I just discovered Durinda’s podcast and love it! She has some very thoughtful things to say and it is SO encouraging in my stage of life (56 year old mom with two teenage boys that homeschool). Most importantly, she always points back to God’s word, love, peace, provision and soverignty in all we are going through.

So much wisdom in so many areas! This podcast has been such a blessing and very instrumental in changing my perspective on so many things.

In this culture and day in age, it is difficult to find someone so biblically sound and biblically relevant who is talking about these huge and important parenting/ homeschool topics. Durrenda is experienced and God-honoring in her speech with clear communication. I look forward to each new episode and LOVE this podcast!

Today, I listened to the episode with Durenda and Abbie Halberschadt. I was so encouraged by their words of wisdom. As a homemaker and homeschool mom of Littles, with no extended family or friends in the area, I find myself experiencing some truly hard moments more often than I would like. Their words reminded me that God has a purpose for this season and is teaching me to trust in Him while I wait for “our village” to surround us with love and support. Their words also encouraged me to keep my hand to the plow and be faithful in the small things.

This podcasts has literally been an answer to prayer. Durenda’s wisdom, knowledge and biblical guidance has been beneficial in my walk with the Lord. Her voice is so calm and so easy to listen to as well. I reference this podcast often in my homeschool community.

I absolutely love your podcast and your encouragement. I just thank you so much for serving the Lord in a way that helps others, while we grow our relationship with Him. I have been listening in for a while now and you’ve helped me on so many different levels, just hearing from a woman of God seasoned in many different areas. I just finished the last episode about grief and loss during the holidays and I just want to say, you sharing the details of the waves of emotions you felt after losing your grandson resonated so much with me. I’m 2019, I had 2 separate stillbirths. In April we lost my daughter Serena and a few months later in October we lost my son Vincenzo. Shortly after, my father in law was diagnosed with cancer and went home to the Lord in January 2020. I then went on to have another loss, my son, Luciano in January 2021. It has been a whole lot of heaviness and waves of grief and pain. Holidays are still so painful and this was exactly what I needed to hear and be reminded of. I thank the both of you for sharing your pain and encouraging others. God bless you always!

I’ve been listening for several months and finished reading “The Four-Hour School Day.” Such practical Biblical wisdom for marriage, parenting, and homeschooling with no end! I am 25 and my husband and I have been painfully asking the Lord to grant us the blessing of children. He was homeschooled with 5 siblings here in ND where we live, but I was public schooled in southern CA and lived with just my mom and sister in not really a true Christian upbringing (my situation is too long to share here). I wish I could do life alongside you and learn from you in person. I am like a sponge soaking in all of your episodes! Thank you for being willing to serve the Lord in this way by helping us “Ruths” raise our children in the truth of His Word, in His ways, in His rest, and by His grace. May God richly bless you!

I always find comfort in each of the episodes Durenda releases. I tell friends she’s like the amazing aunt or mentor you wish lived next door. The topics are varied and yet always seem timely and relatable. She provides Biblical truth and encouragement along with practical and applicable information for our daily walk with our families. I would recommend it not just for homeschooling families but any Christian mother or parent. I appreciate the life-giving and uncompromising truth woven into every episode.

A lot of this podcast feels like she is just boasting about her perfect 8 kids and what a great job she did raising them. Some more honesty and sharing of failures would be helpful.

Such an awesome podcast for encouragement in the homeschooling journey…specifically if you are new to this journey as I am. I have read both of Durenda’s books on homeschooling (haven’t done the devotional book yet but would love to). And I so so so appreciate Durenda’s sound Biblical teaching woven throughout all of her podcasts. (PS- Durenda! Go back to the previous intro music….it’s much more “unhurried” compared to the new music 😉).

I’ve been listening to Durenda’s podcast pretty much since it first came out, and I can say without a doubt that Durenda is an absolute God send to me!! She gives biblically sound advice that can be applicable to any mom listening. She has such a peace-filled spirit that brings you peace as you listen to her. She gives you the confidence to follow God’s leading for your family, and I couldn’t be more blessed by listening to her podcast every week.

I have decided to homeschool both my boys (ages almost 4 and almost 2.) I was on the edge about it but my heart wanted to homeschool and after discussing with my husband and giving him a ton of facts and real life experience stories from this podcast we both decided this was the best path for our family. I absolutely love listening to each podcast and look forward to each new one that comes out. Thank you for all your encouragement and support in this new journey of homeschooling.

I LOVE your latest format for the devotional podcast. I listened while I was fixing dinner. And I am planning on re listening, during my devotional time in the morning. My mind is so very tired these days, everything is so noisy. Even the well meaning podcasts. Just listening to the Word being read isn’t a new idea, but I love you, your heart, and ministry.
