I get it. Universal is building a lot. Disney is and has been huge. Quality over quantity. Universal is pure screens. I am sick of this Disney hate just based on what Universal is doing. Yawn.

I have been listening to this podcast to prepare for our first trip to Orlando parks. It was super helpful for getting a feel for each park as well as all the ins and outs. Planning out every detail of your trip is impossible. But by listening to the podcast, I found myself very well informed so that while we were on the trip, I could make the best decisions for our family because I had so much research in my brain from listening that I knew many of my options as well as when to pivot from plan A and what things to consider in plan B.

This has been a go to Disney podcast for a long time. I appreciate honesty, but much of the news and reviews are marred by negativity. Obviously we want to know if something is actually bad, but many times something that just isn’t something the hosts like, it just gets trashed. The biggest turn off though, is the constant discussion of corporate issues. Some of these are worth mentioning, but if I really want that information I’ll go read an article with actual information and not Jared’s opinion. Disney means a lot of things to a lot of people, and to me it brings me great joy when I plan and travel to Disney World and somehow this podcast makes me sad. There is still a lot of good information and content, but then bottom line is: a Disney podcast shouldn’t bring me down.

I look forward to the weekly podcast full of news and travel tips. This podcast was very helpful to me as I was planning my first WDW trip as were the Trip Tales episodes- I love that there are so many ways to do Disney! Jared and Jamie give honest and practical advice with a humorous spin - a must listen for anyone planning a trip to WDW.

I love listening to Cap the Magic in between Disney trips to keep away the Disney blues! I am always caught up with the latest news and enjoy listening to everyone’s trip tales! The best part of my week is a new episode!!!

I just completed my first Disney trip in 25 years. I had not been since I was a kid. I had NO idea where to start, and CTM was the biggest help in planning our stay! From the super helpful resort episodes, to dining and shopping. I cannot thank you guys enough for all of the gems that helped to make this trip everything my daughter could have hoped for as her first Disney experience! We are over the moon and can’t wait to go back.

I love this podcast! I started listening to Capture the Magic Podcast after going on my first Disney World trip. I love listening the the trip tales and updates all things Disney. I love to hear Jared and Jamie’s opinions about the different topics.

I’ve been listening to this podcast for about a year now while I walk at the gym (getting fit for those long park days!). I love how balanced the discussions are, that it has information about the business of Disney AND practical tips and trip reviews. If you love Disney but need more than “Top 10” lists or basic information, this is a great podcast for you (but it has those things too!).

I started listening to this podcast when my husband and I booked our trip for March back in September. I have listened to every episode since then. They are so informative and fun. I can’t wait for my trip, but listening to them scratches that itch and is tiding me over until March!

There’s a lot of Disney podcasts, but this one is a great one. There’s so much info and I loved listening to this prior to my recent trip. I was able to feel confident and enjoy because I felt like an expert!

This is a staple podcast in my weekly rotation. Being a fellow Florida resident, I find the insights and tips very helpful. I love Jamie and Jared’s genuine nature and enjoy their back and forth.

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite podcasts. The format, information, and relatability are what draws me to them. Being from Missouri, their stories about traveling to and from WDW are so relatable.

Been listening to CTM since they first got going and have continued to do because of their honest Disney opinions, the show structure and the personalities that come out in both hosts. This show is a must listen for anyone ahead of their WDW trip, whether you go multiple times a year or once every few.

I have been listening to this podcast for about 4 1/2 years now and joined club 32 a couple of years ago they are such a wonderful couple and bring so much joy to others and they’re hilarious. The community they've built is nothing short of amazong and is great for Disney veterans and newbies alike!

This is my favorite Disney podcast and the only one that I listen to every episode. Jared and Jaime are so relatable and easy to listen to. I rely on this podcast to keep me up to date on all the latest Disney news. I also follow along in their Facebook group which has a great community of people with a lot of Disney knowledge.

Jamie’s trip reports are fantastic and I will miss them. I just can’t listen to Jared’s degradation of his wife’s opinions and ideas. He’s so smart and she is so dumb we get it Jared. They’ll say “he’s a great father or whatever” but that doesn’t give him the right to make Jamie feel small and insignificant. I wish you the best Jamie.

Tried listening again after taking a break and wanting some more Disney content. I was trying to be fair to see if my previous thoughts and opinions were unfair and tried to listen to a few episodes and nope my opinions were still accurate. Jared is a terrible person and a misogynist who seems to talk down to his wife and thinks he is funnier and more important than he really is. Do not waste your time listening or support of the type of person Jared is.

This is a must listen for me every week! I love hearing the news, their tips, and what they were up to in and around the parks. I also love their banter! I’ve also never been to Universal, but plan to go in the future. So it’s also been a great way for me to familiarize myself with Universal’s offerings without needing to research. Thanks for putting on a great show, Jared and Jamie!

Love this podcast. The hosts have younger kids and it’s so nice to listen to a Disney podcast where they can talk about how a family with littles experiences things. Started listening during the pandemic for the company and do not miss an episode. Love that they are honest about things they do and don’t like. Trip Tales are a favorite I’ve learned so much.

Trip reports are so fun to listen to. Full of great ideas for your vacations, and Jaime asks great questions and keeps them fun and informative. The shows with Jared are just an hour of him complaining about Disney... skip those.

Really hard to hear the male voice…trails off and barely audible at the end of each sentence. Not much talk about things to actually DO at Animal Kingdom. Just going off this one episode, haven’t heard any other Capture the Magic podcasts.

Jamie and Jared are the best hosts! They’re extremely relatable and hilarious. Their podcast is the best mix of news, tips, and reviews. Definitely the best around!

They are so negative on the podcast. Every time they spoke about going to the parks they were monotone or seemed put out with the idea of going. I don’t get the purpose of having this podcast if you don’t love Disney or get excited about Disney. Tried to give it another chance but 5 minutes in and they are already complaining about Disney. Just change it to a universal studios podcast at this point

I’m super picky about my podcasts, and Capture the Magic is one of two that I cannot get enough of. Only wish there could be 2-3 episodes per week! Trip Tales are my favorite, but Jared’s sarcasm and acerbic remarks often elicit lols. 💫

While I love all the Capture the Magic Podcast offerings (Jamie and Jared's rapport is lovely) I tune in primarily for Trip Tales. I am planning my first trip with my girls (currently 2 and 3) for 2023. I love love love all the shows, such a wide range of tips and tricks learned from others' experiences. Thanks for making my Mondays magical and helping me get over my Disney blues/withdrawal between trips. Also, so helpful to hear about Jared and Jamie's own experiences with their littles, as I've only ever planned adult paced trips personally.

Found CTM back in 2019 when we were planning a big Disney trip. Course 2020 happened and things derailed but we have another trip in Dec 2022. I rely on CTM to help me plan and to keep up to date on all things Disney.

Great show focusing on Disney. I love the variety of topics and the great tips the show provides. My family and I go to WDW at least once a year and have a really good knowledge base on the parks, resorts and restaurants, I still feel like I learn something new each week from the podcast. Over the last year, in preparation for my families first Disney trip this October, we have listened to this podcast. This podcast has been a great help in understanding the various aspects of Disney and the different ways to enjoy the parks and resorts. I cannot say enough good things about this podcast! They really help you learn the ins and outs of Disney World! I have been listening to this podcast for about four years now. My family only travels to Disney every 2 to 3 years so a lot of things can change in that time. On our most recent trip my husband said that I was like a Disney expert because I knew all of the secret tricks to making our vacation amazing. I have this podcast to thank! I’d been looking for a good Disney podcast for a while but wasn’t able to find one that I really enjoyed and waited for. When my mom told me about capture the magic, I at first didn’t listen because I didn’t have apple podcast. Finally I downloaded it and I’m happy I did! It is for sure my favorite podcast that I wait for. My favorite episodes are trip tales!
