    Love this podcast!
Funny and entertaining! Listening to them discuss and debate the latest events in Ambridge each week is a joy. If you enjoyt the Archers, you must give this podcast a try! And I also love that they don't put out an accompanying video each week, as some podcasts do. The whole point of a podcast, for me, is that I can take it with me and be entertained on the go, keeping my mind entertained while I'm doing something mundane - not glued to a screen watching people sitting in front of microphones talking to each other.

    Sunday Morning Bliss
Simply superb comfort - I’ve listened to The Archers since maybe 4 years old…now in my good 50’s in the US the ladies (and Jeff and Copper … and Maurice) entertain me with the archer’s thoughts that are bouncing in my head! Love every moment, Sunday morning then re listen for a chuckle over and over!

    Love This Podcast
This is the best Archers podcast out there by a lot. These ladies are legitimately funny, and also sensitive and insightful. Their dynamic is interesting, as Harriet really loves The Archers and tends to give the characters and plot lines the benefit of the doubt. Lucy is, at best, skeptical, and at times seems to actively dislike the show altogether. Their spirited debates are very entertaining.

    Adverts ruin it.
Absolutely brilliant commentary on The Archers. Lucy and Harriet are hilarious. The skits, with Jeff are inventive and brilliantly voiced. Matt’s music is, too, always a delight. The adverts, randomly dropped in the middle of sentences disturb the flow of the programme provoking expletive-inducing rage. It’s really disappointing and, particularly when Lucy’s reading out a listener email, disrespectful. Once when reading out a notably poignant email, it was interrupted by some sodding froggy American voice trying to sell me something. [Lynda] Quelle dommage.

    Hilarious podcast, awful audio
I so enjoy this hilarious commentary on The Archers. The audio, however, is terrible. The volume unexpectedly goes way up and then way down. At times, the sound is very muddled. Hope they get this sorted. Otherwise, very enjoyable.

The kind of show you can have a three sided conversation with
I so enjoy Ambridge on the Couch, the weekly redux of the shanans the Archers get up to and find myself either enthusiastically agreeing with their takes or shaking my head and how misguided they are. It’s about 50/50 which keeps me on my toes. And now that they’ve got the mic situation under control, it’s a total pleasure to listen to on my daily stroll. As a US based listener this is my only Archers outlet!

    Your Archers happy hour
As a Brit living far abroad, I used to listen to the Archers and discuss it with NO ONE. Now, I feel like three fun friends bring wine to my kitchen after the omnibus and hash out all the funny, moving and ridiculous bits. Best bit: How they flex their vocal acting skills to spoof Ambridge characters in sketches and asides. Hooray.

    Love this show
Harriet and Lucy and company do a great job! Anyone who suggests other podcasts about the Archers are better probably are more comfortable with the mean name calling heard on the others. These women are funny and give an excellent overview of the show. Fabulous Fabrice is worth his weight in gold. Well worth a listen. I do weekly.

    A delight
I look forward to this every week - Lucy, Harriet, Mr. Newbie, and Producer Cooper never fail to make me laugh.

    So clever
I really enjoy this podcast. I listen every week. The recap is always so cleverly worded and delivered and I always enjoy having a good laugh alongside the two hosts. Not crazy about the Fabrice bit but I love the show so much that I just suffer through it.

Hilarious and essential companion to The Archers
I haven’t been able to stop listening since I discovered this podcast. These two women have me genuinely laughing out loud - from Lucy’s hilarious round-ups of the week’s happenings in Ambridge to Harriet’s spot-on and biting impressions and Geoff’s great takes and skits - all dished up with love and affection. I’ve been an Archers listener for 25 years, but up until now, I never had anyone to share it with. I’m so thankful to the presenters for sharing their weekly take. Too funny! Keep it coming, please!

    My sanctuary
Having been an avid Archers fan for 25 years, I love the fun, teasing tone of the programme. But it’s never in a negative way. This show is my Sunday sanctuary from a busy week, I live abroad so it’s also a home comfort. Thanks, Lucy, Harriet and Geoff!

    So bloody funny
Such a great double act. So funny, pithy, self deprecating and clever. Absolutely love this podcast and look forward to listening each week, if anything it enhances my enjoyment of The Archers. Highly recommend you listen to these two very talented women.

    How to Enjoy the Archers
What’s the point of listening to The Archers? So you can fully enjoy this hilarious podcast! Thanks for the weekly summary, the uncanny voices and of course, uh…Fabrice? Febreeze? I look like I’ve just had a good laugh…because I ‘ave!

    So fun and funny
    Love this podcast so much!

I’m not even sure they like the Archers!
This podcast started off quite funny, but over time, the presenters have become meaner leaving me wondering why they bother to listen to the Archers if all they want to do is complain about it!

    Give it a miss.
Snide, sneering, snarky and childishly mocking. Two unpleasant women’s take on a show that is for so many an escape from a less than perfect world. Bringing their own special brand of negativity to other people’s happy place. I recommend skipping this and listening to The Cider She’d.

    Hilarious laugh out loud podcast
Sometimes you come across something that is so silly and charming it brightens any day. I listen to this while walking my dog and don’t care if people think I’m crazy for giggling away to myself and never quite reeling in my squirrel chasing dog enough because I’m too preoccupied with the show. Thanks for the gorgeous entertainment!

    Like a 3 Martini Lunch
You may not follow all the tales spun by Harriet and Lucy but you'll be entertained and laughing! They are my pretend best pals. That's where the martini's come in. Hey-O!

    Delightful Goofiness
Just listening to Lucy and Harriet talk and laugh about the Archers - and anything else that occurs to them - is a good time. They have so much fun, it’s hard to be blue while in their company. They’re both clever and do great impressions: Harriet’s a pro and could probably voice the entire Archers program without anybody being the wiser, and Lucy’s firecracker wit summarizes each week’s storylines hilariously. Now, however, they’ve also got Mr. Newbie - who started out asking all the questions to try and work out who’s who, who’s related to who, and why they’re all behaving so strangely - and then took it a step further by moving into Ambridge to get to know the locals personally. He also does great impressions of characters he may or may not have made up himself, and the whole group has roped in a listener from Australia to act in their little sketches (all written by Lucy). The sketches are quite funny and their version of the end-of-year pantomime (the Jan 2, 2022 episode, “Happy New Year! (O yes it is)” - knocked my socks off and felt like a beautiful, unexpected holiday gift!

A laugh and a half for archers fans.
The funniest and most enjoyable recap of the week In Ambridge. Lucy, Harriet, and Mr. Newbie bring a refreshing and hysterical take on this much beloved radio drama.

    Most enjoyable
I enjoy this podcast very much. I was feeling a bit adrift without Lucy's Week in Ambridge. Very funny

    What a Delight!
This is the perfect Archers podcast for me: good natured, honest, funny and clever. Harriet, Lucy & Mr. Newbie all bring immense talent to the table and balance each other out admirably. Lucy’s laugh-out-loud Week In Ambridge, Mr. Newbie’s heartfelt running commentary and the brilliance of Harriet’s voices are all a treasure. Keep up the great work!

    A lovely chat
That nice feeling of pouring a glass of wine and listening to your two smartest friends ramble about my guilty pleasure. I put it on Sunday right after the omnibus and it’s as much pleasure as the show itself!
  • MarshallLaws
This is like a good catch up with old friends
This is like sitting down with two friends and dishing over the last week on the Archers, skewering the ridiculous and cheering for the good bits. Perfect with a glass of wine.

    Makes The Archers Even Better!
I love, I absolutely love this podcast. It makes me laugh, it makes me think and it makes me love The Archers even more. This is the highlight of my podcast listening week. The hosts are perceptive, witty and engaging. So glad I found this podcast, recommended for anyone who loves or loves to hate The Archers. Just try to keep a straight face while listening!
