eccloveWonderful and interestingEvery episode that I have listened to has been meaningful in one way or another. Today, I listened to the interview with Daniel Humm. His story and words gave me chills and Kappy asks all the right questions! Thank you for continuing to share beyond the plate!

Alessandra CiuffoA MUST LISTEN FOR ALL FOODIES!!This show has been truly such a joy to listen to and I couldn’t recommend it enough! As a totally obsessed foodie and prospective chef, I was so excited to be able to get in on these open and organic conversations with leaders of the industry. Hearing the background and come up stories - both good and bad - of some BIG time chefs such as Wolfgang Puck, Marcela Valladolid, Marcus Samuelson, Jet Tila, Giada De Laurentiis, Rachael Ray, Guy Fieri, and even impressive restauranteurs such as Danny Meyer and Josh Capon, opened my eyes wide. It is largely in part of these stories that I have decided to launch into my passion for food and attend culinary school!!

EMAC 24Foodie? Or just someone that eats? Listen!!Love all things food and thrilled to stumble upon this podcast. I was in the service industry from bus girl to bartender that spanned off and on for 15 years. Now I enjoy all kinds of dining...fine to formal and all in between. Love Kappy’s interview style, lightning rounds and hearing from chefs and restauranteurs that I know and love to some I am just learning about. WARNING...it makes you hungry and want to sit in the kitchen and taste test all the yummy food that is talked about :). Great work!! Erin

Tfox3276Love this podcast.I’ve loved every podcast so far. I just listened to Alex G and the way she described her food, her life, everything is amazing. I found myself tearing up at times. I’m such a dork but it is so true. Rachel, Giada, Tom C, Michael S...the list goes on. It’s so interesting to get a glimpse into what their lives are and were like. To top it off, every guest on this show gives back in big ways. If only I was younger, I’d have definitely gone in a cooking direction. I’m at the point in my life that I’m ready to relax a bit but still love to cook at home. I’ve never even been to any of the restaurants they talk about but many are on my bucket list. But the giving back part? I do that and so should everyone! Thanks Kappy and all your guests!

KJxCPCan't Get EnoughReally interesting stories from personalities I thought I "knew." Hearing the real side from a friend (in Kappy) is not only interesting and reavealing, but also many times inspiring. Episode 005 really spoke to me and made me think of social impact and how it can creatively be integrated into any business if you're willing to think outside the box. I get excited with each new episode. Keep up the good work!

Dc6211Beyond the plate - my favorite new podcast!Listening to this podcast feels like pulling up a chair to the most interesting dining room table in the world. Do you like shows that showcase how and why the food industry's most successful people are so passionate about what they do? Me too, and there are several of those. This is unique (and special) because it shows you how your favorite (or soon to be favorite) folks at the top of the industry go beyond the pate and combine their passion with a purpose. Thanks Kappy and keep doing your thing!

ENM5617Behind the scenesSuper interesting to hear stories about their lives in first person. What got them to where they are? Who inspires them? What do they love to eat? It's great. I can't wait to see who is next.

J1JABARBeyond the Plate/ Rachael RayThis was an awesome podcast...very informative, but more importantly, very intimate. Rachael always seems approachable on her various television programs, but this went beyond that. This podcast also seemed as if Kappy and Rachael were in my house talking to me...reinforcing the intimacy comment. Kappy, among your many talents...and there ARE many, you are an outstanding interviewer. You ask great questions, treat your "subject" respectfully, ask probing follow-up questions and create a a really comfortable, fascinating program. So enjoyable!! I have always liked Rachael, own ALL 22 of her cookbooks, but after this interview, (if possible!), I admire her even more!
