This podcast isn’t just for woodworkers, the content and presentation applies to just about anyone selling something they’ve made. It’s both wide-ranging and very detailed and has definitely been a help in my business growth. Not to mention, the interviews and perspectives therein are very helpful too!

This podcast has both sides of being a Maker. It has the bones of what you need to think about by topic and the meat of “here’s how we think and what we do” and “here’s what worked and what didn’t”. I really appreciate the perspective of a ‘part time turned full time content creator’ and a ‘jumper right in full time maker who also does content’. They’re not afraid to talk about failure, *their language is clean*, and they have the experience to back up their content. AND BOY IS THERE CONTENT. They don’t waste time getting to the crux of their topics, and they do a great job of exposing their thought processes instead of telling you exactly what to do. Great job, Guys!

I really enjoy this podcast, right? It’s really helping the way i approach my business, right? However, it is REALLY annoying how often these two use an unnecessary rhetorical “right” after every other statement, RIGHT? If this were a drinking game, we’d all be dead.

Awesome content and very well spoken. These guys are true pros when it comes to woodworking and social media. They explain the ins and outs of how to set up IG and run a successful business. I’m only on episode 3 but I look forward to catching up and learning more.

2019 is my year to move my woodworking hobby into a business. To be able to go back in time and begin listening to Made for Profit when these awesome guys launched would be amazing...for now, though, I get to listen and take notes and search for specific questions I have in the moment, rather than wait a week for the next episode. I feel like I’m getting a practical business degree for free! Awesome content!

I am fan of the podcast and being a small wood-worker myself I continue to get a ton of info and real world tips, tricks and knowledge, but Brad, you are making the podcast difficult to listen to...You continue to talk about yourself when you ask a question to your guest and ramble on and on and on about things off subject. John asks really good questions and listens to the guest story and dialogue. I am sure you will have some excuse or ridicule for me on my page, etc....but it makes the podcast difficult to continue to listen to, if you can't realize you may need to rethink how you overpower the podcast and your guests with not well thought out questions and or responses...may need to research your guests a bit more to ask better informed questions.

The title of the review my seem like click bait but it’s true. I’m a hobbyist with a full time job and just bought a 1930 built fixer-upper. I may not take their teachings and put it into practice this year with all going on but thanks to them the seeds are planted. Thank you both, Brad & John, for the awesome content. You guys provide a phenomenal free service to me that I’m very grateful for. This is an incredible show with two guys who give straight advice. They acknowledge they are not the one source for everything but give you the impetus to grow and constantly research and expand on their philosophies. With their advice you can make this a career or just make side money by doing what we all love to do now during nights and weekends in our workshop. Oh, and if you don’t care for their advice they have interviews with established businessmen/makers who can give you the insight. Keep it up guys.

I’m about 5 episodes into this and I gotta say that I don’t think I’ve heard an ounce of negativity in anything presented. Brad especially exudes positivity, it’s a boost to my day and a refreshing change of pace in life. All that aside, the information being shared is spot on. I’m a digital marketer with years of experience in social platforms, everything thing these two are saying is great and relevant information! Looking forward to getting caught up on the whole show!

I too am a maker and content creator and I have seriously just binge listened to about 12 hours straight of this podcast starting on episode 1. Brad and John don’t claim to be experts at all but share what they have learned (and are still learning) about creating a business focused around making stuff and creating content. My advice is to soak up every last bit of this VALUABLE free information because I have paid a lot of money for a LOT LESS useful info. Keep up the GREAT work guys!
