I was introduced to Alvin when he did a guest segment on Wine & Crime. Dudes hilarious. I migrated over to Affirmative Murder soon thereafter. Love the dynamic between Alvin & Fran. After listening to a few recent episodes, I was hooked and had to go back as far as I could to binge.

You were on Morbid so I thought I would check you out. You guys are doing a great job. I’m a fan and I’m hooked. You guys crack me up. I love your perspectives on different topics.

When I pause Stephen Colbert to be entertained and educated by Affirmative Murder.. that really means something. Props from a day 1 listener. Keep it up 👍

I think it’s a bit alarming how opinion (specifically Alvin’s) can be stated as fact by him without any actual research or data to support. This is something that doesn’t sit right with me because any person listening could take it as truth. There needs to be more research and grace put into this podcast because there’s been some very harmful rhetoric. I don’t see much comedy in this podcast but more so an opinionated news cycle. There have been several cases with limited research and instead stuffed full with opinion, mostly Alvin’s. Really hope that some changes are done.

I’ve been listening for a couple years now. I love this podcast. It’s informative and hilarious. The freaknik episodes had me crying. The friendship between these guys is real and I’m here for it weekly. Congrats on your successes both personal and professional. You are amazing.

So I don’t listen to podcasts much anymore, but my best friend recently told me about listening while doing things around the house. She was telling me how she’s listened for YEARS (don’t know WHY) she just now told me about this! But today, struggling having the energy to cook dinner…. I decided to open the app and the first episode was still sitting on play from when i told her i would listen weeks ago… first episode being wakanda forever. NGL; it finished dinner with me and made it to the room. I’m finishing the second episode and now the 3rd episode is now starting at 12:44am! I’m ADDICTED. You guys are absolutely amazing and although I’m upset i didn’t start listening when you guys started, but i am absolutely here to stay. I am slightly grateful I was this late bc i can absolutely binge listen. Thank you so much for the amazing content. I have no complaints so far and wouldn’t even voice one until i make it to fall of 2024 anyway lol. But thank you so much. I feel like we friends, and although I’m just a goofy girl… i feel like I’m hanging with my homies. Thank you both for being personable, respectful, hilarious, and most of all yourselves and unique. This is such amazing content. I can already tell this is going to help me through a lot !

They are very diverse and thorough in their coverage and can make you laugh. I can't remember how I found this podcast but I've been listening ever since.

i first started listening with my mom at work, she’s a big fan and i quickly saw why. the podcast great, funny yet very informative and serious when necessary. learned a lot so far really love their alvin & francel’s chemistry and how they cover cases definitely one of the best podcasts i’ve listened to. for sure my favorite true crime show

Fran an Alvin are my new two favorite murder podcasters. I love their back-and-forth banter, hypothetical situations, and their overall chemistry. This podcast makes my days at work fly by while I listen to them talk bad about killers, stick up for victims, and put themselves in hypothetical “if that was me” situations. This is just overall a very enjoyable podcast an I look forward to every episode they put out 💯❤️

Terrible research on the topics. But the podcast is good. I usually don’t like banter but Fran and Alvin have good chemistry.

After listening to a recent podcast where Affirmative Murder guested broadcast on another show, I started the back catalog this week. Already thru the first 30 plus episodes. Alvin and Fran are great. I can already hear a difference in the podcasts. I am impressed by their approach and humility when approaching topics and corrections/feedback. I can’t wait to dig into the rest of the back catalog to get up to the present.

I enjoyed your visit to Morbid so I came over and listened to your most recent episode “Bronx Bullies” and thoroughly enjoyed it, even though the topic was heartbreaking, you did a great job telling his story and discussing it! I usually like to go back to the first episode when I find a new podcast and just binge it while I work (I clean houses all day, 7 days a week, so I tend to blow through podcasts quickly lol) but I know podcasters hate when people listen to their oldest first since you grow so much over time so I decided to hit up your most recent episode first! Was recently introduced to this podcast after they guested on one of my favorite podcasts. When this happens I usually like to start listening from the beginning and work my way up to the latest episodes. I’m so glad I did. These guys are hilarious and I actually look forward to listening to the next episode after I finish one. I’m only up to episode 30 in less than a week. But keep them coming. I must say it’s funny that one of the worst things about the show is also one of the best things about the show: when they read their prepared stories. They fumble around a lot, but I have come to love this, because they just roll with it and then the magic happens when they riff off of each other. You can tell they have been friends for a while and I find myself laughing out loud at their comments like I’m sitting in the room with a couple friends who I get their sense of humor. Amazing show and you have earned a life long listener. I was going to write a random nonsensical statement attached to five stars as was requested in early episodes. But I had to write a meaningful review. Even if it’s based off of your earlier episodes. I can only imagine how good it is when I make it up to your most recent episodes. Great show and great work.

32 minutes into a 50 minute episode they STARTED discussing a case. I tried few episodes trying to skip though, but your banter isn’t entertaining

Discovered this podcast after listening to True Crime Binge. I was hesitant to listen because I don’t typically do 2 hour podcasts, I prefer 1 hour max. But I give a pass to these guys. It is funny, interesting and insightful. My only issue is I pray Alvin can find the period one day soon. His inability to come to an end of a sentence is amazing.

Alvin’s tv and movie recommendations are always on point!!!!! The pod is pretty great too!
