These guys flow. They are very knowledgeable on all things Ohio State. I travel a lot, and it’s a great podcast to stay up to date on what’s happening. I would love to hear the host’s opinions on if Ryan Day does his backup quarterback a disservice each season by limiting what he can do when he gets in a game. When Kyle McCord did get in last year everyone including the officials knew it was going to be a hand off. I know Day is trying not to run it up, but I do think it limits development.

These guys do a great job. They know their stuff and you can tell they are friends outside of the podcast. It shows with the friendly banter and their unique and genuine sense of humor. I listen to a lot of Buckeye football/sports podcasts. This podcast is my favorite. The other Buckeye Huddle Podcast Network podcasts are at the top of my list too! Keep up the great work and GO BUCKS!

If half the pod is going to be ads , at least adjust the sound to where the ads don’t deafen me when they come on. Or just keep it the way it is, maybe I will enjoy being deaf.

Solid content if you can get past the first 10 minutes of Tom and Tony inside jokes. “Welcome to the buckeye weekly podcast, I’m Tony Gerdeman, with Tom Orr. (Tony talking) Tom…three minute pause…how are you?”

Maybe start taking ad money from those folks that sell prelubricated pocket catheters or reverse mortgages.

If you want to hear Tom belabor the same point over and over again only to be shut up by ill timed commercials, this is the podcast for you.

Content is great. Need to improve audio quality. Sounds like they are whispering at highest volume. Hard to listen to when outdoors.

I really like these guys, but the discussion is starting to get so unremittingly “cute” and “witty” and “funny,” it’s verging on unlistenable.

Tony and Tom are top of the line reporters ..they have very good analysis for all Ohio state football/sports topics .. As podcasters though , lots of times it feels like they force the issue to be funny ..and they have push it way too much with sarcasm that you start losing the point of the discussion and they keep it very frequent on the pod for almost every single topic they discsuss. I wish they would keep a good mix of well timed sarcasm and not force the issue very often . I respect their work and just hope they improve on this aspect .

Great stuff again guys! I have a theory on McCall and I’m wondering if he’s plan now is for after football and he is wanting to be a coach. The position switch is interesting but if he was ever going to play it needed to happen 2-3 years ago, but by switching he exposes himself to concepts and techniques and makes him well rounded as a coach. Also gives an answer to why he hasn’t transferred because where are you going to learn more or be exposed to better coaches and resources than OSU. Curious if you agree at all or if that’s dumb.

Tony and Tom always have insightful information to share, and have a great wealth of knowledge of Ohio State football and tradition. Perfect balance of information and humor, and each episode is not too long or too short. Kudos guys! Keep up the good work!

I enjoy the dry humor and sarcasm. Ohio state Fan since 1979.

The constant snark and sarcasm is just way overdone. They don’t seem to understand nuance or balance. Many times, it’s like they are doing a bit for each other. I’ve listened for a long time, but starting to prefer to go to other places (4 to 6 and Buckeye Talk) where it’s a tighter and more informative presentation.

A great podcast that is a can’t miss for me. I always get great info and a good laugh. Not too short and not too long but there are days that I can listen or watch on you tube for hours! Excellent job guys 👍🏽

This is far and away the most entertaining and insightful OSU podcast. There’s never any awkward moments filled with buzzwords to fill the silence. It’s obvious these guys are great friends and can converse from beginning to end. I also appreciate that I can hear them clearly and there isn’t weird echos or differences in sound quality between the two mics. I look for this podcast to pop up on my feed before anything else and you should too.

Loved the show and buckeye scoop but now Gerdeman is posting pictures of Laura Ingraham and a distorted picture of Elmo on Nov 10th making fun of trump voters. I assumed there wouldn’t be any politics affiliated with BuckeyeScoop. I was wrong; just another media company co-opted by the far left

Thanks for making me smarter

I love OSU football and subscribe to all mainstream podcasts in the matter. This is constructive criticism. Your presentations are all over the place and sometimes difficult to listen to, usually at the beginning. The first 5-10 minutes have been or can be banter between the hosts. When it finally gets down to original opinions and content, it’s good. Again, please use this constructively.

One of, if not THE, best Ohio State football podcast out there. Great info about what is happening in and around buckeye football and Tony and Tom are great to listen to. Love the dry humor

Entertaining listen

...do you really need 2 minutes of intro and exit music? I'll answer for you- no, no you don’t. It’s stupid. At least change up the song once in a while if you’re going to play DJ as part of your podcasting.

I love all the buckeye pods, but this one makes me laugh the most.

Best Buckeye podcast hands down. If you value OSU football insight paired with intellect and the right amount of humor, you’ve come to the right place.

Love the podcasts, been listening to Tony and Tom since I was in college. Always consistent, with great conversations to get through you a long drive to work or through an annoying cardio session.
