TherealXLEGreat sales podcastI have been in the professional supply chain/procurement industry for 15+ years, and transistioned to the sales side in the last 5. John Barrows is very knowledgeable and keeps it real about selling. He brings on real life, succesful individuals who, not only challenge sales viewpoints but, can provide real life situations in which they have been applied and work. The insight that John and his guests bring has been advantageous while taking customers on the purchasing journey. Glad I found this great source of sales counsel. MAKE IT HAPPEN!

Joel BeinAuthenticity for the winWhat’s so refreshing about John is that he keeps it real. In a world with plenty of noise and phony branding, John drops in and shows up just as he is, which is of course what an effective salesperson does, too.

A@1!Good content but interrupts the interviewee too much! The content is great but we want to listen to the person being interviewed, please quit interrupting

Rwmcd2Awesome content and so easy to listen toI’ve been listening to JB & the Make it Happen Mondays podcast for over 4 years now. He always has great guests and topics, and I actually build his podcasts and articles into my training curriculum for new reps and SDR’s. It’s great for seasoned sellers, or brand new SDR’s.
-
The other nicknames were takenMake it happen MondaysFantastic insight for individual sales people and candidly even better for people leading sales teams. I can’t recommend it enough to colleagues and friends.

dwforburgerSenior Enterprise Account ManagerI have been in sales for over 30 years. I started listening a few years ago on the recommendation of a sales leader and I was instantly hooked and happy when there were a bunch of past episodes I could binge! I hope you will get a kick out of this seasoned salesperson still learning every day. Ours is a profession. We should treat it as such.

SupdohgggggSo goodJB keeps it real and is quite possibly the best voice in sales right now. Keep it coming man!
-
juicyK987Pretty entry levelThis is a maybe a decent resource for new salespeople. It stays pretty surface level so you’re not going to get insightful perspective that really gives you a-ha moments. From the episodes that I’ve listened to, John does a lot of the talking vs. letting his guests share their expertise. A lot of listening to respond instead of listening to understand and dig deeper.
-
kingATLxoGreatI really enjoyed this show!!

DGbadger29Selling Skills Game ChangerAbsolutely MUST listen to this if you want to up your selling game! Daniel MarrazzoFive StarsI came across this podcast almost by accident and I'm glad I did. If you need to sharpen the saw, want a bit of motivation, are looking for entertainment, this is a great podcast to listen to. John offers a ton of advice but his connection with guests really drive it. Give it a listen and you'll subcribe before the end of one episode. Keep up the great work.

TeamSizzle#2Great for reps and managersJohn came to our annual sales meeting about 9 months ago. When I found out he was going to be leading the training section of our conference I started listening to his podcast to familiarize myself with who he was and the likely content we would be digging into deeper. I haven’t stopped listening to his podcast 10 months later. John offers such great real world experience through his podcast and invites guests that have great experience in sales. As a sales manager, I have used different episodes to help with reinforcement training following our in person training and I have also been able to use themes from different episodes in my 1-on-1 coaching with my reps. If you are a rep - listen and implement the tactical techniques provided in Johns podcast. If you are a manager - keep you skills sharp by listening, implementing, and coaching your reps based on techniques offered through this podcast. This is undoubtedly a podcast that gets weekly attention in my schedule.

Jason D. BayGreat podcastI was recently a guest on John's podcast and am a big fan of his Make It Happen Mondays Facebook community and the content here on his show! Definitely recommend anyone whose a sales rep or in sales leadership to check it out.
-
Scrappy MalloyGood for beginnersJohn has a great passion for sales and his sales training business is his life. He’s a great thought leader in the space. He has a good framework for prospecting and how to conduct yourself on the phone. Lately I’ve noticed that a lot of the content is geared towards beginners (1-3 years inside sales) and maybe sales managers at startups looking for answers. Sometimes the guests are a little boring and John seems to be in a bad mood when he interviews.

Desi FlynnYour loss if you don’t listen. If you’re in sales and looking to hone in on your skillset, check this podcast out. If you don’t, it’s your loss. Cheers!

HenryDeEssential listeningJohn is a no nonsense sales and leadership advisor. He talks about immediate and actionable things you should be doing everyday to grow as a sales person, leader and human being. I listen every week for his wisdom and insights. I would recommend this podcast to anyone involved in sales.
-
JsrskyDecent, for beginnersTypical “sales coach/consultant” who has a lot to say with interesting/questionable experience; he has more experience selling his coaching than other platforms. His online platform is great for someone who’s never sold in tech, medical field, or relational/non-transactional sales. Might be great for a BDR/SDR/LDR/MDR. Props to him for making money and marketing himself without having half the experience of most AEs or Directors.
-
ABetterJonesSoak up the wisdomJohn is a straight up sales genius. He also happens to have more morals and ethics than nearly anyone else in B2B sales. He manages to have swagger and bravado, while also coaching sales professionals on how to have integrity in their field. Listen to this man and all the people around him. You’ll learn, grow, and be wildly entertained.
-
DeMicheleJim DeMicheleReal and to the point is how I describe John and his insight
