Been following you guys forever and am a huge fan. This past episode you guys tear Demidov down but he’s the best player in the class, he’s broken kucherovs records. You guys hate Seth Jones but want a Russian version of him in Leshonov. Hate on the OPPs all you want but sometimes you guys sound like you are the OPPs.

Who remembers the early 2010s? I sure do, hawks were top of the league and my wife and I were madly in love. I was happy, strong, and confident with a body like Patrick sharp. We honeymooned in Chicago during the 2013 cup final. Life was good. Then the hawks dropped off a cliff along with my mental health. I stopped working out, started drinking, and instead of sharp in his prime, I looked like Hitchcock today. My wife had enough and threatened to leave, she couldn’t be with someone so depressed, so fat, and so unemployed. But then right when things were at the darkest, a new GM rode over the horizon on a golden stallion, and not long after Kyle davidsons steed dropped him off on the throne, Connor bedard was drafted. So much hope, so much promise, so many young exciting prospects. I started getting excited to wake up in the morning, I’d wake up early and go for a run. It wasn’t easy, but I was turning back into myself. My wife fell back in love with me and moved back in from her parents and even let’s me see the kids again. All this hope and positive change in my life stemmed from the news of a real rebuild in Chicago, and that news was expertly reported on this podcast. If it wasn’t for the top notch writing on the site, or the killer podcast that expertly breaks down hawk news I don’t know what would have happened to me. I might even think about getting a job soon. Thank you for saving my marriage and let’s go hawks!

If you want a bunch of surface level opinions and a ‘Blackhawks’ podcast where all they do is complain about the Blackhawks with no actual depth outside the box score then this brain dead podcast is for you. Save yourself the time and brain cells and listen to the madhouse podcast or laz and powers. This entire group constantly agreeing with the host get old in 10 mins.

Host is absolutely clueless when it comes to hockey. This is bad guys. Just pack it in.

If you want an accurate analysis of the Chicago Blackhawks this is the place to find it.

Great Hawks Podcast!

Simply put, these guys get it. They tell things HOW THEY ARE. If that’s not what you’re looking for, you’re not a real fan. No unrealistic takes, no false hopes, no junk. You want honest Blackhawks talk and analysis, this is THE podcast. Period.

Level-headed Blackhawks talk that isn’t fan boy hype. Jeff and John go deep into the organization. Highly recommended!

Anyone not on board with these guys is in denial and should go find a puppies and flowers podcast. These two have been covering the team for a decade, and have seen both the ups and downs of the Blackhawks org. They inject a little fun with occasional sound clips to break up the talk. Mario does a great job with his IceHog reports. This is real honest Blackhawks talk. No political nonsense, just a team of writers that will give you the honest truth, not irrational hopes and dreams.

Guy is a missable piece of garbage. If you suggest Jay Zawaski or the Faxes idiots, that just goes to show your awful taste. Guarantee he is a fan of the trash fire that is now Blackhawk Up and their loser fraud of a former leader

As a transplant now living in Kings and Ducks land, finding ANY Blackhawks news is difficult let alone anything reliable. After several tries in online groups where it's mostly homers sugar coating everything and wanting to hear NO negative comments, I have finally found my salvation here at The rink! A Jabroni and meatball free zone where they tell like it is. Good and bad, no apologies. Insightful, honest, and funny too! I look forward to every rink cast!!!!

One of the guys is kind of a positive buzz killington. Also Len ner not LAY ner. However these guys have good assessments that aren’t emotional rants so they’re one of the best pods to listen to

Every episode I listen to again and again. Their analysis are super insightful, fair, and honest. The hosts are really passionate about the game of hockey, and are dedicated to brining you the most useful information during discussions. I have learned so much from these guys. I can’t hit that play button fast enough when a new episode is released!

A MUST listen for all fans of the Chicago Blackhawks! Highly entertaining, and well worth subscribing!

You guys really need to polish this. I get that most podcasts are produced in someone’s basement, but this one makes no attempt at hiding it. Fix the background noises and microphone issues. Also, you might want to look up the definition of overreaching vs overarching, lest you you use them incorrectly. Finally, do you really think rambling on for 90 minutes is a good idea? I stopped listening after about 40.

Love the content. Hard to listen to, especially with earbuds, due to all the background noise.

They are the muppets Statler and Waldorf of Blackhawks fandom. I have been following Mr. Jaeckel since his hockeybuzz days and was always a must read. Love the drops and there since of humor. A must listen for any Hawk fan.

If you want tell it like it is Blackhawks coverage, these are the guys to listen to. They are plugged into everything hockey. AHL,ECHL, USHL, NCAA you name it they probably cover it. Keep up the great work guys and thank you for what you do.

All the boys that contribute to the Rinkcast each bring a different perspective and voice to a great team. The thing I love most about the podcast is the honesty in the discussion. I’ve spent many midnight shifts and car rides being enlightened by Mario, gate, and John and I can’t be more thrilled. I’ve looked for an insight to my Hawks for quite some time. The high bonus is the metal that became coupled alongside it. I’m astounded by the thoroughness of player evaluations, raw opinions, predictions, contract breakdowns, and free agency chatter. Keep up the excellent work boys. I look forward to this 2019 hockey season with you. Best of luck

Jokes aside, this is your one stop shop for everything Blackhawks. John and Jeff have a great discourse, and are able to cover a range of topics in under two hours. They’re both students of the game, and are able to apply that to provide an unbiased and unapologetic point of view on the state of the team. They cover everything from prospects to what’s up around the league. One of my favorites, for sure.

I like the hour long episodes, less fluff more substance. Also a true honest hockey analysis. Let’s go Hawks!

Honestly the best and most consistent Blackhawks podcast out there. They tell you how it is and have a real insight into the game. I enjoy every week I tune in! Keep it up guys!

This is a good podcast for Chicago Blackhawks fans. They do a good job breaking down the games and honestly and accurately reporting on the teams performance.

Although it would be nice if one of these guys hung out one night with Sharp this podcast is easily the “People’s Champ” of Blackhawks podcasts. It’s real. Add this to your podcast arsenal.

I stomped on to this podcast episode 2 and I found it was awesome. Keep it up fellas. Go Hawks. This last episode featured a call out to Demon Hunter which I’m a long time fan of their music was the icing in the cake.

“Scoops” Jaekel and Mr Goalie are fun, informative and enjoyable to listen. Followed them over from the shoutcast. If you want in depth analysis, and good prospect reviews check these guys out. 5 stars

Gatekeeper and JJ are phenomenal. That's Jeff Osborn of Puckin Hostile and John Jaeckel of HockeyBuzz for those unfamiliar. The show brings you an informed and enlightened look at the game. If you're looking for meatball "rah rah" or "doom and gloom", look elsewhere because these guys are pros. Looking forward to many more episodes.
