EDIT- Man i wish i could write 12 reviews. The longer I listen, the more I love ya. Just great. You keep me sane! You guys are my fave. All these haters complaining about your politics- you know what that means. They are in the cult! Stay spooky and awesome.

Used to great when it was just spooky stories. It’s now slowly morphed into a podcast where Brennan just regurgitates the most liberal talking points, with maybe three spooky stories. I had to check out when he said he moved to bluesky and trashed Jordan Peterson for no legitimate reason.

If I wanted to listen to Paul’s podcast where he interviews guests regarding the paranormal, I would. Please go back to telling us and discussing paranormal stories.

I’ll prolly change this review in a week or so bc I hate leaving less than 5 star reviews but I feel like this needs to be said— calling a man who partied a lot and knocked up a sex worker who had a son with Down syndrome and then he decided to lock his son up in the attack a “pre-war snoop dogg” is weeeird. Snoop Dogg is a stand up dude and is a very avid philanthropist. He gives back to communities and donates so much of his wealth. Yeah I guess he has a rep of ‘partying’ but not even that — it’s just smoking weed. I just can’t help but think that comparison reeks of racism. Just jeez, what a weird thing to say about a man who has helped so many people.

First episode and the host is insulting people based on politics. That’s how you alienate and divide people. Why can’t entertainment shows just be about entertainment? I don’t need to know your political beliefs.

Really enjoyed your banter with Sinead. Please have her back over and over again! She’s fantastic and hilarious!

I’ve been listening since 2018, and this show is just a joy. I like the banter easily as much as the stories. Keep being the honest, funny, curious, and devastatingly handsome folks you are.

Brennan & Paul are amazing and cheer me up each episode!

I originally came to this show for the ghost stories. Over time, I found myself here for the hosts and what they bring in discussion and philosophy. Rarely do I find a show where I can just sit and listen to the hosts, and be happy just to be hearing the conversation. This is one of those times where I am in that space. I highly recommend subscribing to hear the extra shows, as it’s worth it. Kudos to the hosts for being kind and empathetic on the subject of mental health, as well.

If you want to hear a male apologist who is obsessed with hearing himself talk and is utterly disgusted by western culture and civilization. Along with his meek British sidekick who occasionally delivers some interesting tidbits of information (when not being talked over by his obnoxious co-host) then this show is for you. Expect thee or four rushed stories intermingled with a conversation between the Brennan who is the equivalent of a man child with depression a misplaced sense of grandeur and also Brennan, because Paul is only there for filler and to agree with Brennan’s extremely biased views on the world. A unique insight into the devolution of a podcast that started off great but became nothing but a vehicle for the host to vomit his own ideas and pay himself on the back for ruining something that could have been great. I left once and gave it a second chance, done make the same mistake I did. Ghost story guys are nothing but a ghost story themselves.

I’ve been a listener for quite some time. I enjoy the ghost stories and discussion between the both of them. More often than not, they have lately begun with more political conversation. It’s not what I’m there for. It’s also tiring, as an American, to hear people from other countries commenting on our issues. Yes, you can have an opinion. If you aren’t American & haven’t lived here for years & years, you’ll never understand the true background, the nuances, the exchanges between different groups of people here. This podcast used to be an escape. Now I’m running away from it.

Please keep it clean & on proper ghosts story stuff. Boundaries are worth the effort. Your voices are perfect, worth far more than stink’n swear words .

Super long time listener and the show just keeps losing its charm. Brennan always says he doesn’t like talking about himself but we know way too much about him for that to be true. There was a lot to like and respect about the show. But stick to the stories and less irrelevant banter and I’ll come back. Unfollowing with the 2023 Christmas episode.

What I mean about the showers Brendan keeps on using Jesus name of me and I get that he’s an atheist, but he has to say it over and over again. If you can’t stop saying it can you please leave it out, I am not one of the fundamentalist Christians I’m pretty liberal and I still find it quite offensive. I hope they read this and consider in the future being a little less insensitive to other peoples beliefs.

I don’t know the Canadian guy is… but he’s insufferable. Everything is about him and he has a lot of opinions you’ll learn about… most not relating to ghost stories. I listened to several episodes and it just got worse. The British guy sounds cool. May look into his solo work.

Currently listening to First Responders Part 2 and as you guys are joking about space toward the later half of the episode, my audio got weird and sounded like an alien voice for the rest of the episode.. so creepy! I wonder if anyone else had this experience?!

I found this podcast by accident, and am so glad that I did. Heck, I want to take one of their ghost tours. Unfortunately, we’re bordered by Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia so a quick trip to Revelstoke or Victoria is a bit complicated. They are never boring! There’s constant flow of personal experiences, music, and information. Keep up the great work! Used to enjoy this but apparently the $10 Patreon monthly charge does not make you a premier member ? So I ask what’s the use of subscribing?

I was a subscriber for years but I am sad to say that I am unsubscribing because of the political talk. No matter where you stand on issues, it’s so draining to listen to. I want to hear ghost stories not political rants. :(

Brennan seem to have experience every topic they discuss. Even the most outlandish things. It reminds me of the kid in jr high that always tries to one up your story.

Started at the beginning and listened to pretty much everything. Love the listener stories as well as the hosts take on ghostly phenomena. Update June 2023; I miss Ian; there’s too much blather about unrelated stuff. Also tired of hearing about that “Missing 411” nonsense which has been thoroughly and completely debunked, please give it a rest. I think I’m done with this podcast. Too much bizarre and weirdly pervy digressions and too few ghosts. It was fun for a while but no more.

Those who know me know I’ve almost always got one earbud in, listening to podcasts; at work, driving, doing housework, falling asleep. I’ve got about 20 good ones I keep up with. But lately I feel like I owe them all an apology. I’ve been absolutely binging The Ghost Story Guys for the past three weeks. Brennan has a quick wit and a fantastic voice. And he has the BEST LAUGH EVER! The co-hosts’ banter with him is utterly hilarious (the deadpool-level insults traded are fantastic) The stories are well researched and beautifully written! I highly recommend this pod! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️

I actually liked the first three of your episodes in general. I have had a paranormal experience myself. However, in two out of those first three episodes, you chose to insult the faith of millions of people worldwide. You didn’t say derogatory things about faith in general or other types of faith, only Christianity. It’s a shame that you use this platform to express your personal bigotry regarding Christians and the Christian religion.

Wanted to thank you guys for an amazing show. Not the scariest stories out here but they’re very well structured and delivered. The playful banter between the 2 of you reminds me of me and my friends. I all around love this podcast. Keep up the great work. I’m about to buy the subscription on Apple Podcasts. Just Swamp Things was hands down, the best episode. I live in NC, and have lived in Wakefield UK. Both places are amazing and mysterious. My point is… this episode has been nostalgic due to the mingling of the British and southern presences. The Canadian connection???? Well, when I lived in England, both of my flat area were Canadian.

I listen to a lot of podcasts but this one holds my interest. I work in a hospital so it’s hard not to laugh out loud but you guys make that impossible some days. Keep up the spooks. Michelle

I enjoy the ghost stories a lot but sometimes miss the jokes completely. I know it’s funny because of the laughter but I don’t get the jokes. Makes me feel like I’m missing the humor.

These guys are the best ones to listen to especially if they are laughing about the 1980s MY DECADE. The stories are creepy and they tell them find person and their voice and storytelling is captivating. I need to join your Paterson. Maybe I’ll look y’all up at this next Crime Con. Definitely try it out I’m happy I stubbles across it.

Brennan and Paul are fantastic together. If you’re sensitive to outside worldly topics then probably not for you. The chemistry and knowledge ya’ll bring to the table is by far one of the best. Paul you’re laughter is contagious! Keep up the great work.

This podcast was recommended to me and I’m glad I took the advice. I’m a few years late to the party, so I’m still on the first season. I’m thoroughly enjoying the banter that infuses each show. It shows each host’s personality and gives some roundness to the show. The topics are varied and detailed. The research is fantastic. I love that the conversational episodes are interspersed with interviews introducing other authors and their views on both new and traditional topics in the supernatural world. I will definitely continue to listen through to the current episodes. Thanks for the fun binge guys.

Have listened to this podcast for a few months now. Really love the stories Brandon and Paul read and also when they share their own paranormal experiences. Brandon is hilarious and Paul has that very dry sense of humor that cracks me up! Also like that they support listeners who struggle with mental health issues. Intelligent, humorous and entertaining. I enjoy and look forward to this show. While I have many, many podcasts that I have loaded, this is one of the 5 or 6 I look for and listen to as soon as it loads.

Why include politics? I was so excited to came here for supernatural stuff. Please, if anyone can suggest a good supernatural podcast that doesn’t include politics, I’d appreciate it!

I just can’t stand Brandon any more. Every episode is just him retelling his experiences & useless banter. I’m convinced Paul just laughs to keep him happy so he doesn’t kick him off like he did Ian. Unfollowed officially after a couple months of skipping through 90% of the episodes. Do better guys, I know you can.

I have loved this podcast for ever but now it’s a lot of in between banter not related to ghost stories . Brennan never misses an opportunity to jab at people he doesn’t agree with. The world is already so full of things that divide us. Can’t we just unite in our love for ghost stories?

I can’t remember how I found you two but you are now my number one podcast! I had to go back to the beginning at some point and was shocked to hear Ian’s voice!! Of course I didn’t know anything about the past but I absolutely love Paul as the new sidekick!!

I’ve loved this since day one and it’s still going strong!! It’s not just about the paranormal but how Brennan and Paul always make the time to talk about mental health. I’ve had some very dark and low times in the past few years and it’s not easy to hear people talk about getting help, especially when you feel like no one listens. The constant reminders really make a difference and if you help just one person it’s worth it! Thanks guys love the show!!!
