    Informative and funny
I recently started to door dash due to my small business ( pet sitter and walker) being slow. I searched for door dash podcasts and it came up with gig workers list. I saw your podcast and gave a listen. Whelp you hooked me and I started with old to new. I love it and you guys/ ladies are awesome! Thank you for the tips and laughs.

    Info-tainment. Heavy on the “taint”.
It seems like the hosts of the show have enough gig work experience that they could share information or tips that would help new to moderately experienced gig workers. But it feels as though they consciously choose not to. Instead, you just get a bunch of surface layer, warehouse style water cooler talk. Nothing really funny or entertaining. It sounds like the hosts don’t enjoy doing the podcast or that it’s a chore. Also, the majority of the stories or information has been in circulation for several days before the episodes drop. Lastly, they operate in the same circles as many of the Youtubers in this genre. As a result, you get a lot of the same boring guests.

    The average Rideshare trip.
Hi driver, what’s my name? Ok can you take me and my 8 friends in your Honda Fit? Thanks, we just came from the Soup and Coffee convention with a bunch of tasty souvenirs. All windows down, we’re all chain-smokers. We’ll be having 3 different conversations and we’ll all shriek when we pass a Taco Bell, demanding that you go through the drive thru because we paid for the trip so we basically own you. Ooh just a quick stop at the liquor store cuz it’s only like a mile out of the way from my house, come on. And can you drop some of us off 10 minutes down the road? Thanks for the trip, 5 stars for sure. I’ll tip you in the app!

I learn to you guys all the time. I’m a driver from the Jacksonville Florida market. I’m also a merchant seaman.

Too US centric and very narrow
The podcast is generally okay. It is however very parochial in its overall approach. The show hosts are ostensibly very US centric, with scant understanding of how the gig economy operates beyond America. Keeping political debate out is part of the problem as well. Not too well informing!!

    Super Entertaining & Informative
I’m hooked. The guys deliver on all the up-to-date 411 with humor. Highly recommend to any gig worker, especially those doing ride shares and/or deliveries.

    Too boring
These guys waste so much time before they get to what the episodes are about. Makes for boring episodes.

    My Go To Gig Podcast
Formerly the “GR Rideshare Adventures Podcast”, now the “Gig Economy Podcast”, is a weekly favorite of mine. Jason does a great job hosting the twice monthly Wednesday evening podcast. Always insightful, light-hearted, and informative. If you are in the Gig economy, check this podcast out! ✊🏼✌🏼

    Love the podcast
I am a ride share driver from Phoenix/Scottsdale Arizona. Found you guys in Apple podcast. I searched and searched for an Arizona ride share podcast to no avail, and it appears there are none. Anyways I am grateful I found yours as it’s very informative and absolutely entertaining. Keep up the awsome Job!

    Best podcast
You don’t need to be from Grand Rapids because this is the best podcast for a rideshare driver to listen to. New or experienced there is always information to learn. I listen to every episode and it really helps me make the most out of driving.

    Good listen
I always try to catch the show live or on the website so I can see the video, but either way this show has been very helpful for me as I’ve learned some of the ins and outs of ride share driving in my city. Keep up the great work!

    Very entertaining
I enjoy listening to this podcast very much. As a fellow rideshare driver, I can relate to so many of the situatiions that are discussed. I like hearing how other rideshare drivers operate. I admire the camaraderie that the GR drivers have developed and hope that I can create some of that in my market. Thanks to all involved with this podcast for sharing your experiences.

    Great show
Jason and Ben provide great insight about the profession and invite new guests on the show regularly to talk about important issues like driver safety, how and when to drive to get your best ROI and what to do in order to get high ratings and stay active on both platforms.

    Good podcast. Need more intro
I’ve been enjoying listening to your podcasts but it would be helpful if you gave some tips to new drivers. How did you get started? Which days/nights don’t you miss? You mention the airport a lot but if you’ve never done it before like myself how should I approach it? I do enjoy your stories though
  • Jason Tieri
