I immediately felt drawn to everything about Laurie's style and when she mentioned where she was from it all made sense.I grew up about an hour away, and Laurie reminds me of the type of women I was raised around (in the best possible way). No nonsense for sure, a little brusque (but that's because we're always on the move!), and deep caring and kindness (and her local accent). It's hard to explain, but it feels like an aunt telling me to get my ish together.

I have listened to quite a few episodes and I there is some pretty good info and topics, but one thing that is starting to really bother me is how much the host talks about herself and basically how she is already doing all the stuff that the guest is there to talk about. She has to respond to every single comment about how she is basically already doing what they are saying and interrupts SO MUCH. I think asking them more questions would be so much better. I appreciate what she is trying to do but is just doesn’t feel genuine or like she really cares about knowing the other person just about showing how good she, Laurie, is.

I love getting my weekly dose of Laurie, she feels like a friend. My youngest of four is getting ready to start her junior year in college. I have had over 30 years of accumulating items. I’m a perfectionist (enneagram 1) and super sentimental, great combination, haha. Laurie gives practical advice, cheers you on and has a variety of guests from all walks of life. I have been listening for almost a year and always look forward my weekly inspiration.

This latest podcast has open my eyes and made me realize that my family members have been through trama and that is why they are who they are. Its not about the stuff. They need help not a dumpster. Thanks for having matt on and explaining things

As an Enneagram 1, it’s hard to find my match when it comes to organization, but Laurie hits the mark… and BEYOND! I love how her tips go beyond the organization of things like mess and paper and into deep topics like emotional decluttering. Laurie keeps it real (& inspiring!)… 10/10 recommend!

So glad I found the This Organized Life podcast. It has been a game changer for me in helping me stay focused by decluttering my home and my mind. What I love most is that Laurie keeps it REAL … she knows how life goes and gives tips and tools that work for real life. And she is super fun! I love this podcast! I’ve been a long time listener but I specifically loved the summer series episodes on Eneagram types. The episode on 5s was so helpful to learn more about my husband. I loved the juggling crystal and wood example. I’ll be sure to remember that one!! And it gave me all the feels when they said that 5s long for their needs to not feel like too much for others. It’s such a gift to know more about the people around us. The type 1 episode was spot on for me too! This podcast goes beyond just helping me improve the functionality of my spaces. It also helps me how better understand myself and those around me. And it’s FUN to listen to! I’d recommend it to anyone!

As a working mother of 3 active kids my life is crazy! This podcast was an enormous help! Laurie is honest, and funny and puts clutter in terms you can all relate too! This podcast gave me a different perspective and great tips to get my crazy life in order!!! Her topics go beyond physical clutter. There is so much more to being organized and Laurie addresses the tough topics.

I’ll give it another episode but I listened to the 2020 season recap and some of the episode recap sound bytes were missing. Also the podcaster speaks with a lot of vocal fry so that it becomes distracting.

I like the topics discussed, but the host is a bit annoying. She has a response to EVERYTHING her guest’s share and it becomes all about her. Just wish she could be more concise and more genuinely interested in what her guests have to say.

Laurie’s podcast is awesome. She asks great questions and I always learn so much from her and her amazing guests!

I listen to a select couple of podcasts and this is one of them! Laurie keeps it real and offers real world solutions that are actually implementable in my life. I’m a listener for life!!!

I give her 4 stars because it’s always positive and real. I’m 55 episodes in as a reference. Some episodes have me literally running for a pen and paper to jot down ideas. Other episodes are more ‘fyi’. And on occasion I walk away from an episode thinking what did I just listen to? 2 people talking? Did I actually hear anything useful? It doesn’t bother me because I’ve been listening while painting my house (in fact it keeps me company!), but wanted to throw it out there for other listeners. Episodes are a little too short but it looks like they get longer later on.

I wanted to love this but in the end it is just like a long commercial, so annoying.

I found this podcast after a friend recommended it to me... and it has changed so much for me! It’s a great podcast to listen to and easy to pick up whenever! The tips are super helpful in making me more organized! Highly recommend this podcast!!

I really enjoy listening but way way too short. I hate having to constantly change podcasts especially when I want to listen to when driving. I find myself not wasting my time and hope will be longer and will start listening again.

I started listening to this podcast last year and was immediately hooked! I love hearing Laurie and Erika’s real life approach to everyday clutter and messes. Their tips and tricks help the everyday mom get organized and stay organized. What helped me the most was understanding what emotional clutter is and how to let go of your guilt!
