claw lamontget to the pointwas interested in the info each episode purports to offer but it’s mostly the host ts bling about herself interspersed with ads. i don’t care how her hair looks, she needs to focus on the topic or convert it to a personal podcast.
-
unsubscriber123Huh??Did Lindsey seriously not know that Mount Vesuvius is in Italy? She actually thought she made up that name? Is this the same girl who said she should just get a job at Goldman Sachs and make $300k because shes having an identity crisis? She sounds very bitter being the breadwinner and having to push through with a podcast that’s irrelevant bc her husband has yet another failed startup.
-
Jenna FlFavorite podcastI’ve been listening to we met at acme for a few years now and it is my favorite podcast. I listen every week! Lindsey is an amazing podcast host who is very open minded and great at facilitating conversations with a variety of guests. Listening to the podcast is like having a conversation with my best friend. I’ve learned so much great relationship advise from Lindsey and cannot recommend this podcast enough.
-
kayd7Thank youThanks for todays episode. I feel like it was so much of what I needed to hear right now
-
paneirbfifibJust straight up bad advice“Don’t go to a kid’s birthday party if you don’t have a kid”? Literally what. I am single and hope to be married with kids one day, but that’s not going to stop me from going to my friend’s child’s birthday party? That’s just making the divide even greater. All the advice on this podcast is outdated, misogynistic and just bad.

torrii 818Great dating podcastVery honest, comprehensive dating podcast out there. Her Instagram surveys are so much fun daily. She’s so inclusive also of every kind of relationship and her advice is universal. If you’re struggling dating in this generation (who isn’t in today’s world?) , you can learn how to navigate and have fun with it to find what you’re looking for. More importantly, you’ll learn how to be honest with yourself and find happiness in the process. It would be nice to have more diversity when choosing guests. It’s cute when it’s New Yorkers. But I’d love to hear about dating from millennials / gen Z from different ethnic groups, religious backgrounds / socioeconomic classes / backgrounds. Might be interesting to consider! I like that she’s lighthearted and not judgmental at all. She literally shares secrets with us like we are in her close inner circle. Without filtering herself. She also constantly says that she isn’t the end-all-be-all and has made many mistakes herself. What more do you want? Ha
-
ClairePDX12Truly the worst adviceListen to this podcast for the entertainment not the advice. Because her advice is truly the worst. Telling young moms to exclude their friends without kids from their kid’s birthday parties? Insane.
-
killuaswife010101Islamophobia, racism - xenophobiaShe has proven time and time again that Arab lives (and Asian lives based on that weird spiral she had about her nanny) are worthless to her. She only cares about white lives! Linds, children in Gaza are suffering. Do only white children matter to you?
-
Laura G35Love it!Love this podcast! Especially the mom coverage transition!
-
supersuengEmpty dribbleAnd what was the racist rant about her nanny, who probably is removing herself from a toxic employer?
-
OodsmcnoodsUseless podcastYou can tell she has no media or comms or journalism training and has not taken the time to fine tune the craft of being a podcaster. Her post-marriage brand is all over the place and misaligned with her original branding. Her solos are now a waste of time and essentially a trauma dump for her. She says “like like like” nonstop. Her questions to guests are clearly not well thought out either. Just useless waste of my 30 minutes. Her podcasts are beyond cringe now.
-
SCSU5577Went downhillBegan listening in 2019, really enjoyed this podcast. It’s gone down hill past year and now is so un relatable. Content is super out of touch. Haven’t been listening like I used to. Find the episodes hard to get through.

banananabanananaDon’t waste your timeClassist, racist, and unlikeable

ManuevenMixed feelings but solidAlright, this will not be the typical review since I’ve only used this podcast and it’s vast topics to talk with women and make my way into them in the bedroom. Fellas, use this podcast to your advantage. The old saying goes that a fish can’t teach you how to catch fish, well… they can sure give you bait. That is all, thanks for what you do 🎖️
-
emilyb12394Solid adviceSuch solid advice about dating! Empowering for women and gives great advice. I think a lot of what she talks about is exuding confidence and putting yourself and friendships first in dating which I love!! Love that she shares her life and journey in motherhood a bit too. Good balance of the two. Some comments are iffy, so I stopped listening. For example when it comes to money, host always links dresses and clothes in the THOUSAND dollar price range which is extremely out of touch for young people in their dating years, nobody is asking for those. And just some strange comments about what you HAVE to spend on wedding gift etc.
-
jagelzabobRelatable contentI’m single and 25 and STILL love this podcast!! Those saying it’s changed don’t understand that people evolve and develop over time and so do their topics! Loyal listener and love hearing about the momma content for when it’s my time (years from now)
-
Steve Drives to BurgundyFantastic InterviewerLindsay is an amazing interviewer - thanks to her a 3 hour and 45 minute drive zipped by in no time. My wife and I love listening to all of these episodes!
-
Plato PartyGiving animal abusers a platformUsed to love the pod (and still do except for below) and Lindsey until the episode when she featured abhorrent human being lily walla, who no one had never heard of before, but who I learned on the pod is a PROID animal abuser and horrible parent who put her poor baby dog down after she failed to train and supervise him appropriately (who leaves their dog alone with their child, even the gentlest dog?! What is wrong with you?!) then stated “dogs are just animals, we’ll definitely get another one day”. Just absolute trash. Can no longer support.
-
alicia555555Show has gone downhillThis has become almost impossible to listen to. I used to enjoy it. The host lacks self-awareness to an extreme degree and shared her opinions as if they are facts. She should do some actual research before commenting on things instead of just spewing her opinions. She lacks expertise and credibility- unclear why she has a platform. The most recent episode talking about how you obviously want to be the better parent compared to your husband was honestly concerning - who sees that as a competition? If you are lucky to have a spouse who is a great parent, isn’t that a wonderful thing for your family? She seems very self-centered, immature, and spoiled. Either get some more people with actual expertise to interview, do more preparation before your episodes, or retire this show!
-
Jse04Not as much abt dating :(I wish this were more relevant to dating still. It has definitely changed as the host has changed I wish she’d stick to topics from prior as that’s who she targets?? Maybe not and it’s turning more into the “we met at baby”. Make a choice and advertise as such.
-
Maxamill8973Dude who loves itI’m a guy and I usually listen to business podcasts but I got into we met at acme from a girl at work and I’m hooooked
-
JtwpppLove the solosI love hearing from Lindsey! That’s why I started this podcast in the first place and I want more solos and just more episodes in general. It’s the only podcast I consistently listen to
-
Rosemary237Not a dating podcast anymoreI used to love this podcast for all the dating content, but it seems like all the episodes are about kids and being a mom now. I get some people may like that, but Lindsay said the podcast wasn’t going to turn into that yet it has.
-
Applepods23566YikesLindsay is severely lacking in the intelligence department but thinks she’s smart, which is a dangerous combination. The vast majority of her dating advice is terrible- it’s not backed up by any relationship research and is frankly quite toxic for women. Everything is based off her one and only dating experiences and she is incapable of understanding that nuance exists. She is truly vacuous and cringeworthy to listen to.
-
jbw9105-stars!This review is for Zachary and Zachary only 😘. More mama content please!
-
AriannaShiningStarThe best!Lindsey is the big sister I never had 🫶🏼. Always the best advice, delivered honestly and hilariously, and in such a relatable way! *Supporting Zachary too* 😏😘
-
cookiequeen_101Unintelligent and not nuancedUsed to love this pod but I’m very over Lindsey’s interviewing style - she follows a list of questions and always relates it back to her rigid list of rules. I would love to hear more about the guests she has on their podcasts and their expertise or work, instead of “so what do you think of having sex on the third date” or “should you say thank you after a date”. It’s dumb and repetitive, we’ve heard your rules a million times. I do like hearing her personal stories bc she’s very vulnerable and shares a lot about her life and growth. Her life updates at the beginning of the pod are wayyy more interesting than the cookie cutter interviews
-
LidsuanThis podcast is amazingI am shocked there are any negative reviews! This podcast has been consistently great since 2017 and I met my husband because of her advice!
-
Satisifed Bride to beA piece of advicePlease take this host’s dating advice with a grain of salt. As a therapist listening to this podcast for entertainment purposes, I find myself concerned for the type of advice given here at times. This type of content can be what creates insecurities and rumination in relationships that will eventually lead to other conflicts.
-
julianam💕Good guests!Good guests and fun content- an easy listen!
-
Cutegirl678902platforming a known stalker and abuserlong time listener and lover of the pod. used the rules to snatch my now husband. I'm really disappointed she gave a platform to colton after what he did to his ex.

Amy AmmenLove “We met at birth”Don’t have a maternal bone in my body. I’m 59 and loved Linsey sharing! Aloha, Amy
-
shiwasahaLoved once but unbearable latelyI came across the podcast a few years ago and used to love listening to it but lately, it’s been brutal. I try so hard to listen every week but for instance, I could only get past the first ten minutes today before stopping because it was that cringeworthy. - Her interviewing style has become very rigid. Lindsey tries to a stick to a specific list of questions instead of having an actual conversation with her guest. Her guests bring interesting perspectives sometimes and she lets opportunities for thoughtful back and forth go to waste. - Unless you disagree with her. Then it’s her way and you are in the wrong. - Lately it’s been all about me, me and me. In every single interview, she relates it back to herself or tells an unnecessary story wasting valuable time with the guest. We don’t need to hear your answers to every single question - that’s what solos are for. - Her advice seems increasingly catered to college kids which may be her audience predominantly.
-
Lovely Lady LydiaLaidback, Easy Vibes and Different PerspectivesLindsey, congrats on the birth
-
Hon Pon👏🏼Lindsey! I started listening to your podcast earlier this year. I started with the most current and just now finished your first episode. I always put your podcast on when I’m getting ready, cooking, or just feel like I need comfort. You have come a long way since the beginning. You always say you love a good debate and I have to say there are some episodes I skipped. But, I never lost interest in your podcast. You are killing it! I look forward to having Sundays to listen to the podcast!!!
-
Tech monster123My wife and I love the podMy wife and I love to take trips together today she looked at me and said I still like we met at acme the most :) five stars
-
irene112641A weekly stapleAlways look forward to Lindsey’s podcasts each week! She speaks on such a wide variety of topics and brings on diverse guests each week. Her interviews and commentary are so genuine and insightful. Recommend for anyone looking to improve themselves and grow their relationships!

nicoletolliverShe will do any ADI cannot believe there was an ad this week on natural diamonds being better economically and environmentally than lab diamonds. This is the most out of touch ad I have ever heard. Like do your own research before just accepting money. You sound dumb. To state that mined diamonds help impoverished communities it actually disgusting. It promotes child labor and it’s very dangerous. Another out of touch influencer.
-
LaurenLanzo5 year fan of the showI love Lindsey I’ve been listening to her since college. She asks the best questions and has extremely interesting guests ❤️
-
SamHunt97Be careful listening to relationship advice ….Be careful listening to relationship advice from unqualified individuals on the internet.
-
ag1279Look Forward to listening every weekI look forward to listening to this podcast every Sunday!! I’m obsessed
-
carmax14Great weekly listenGood perspectives shared and Lindsey is an excellent interviewer. Not every guest is my cup of tea, but that’s how a diversity of guests goes! Recommend for any typical single girl or anyone interested in learning more about relationships.
-
Jamie___lynn__mNot goodI’m not sure what qualifies this girl to give dating advice…she’s like 30, married, sober and pregnant. She’s pretty boujee and out of touch and not relatable. Not a fan.
-
Lovely444!Good but a bit close-mindedI enjoy listening to the episodes and a lot of it has been helpful for my dating journey. However, I think that Lindsey should interview more people who are from outside of NYC, and more LGBTQIA+ folks. A lot of the advice is centered around the experiences of straight Jewish people who grew up in wealthy communities in NYC. While I do believe that everyone has important opinions and thoughts to share, I think that the listeners would benefit from a wider variety of perspectives. The dating and relationship world has a lot of nuance and is not one size fits all. I understand that a lot of the listeners are in NYC, but the advice might be more accessible/relatable to a wider audience if it wasn’t as centered around the dating scene in NY.
-
in memory Albus DumbledoreI loved thisThis is a wonderful podcast
-
nm2670👎🏻This girl loves to talk about herself. Nothing valuable here. Unless you are interested in her personal life with her and her husband. Also not sure why she posts outfits on her stories people aren’t following her for fashion. Very confused who her target audience is supposed to be.
-
EB_91lindsey is great - ppl need to chill outhave been listening for years and love the way the podcast has evolved. to the folks who are saying lindsey is intentionally excluding different perspectives - lindsey is speaking from HER personal experience. if this doesn’t resonate with you don’t listen! no podcast can be everything to every person. lindsey does a great job facilitating interesting conversations and finding great guests.
-
Laura MarilynSo incredibly disappointingWhat even is this podcast? Shannon was on so I gave it a try, but the other episodes just focus on a woman’s worth relying solely on whether she’s married to a man. So simple minded and hetero focused it’s obvious she excludes queer women because she doesn’t value them. It’s 2023, go learn about feminism or something. Being married to a man shouldn’t be your personality trait, it’s pathetic 🙄
-
donnaruth789A good roadmapThis has honestly turned into one of my favorite podcasts! I’m honestly baffled by all the negative review because they claim that Lindsey’s rules are too black and white but it seems like it’s them who can’t consider nuance. You should always take advice with a grain of salt and only use what works for you so I don’t really get what the problem is. A lot of women feel lost with modern dating and need a roadmap. This podcast gives you just that! I’ve been really down in the dumps about dating recently and since I’ve provided some much needed structure to my dating life (courtesy of some of the rules) I’ve been enjoying the romance of it a lot more.
