I joined this podcast via recommendation from an interview from Woman Evolve and I do sometimes enjoy the content, but I don’t really care for all the cussing especially if you call yourself a Christian. It’s pretty offensive.

I’ve been a long time listener and now a first time commenter. I recently listened to the “in my _____ era” episode and Keia’s words about wanting to want for yourself and the liberation that comes from trusting where you are in your life and that your choices do not need justification to stand is something I say to myself more often than not. This aspects of the more challenging parts of our relationships with our mothers is realer than real. This episode in particular is deeply metabolizing in my bones. Thank you Keia and Jade for what you do, your words are so rich and full of wisdom for your audience. We deeply appreciate you!

Listeeeen I used to love this podcast! I’d watch it every Tuesday night but lately it seems like Kia doesn’t let jade get a word in & it’s annoying! I know it’s probably fine in on the back end but as a listener I enjoy Jades opinion. I had to stop listening last week’s episode because jade was talking and I was listening to what she was saying and kia literally talked right over her like she wasn’t there . Even in the kitchen table, Kia went on & on & on ..

I feel like Jade and Keia are my girlfriends in my head. They let me know that it is ok to make mistakes in your adult life. And I can relate to some of the topics that they discuss in the episodes. Keep going ladies, you are doing an amazing job.

The mentoring session gave me what I didn’t know I needed. As a new director/professor at a PWI, I feel as though my Black womanhood isn’t fed. Actually, I’ve been starving. After listening to this episode, I was FULL! So much so that I could appreciate the autumnal beauty around me as I walked into my building on campus (something that I often miss). I printed out the article and will be ordering the book asap! I can’t thank you both enough for filling my cup. It’s been depleted for far too long. 💖

I’m behind but this is by far my favorite episode in a while. I thoroughly enjoyed everything from vacation recap, grandma being impressed by that couch purchase and social media “honoring” the queen. The song lyrics a fun trip down memory lane & a reflection of why was I singing these songs at 14 lol. I most certainly laughed the entire time. You two are the best duo!!

I have to admit that I didn’t love this podcast the first time I listened. By the second episode I was hooked. Now I low key hate y’all cuz I’m sitting in my house watching Married at First Sight instead of reading. I feel so left out when y’all are talking trash about the show and I felt the need to watch. This is all y’all’s fault! For the actual meat of my review, I love that y’all are authentic, unapologetic and amazing!!!

This show has been my saving grace through some really tough times. Adulting truly is the ghetto, but with Jade & Keia, it’s definitely a little more tolerable. Thanks for all you do ladies!

I just had to write a quick review. This is one of my favorite podcast. This episode took me out because I can relate to Khia and Jade just laughing at Noah’s description of these Korean boy and Girl bands😂 Every week they bring just real life topics. Love them and Bless em!

The transparency and vulnerable is appreciated because as a woman in my 30’s, I’m navigating some of these very things. This is what it truly means to “get grown”!
