KikibeekiAmateur underwater wolf359It’s basically wolf359 but not as good. It’s got potential but it suffers from an unoriginal plot and annoying characters. It’s not absolutely terrible, so still worth a listen. But don’t go into it expecting the same quality as wolf359. Actually it might be better if you haven’t heard wolf359 yet, you wouldn’t be able to draw comparisons.

Richard KLOcean Cryptids and Fantastic CharactersIf you're looking for aquatic cryptids and the story of four very different women thrown together in a quest to solve a mystery, this is the show for you. It's a fun, easy listen with fantastical elements and lovely sound design, writing, and acting.

Linny.JNot goodScript and acting is cringey, and the story lines are boring and predictable.

KarenslistFunI want more. This is easy listening, there is an underlying plot still waiting to be told. Reminds me of a silly sitcom. Really enjoyed it

@Tessa_M_KGoofy and full of heartA submarine expedition of women sets out after sea monsters, but who actually knows the real story behind it all? The character interactions are excellent and the exploration of lesser known lore is just delightful. The dynamic of the younger/sillier “twins” playing against the salty captain and suspicious Eastern European doctor (the “adults”), is something I could listen to over & over again. Fingers crossed there’s more to come!

Kjara42Did not like itThis podcasts reinforces the worst cliches about women in charge and women working together. The commander shrieks and yells at her crew, her crew cries, they bicker. Couldn’t listen past episode three. I really wanted to like this😕.

mommymadsFun, creativeBut the sound design/ editing could use some work. The random shouting and bantering with volume pitching up and down is distracting from the story.

eleanorbLove it!Love the series! And I especially loved the “Absent-Sea Ballot” episode. The characters, the stories, the music, the amazing quality... It’s a great podcast! Like I do with every fantastic podcast, I just wish there were more episodes.

Deconstructing DamselsSea MonstersA strong narrative with an all women expedition that involves sea monsters, personality conflicts, and a mysterious benefactor that seems more than slightly evil. Some parts remind me of Stargate Atlantis's stellar women leaders, like Weir, and other parts remind me of Enchanted. I'll leave you to figure out which is which! Definitely a fun drama that's easy to catch up on. Worth the listen! Can't wait to see what happens next.

L.D. AlvarezAn aquatic fantasy adventure in the spirit of Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the SeaAmazing acting, great writing, the perfect blend of comedy and fantasy drama. The characters are loveable and relatable. The audio drama world benefits from this particular #ladypodsquad. I'm looking forward to more adventures with the Rusalka crew!

AylaTaylorI love it!I just love the idea of some people going around in a submarine looking for sea monsters. The characters are so charming and the dialogue is fun. I can't wait to hear more!

Done Full StopTo Adventure!I thought a wonderful entry would be “If H.P. Lovecraft were muse and advisor to the nautical department of Goddard Futuristics, this would be the result.” Lo and behold, there is a reading of Lovecraft in episode three! How serendipitous. Plenty of spookiness and secret agendas to keep landlubbers enthralled. A must listen.

ShoMarqSEA MONSTERS!A fun, all-lady crew goes looking for sea monsters and I couldn't be happier about it. We need more sea monsters! I'm looking forward to their adventures. The acting is lovely, especially the commander's VA, sometimes the editing has too long of a pause in conversation, sometimes dialogue is unsure or doesn't flow well. Definitely by episode 4, creators and performers have gotten into their groove! There's only 4 episodes so far and I have high hopes about the rate of improvement and awesome so far.
