Like Taking a Trip Back to My Youth
I just got finished listening to two episodes (TGUK and Rich Egan/Vagrant). They were excellent! It was amazing to hear the stories behind some of my favorite songs from TGUK and how Vagrant became a powerhouse in the punk scene. Great job! 5/5 stars!

Digging the behind the scenes look
Thanks for bringing back some of the stories of some great bands and digging into the local music scenes that started so many of them. OCHC / NYHC scene produced some incredible music and amazing band both from the hardcore and punk sides of the house. Love the podcast!

A love letter to the genre
These dudes came up with the same scene I did. It’s fun to hear them talk about the albums from that late ‘90s/early ‘00s era that I never really got into from people that I respect and relate to on so many other fronts. It’s cool to look back on amazing older AND newer bands and records while also picking up some new ones along the way.

    The Host Understand Punk Podcasting
These guys get it - they make it about The listener and the audience not themselves. This podcast has a great format and the evolution results in continual improvement / they are not afraid to get diverse, touch albums they might not have a nostalgic connection to and just cover the scene in general including past and present. They are not pretentious and do not push an agenda to further their “street cred” in the scene - it’s refreshing to get objective reviews mixed with personal feelings - if you like punk or a time frame or subcategory this is the pod to gain perspective on other aspects or sounds - they shoot straight so even if you don’t agree with the opinions or reviews you will respect them

    Love this pod.
Started with the Mae episode then went to Artist in the Ambulance; two of my favorite all time records. It’s short, sweet & to the point. Looking forward to the rest.
