though we've been waiting a while for it, is as good as the game - something that I both treasure and share with everyone that I can. Chris and Adam, thanks so much for doing this!

    Amazing
This podcast is a must for any Sentinels of the Multiverse fan. Christopher and Adam have been building this game universe for years and it's awesome to hear them discuss the depth of backstory they've created for our favorite characters. Great insight into the world for any aspiring GM who, like me, plans to run a campaign when the RPG releases. Love it!
