Favorite podcast ever, really inspirational and I don’t think i would be where i am at without it. That being said, Please bring this back the value of this podcast is unmatched.

So many gems being dropped every episode. Even with the re-listen you’re able to acknowledge more information than the previous listen.

This is such an insightful podcast for creatives at any stage of their careers. I’m gaining a ton of knowledge from tuning in and having the opportunity to hear from such a diverse group of talented individuals with different perspectives.

I am in the tech world and listen to many biz podcasts. As a lover of design, art and technology, this podcast not only helps me keep up with the fast changes but I especially love the world aspect of street culture. Diversity is important because each person’s culture and perspective brings a fresh view of what street culture is and what it takes to survive the business. Women/men, young/old, east/west, all colors of the rainbow... all represented. Most importantly, Jeff Staples has the most soothing, dreamy voice ever. It’s like a productive meditation session every I listen. Keep up the fab work and making a difference! Ciao

Stumbled on this podcast yesterday and was instantly HOOKED. The casual conversation makes it easy to feel like you’re at the table gaining real world knowledge from some of the best of the game!

This podcast would have been around during my high school years. As an art teacher and practicing artist I find this podcast to be a source of inspiration (and motivation). As the saying goes “real recognize real” and Jeff Staple curates this show as if it were a new design project: well thought out, engaging, and professional.

Business of Hype is a wealth of applicable information paired with excellent intimate storytelling told by people with real life experiences that are currently active in their industries. It doesn’t get any better than that. If you’re working on your craft and or building your business then this show is necessary listening. Every episode has several takeaways to add to your toolbox. I listen to The Business of a Hype while I do my homework for art school or while I am driving. This is some of the most substantial content available right now. It feels like listening to books written by these creators. If Jeff Staples had a book, I would read it, because he is so good at bringing out the gold in people. It also helps to know that the tension of business and design, isn’t only felt by some. Love this podcast. I feel inspired to DO all the time.

Staple speaks about business. His company doesn’t answer emails or the phone. They send trash product.

Thank you. To have a creative take time from what they are doing, to allow others to potentially influence their thoughts and mindset is priceless. Such a well established artist/ designer like Jeff Staple, brings in other influences and just talks to them. Dissects their thought process and even chimes in when it’s “nugget information overload. “ These lessons shouldn’t only be used for the “creative” but in day to day life as well. This season has been on fire. It’s especially helpful to hear from people of color who hail from diff economic upbringings/experiences who have all achieved success, ....a varied perspective shines through this season.

Jeff and his team do a tremendous job each season bringing curators and influencers on his podcast. He drops GEMS on here. It honestly has been very inspirational and motivational listening to everyones stories. Good to know legends in the game didn't always have it so easy. Why does it always sound like you guys are interviewing in the bathroom, Ben baller just started and the quality of the sound is superior.

As someone who works in a more traditional industry, I find that I learn something from every new episode. It’s forces me to think outside of the traditional corporate box. And at the age of 52, these lessons are so valuable. No, we know we don’t know everything.’

Jeff Staple is a great and natural host. He asks the right questions and highlights the important lessons of each of his guest’s road to success. I have an MBA degree and I learn as much or more about business from this podcast. Jeff and his team along with the guests they have, will teach you business street smarts not taught in any school! Listened to a few episodes but remain unimpressed. I don’t get all the 5 star ratings...

Being a young entrepreneur we tend to go through tough times, sales and exposure coming in slow as a start can put those with strong and creativity minds would give up. This is a huge problem for people with talent because the world would never get to see a smart person or an artist work. This Podcast has definitely showed me guidance towards not giving up. No success comes easy, these stories on how people became who they are today, each one of them had a dark start. Huge Fan of Jeff Staple, The love for Nike SB, and love for the culture of skateboarding is huge.
