I just discovered this about a week and a half ago. I’m already at Episode 49. I have a job that allows me to listen to podcasts all day and this is my new favorite. I’m a fellow Houstonian and can’t believe I had never heard of this podcast until now. Can’t wait to learn more about bbq and visit all the great places I can.

I really enjoy your podcast and was relistening to your latest bbq tour episode when my wife and I were driving back from Colorado to San Antonio last week. I tried to hit Evie Maes in Lubbock but sadly I didn’t time it right but we ate at Chopped and Sliced and that was really good. Regarding digestion issues when I was in Ft Collins I found that “Acid Soothe” chewables work really well. It eliminated my heartburn with bbq, coffee and spicy food. You guys do a great job, it is really fun to listen to!

I really enjoy listening to your podcast and all the knowledge of bbq that y’all share has really helped my wife and I and baby have so much fun seeking out the joints yall go to and also any other bbq tips to help a backyard bbqer just kinda step out of the box and really try different ways! I always look forward to your new episodes every week and sometimes when I’m at work I just go back to the beginning and listen to old episodes all day when I can to help me get through the work day! Thanks guys and the whole swag bag idea is awesome!

If you want to learn about the history of barbecue, and how it is made in this day in age, this is the barbecue podcast for you. If you like stupid jokes from hacky hosts with ridiculous mustaches, who interrupt their own interviews to brag about how much free food they got, who visit the same three barbecue joints every weekend, there are other podcasts out there for you.

I love this show. I have had dreams of opening up my own barbecue place for years and hearing this show is such an inspiration. Enjoy listening to all these people that chase their dreams. The hosts have alot of knowledge and ask really good questions, the questions I want to ask when I am listening. The show with Evie Mae and Moberg were great.

I just listened to the final episode of the whole hog road trip. I want to say that I love the podcast as a whole but I really enjoyed the whole hog road trip. I am in Virginia and I listen to a lot of bbq related podcasts and there isn't much coverage of east coast bbq. Specifically the Carolinas and Virginia. So getting to listen to your experiences and conversations with the whole hog cooks has been great. Keep up the great work.

Andrew and Bryan are knowledgeable BBQ fans first and seem to just want to share their enthusiasm with everyone they encounter, or strangers who listen to their podcast. I like how they ask questions beyond the basic stories that have already been told and have a range of topics from the two of them just chatting to the top pitmasters in Texas.

Bryan and Andrew are touching every aspect in BBQ. Every time I listen to the show I am more and more inspired to leave corporate America and start something of my own! They touch every silo in the BBQ world which makes the Podcast even more intriguing. Weather you are a BBQ weekend warrior or a full time Pitmaster you can enjoy the stories, novelties, tales and almost taste the BBQ through your speakers..

It took listening to alot of bbq podcasts before I struck gold. Some were good and some were out and out horrible but none really gave great insight on bbq and entertained like Andrew and Bryan. This podcast is seriously great. I don't know how they get so many interviews with the key players in bbq but it is a treat for the audience. Thanks so much for doing this show for bbq lovers like me.

Andrew and Bryan have about as much experience as you can find in regards to eating and talking BBQ. The podcast is not only filled with incredible insight and knowledge, but it is also very entertaining and down to earth. If you want to keep up with the current Texas BBQ scene this is the podcast to listen to. These guys are friendly and engage with and respond to their listeners. Easily my favorite podcast.

I am a huge BBQ fan and can talk or listen to people talk BBQ all day. Being from Ohio, I crave any news or discussion of everything Texas barbecue- and these guys deliver. The episodes with Bodacious and Evie Mae's show the full potential of the podcast. Also just starting my own pop-up - the guys have been extremely helpful. Keep up the great work.

Andrew and Brian are good dudes who know a lot about TX BBQ and really get around the state. They know a lot of the history and particulars of all the top places and they cook BBQ themselves. So their pretty legit. They speak well and put on a good show. Smoke on.

I originally wondered how interesting a discussion about meat could be. After a listen to this podcast, I was pleasantly surprised. The conversation about the Barbecue (both DIY & Texas BBQ joints) is the type of stuff you talk about with your buddies. But there is enough other discussion: road trips, history, and interviews to keep the conversation fresh between the BBQ visits. Keep it up guys.

Just found this pod and it's a great one for lovers of Texas BBQ- I could listen to these guys talk for hours but one warning: you'll get hungry!
