I am going on my first Disney Cruise in January 2025 on the Wish. I found this podcast and it has so many wonderful topics and tips. Wes thanks for sharing all of your knowledge ❤️

Wes has an infectious spirit and joy that weaves through each episode. His smile can be heard as he recounts family trips on DCL and reacts to his unique guests tales their DCL vacations. His episodes are very informative for first time cruises while still being entertaining for those of us seasoned cruises who just love to revisit the DCL magic.

Wes keeps it fun and light hearted while being honest about all the topics. By far the best podcast to get all DCL news, updates, and hacks!

The DCL Dude Podcast is by far the best Disney Cruise line informational podcast I’ve come across. After listening to one episode a few years back, I decided to book my first cruise on DCL with Wes. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable about the process, but he makes suggestions that will get the most out of your Disney vacation. We are now on our fourth sailing and are coordinating our fifth. Wes, the DCL Dude, directs his podcast like a Cruise Director on your favorite specialty cruise! His enthusiasm and excitement for sharing Disney Cruise experiences with as many as possible is absolutely unmatched. Just like any great Cruise Director, Wes lines up unparalleled talent in between his staple trip reports. The talent ranges from cast members, imagineers, Disney historians, and guide authors. But among all those are the charming trip reports that are a staple of his podcast. You will also love the way he lines up great “activities” throughout your podcast sailing in the form of “drafting” your favorite ship and discovering itinerary drops. Wes is by far our favorite Cruise Director whenever we are planning our next trip!

Wes is so likable and informative! He is courteous, kind, and his love of Disney Cruise Line shows! He is knowledgeable and willing to share all his tips! Great to listen to if you have a trip coming up!

So I listened to two Disney podcasts, the DCL dude and the DCL Duo. The fact that Wes had on Brian and Sam from the DCL Duo was absolutely awesome! These are only two DCL podcasts I listen to and to get both of them in one is just icing on the Disney cake! Thanks Wes

The podcast is great. Lighthearted, fun, and very informative. A must listen for any DCL fan, or those curious about DCL. I also just booked a cruise with Wes! That experience was so easy. Once I became interested in possibly bringing the family on a cruise I started my research. Started out with 3 or 4 podcasts on the topic and after a few episodes of each it was clear that Wes was the best at delivering the information in a digestible and entertaining way! I went all the way back to the beginning and now I feel like an expert without having ever been. Looking forward to booking our first cruise soon thanks to Wes and the pod!

I love this podcast because it’s not only about Disney cruise tips, reviews and news. Wes goes deeper into all things Disney cruise with history and first hand knowledge with people that were actually involved with its development and current and former cast members stories. My only complaint is the episodes can’t come out fast enough 🤭.

Wes constantly brings interesting DCL topics and entertaining guests to his discussions. He’s a savvy host and great interviewer as well! Some of my favorite episodes are when his wife Alyssa joins him! The DCL Dude is the only podcast I regularly tune in to and look forward to new episodes!

This podcast is a great mix of trip reports and up-to-the-date news on Disney Cruise Line, various Disney vacation experiences and other cruise trips. Wes is a great host who knows the material very well and asks smart questions and great follow-ups. The flow of each episode is just perfect and the guests that come on provide a truthful and honest review of their cruise and vacation experience. I’ve also enjoyed some of the special episodes that may include trivia or special guests who are connected in someway to the cruise industry.
