The very first episode that I listened to had a listener as a guest, discussing his relationship with his wife and how they came to have an open marriage. I was so impressed with the host’s questions, that matched a lot of my own and I found it extremely interesting to hear the guest’s side of the lack of communication and how it eventually grew within his marriage. I am not in an open marriage and am not sure I would ever be comfortable with one, but I found several useful tools from that conversation for my own relationship! Thanks so much

I like the topics and subject matter, but there are too many interruptions (ads) and they’re inserted in the middle of sentences. I understand the need for ads, but for chrissakes do a break set and insert them there. The way it is now it gets annoying.

The Mansplaining episode will het buried with torches and pitchforks from a certain group but makes for some very entertaining discussion!

I wanted to like this podcast but this girl is dumb. She’s full of herself and I’m sure she looks opposite of what she says she looks like. She also contradicts herself a lot. The concept of the podcast is there, she just can’t hit the target. Definitely wouldn’t recommend at all. Look up the horny house wife.

Love how open and honest Layla is and how she really opens up on topics a lot of other women would shy away from. Her journey from the beginning is fascinating and watching her, as well as her show, change over time is equally as fascinating. That’s what keeps me going back for more.

The beauty of this podcast is that the host was willing to take a risk, followed her curiosity, desire and impulses and shares her experience in a candid unapologetic way. She is always looking for new ways to explore and engage and grow through the process. If you are already down for explicit sexual details this is for you. If it makes you uncomfortable maybe try something else first. Stretch yourself - give it a listen.

Layla is such a comforting soul. She exudes transparency and self-confidence which are two things that are missing from the world today. Her show is not only provoctive but also informative. I was intrigued by the title and have become a big fan. Layla is highly intelligent, a great interviewer hugely informative and exciting good fun. Listen in, you will greatly enjoy her authentic engaging and fun sexy commentary.

After going through the Apple Podcast offerings that pertain to sex and sexual health from an informative standpoint “Layla” is one of the best. And I mean that by way of comparison to some of the top widely renowned authors, doctors, and therapists on (varying) matters and concepts of sexual health and activity improvement. Going though the Podcast “store” I placed nearly all related podcasts (not Layla’s; from ALL podcasters on the subject) into my library for trial listens and to pair down. Just can’t listen to everything. And thank goodness, because some I quickly removed after very partial listens of a chosen first episode. Having already ‘saved’ many of Layla’s episodes that are relevant to me, I played the first one… I chose Episode 220: Putting Out for Your Partner. And that was SO on-point, SO hard-hitting and well-articulated (from a woman’s point of view, thank God!!) that I was riveted. And like modern streamed TV series’s, the way one begins instantly after the other finishes and that is key to getting people to ‘binge watch’, I allowed it to just roll into the next episode, following the order in which I had saved them. By the time I had listened attentively to four or five episodes I knew I had found a good one. As Layla says to begin each episode, “This is not appropriate for the workplace, nor for anyone under the age of 18”. I’m paraphrasing. But if you are like me at all and are eagerly hungry for knowledge, learning, and making your partner addicted to you and your ever-improving expertise at being their best lover, THIS is a great resource. Largely because Layla also gains access to great resources and shares them with us.
