stenellalongLove the geek out informationI have learned through listening to each episode of the podcast, but really enjoy the deep dive geek out episodes. They provide valuable information on the physiology of the horse and methodology of horse keeping. This podcast tries to provide information in a way that is not casting blame or trying to shame anyone. The information is provided in a straightforward manner and the information is based on sound science of the whole horse.

smarmosetLilly LudwigIt was wonderful to hear this interview with Lilly. My favorite part was listening to how honest she is with herself and others. Thank you both for sharing your thoughts! It is comforting to hear that others are walking(or riding) the balance between themselves and their horses as they listen to the horses’ perspectives. Thank you again!

chooseysusiLots of great topics and guests going unheardSound quality issues. Saddens me as I’ve tried to listen numerous times but end up frustrated with not being able to hear speakers consistently. Would love to listen in on these valuable topics.

neekah57So much information!I found this podcast about a year ago and it has seriously helped me so much in my horse journey. It was so nice mucking stalls listening to this, getting ideas for my day with the horses! I LOVE the fact that Alexa is so science based and knowledgeable but she integrates it perfectly with the energetic and spiritual side of horses as well.

Allie MidwestHas changed my horse life!Finding this podcast helped me make some major shifts in my own relationship with my horse that I was intuitively seeking, but hadn’t found support for yet. It has connected me to horse-people that have been transformational and helped me feel less isolated. I have learned so much and feel part of a community. Thank you Alexa!!

Kara Santa ClaraI learn SO much hereI’ve been listening to Alexa’s podcast for a few months now. I learn so much from every single episode. I’m a holistic practitioner for humans and have had a hard time finding others with similar perspectives in the horse world. Alexa brings them right to me! I love her approach and especially her infectious laugh! Thank you for sharing your experiences, your wisdom and your kindness Alexa. It’s very much appreciated 🐴💕

PETRAFRANCEGreat ShowHello, I am a South African PATH international certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor. I live in France at present, but still am a me ever if the Kwa Zulu Natal Equine Assisted Learning and Psychology Association, a group of professional practitioners within the TR, EAFL and Psychotherapy. We got together a few years ago to have monthly meetings where we discuss all matters pertaining to our field. Our absolute mandate is that the horse is at the very core of our association. We now have zoom meeting s on alternate months which means that those of us who are not “home” can attend and contribute. Currently we are reviewing ethics within our practice. I am very happy to have found this podcast and would like to ask you if we may play it at our meetings and perhaps even ask you to talk to us at one of our zoom meetings. It will be lovely to hear from you

StarLetterLunchGreat infoI read the other review of this podcast and had to double check that I hadn’t written it and forgotten about it because that review contains my sentiments exactly. I love that people are talking about the whole horse and how we can see horses as horses and not just tools to win us ribbons. This mindset shift is so important for the horse world and the time is now. Thank you and please continue sharing this information!!! On the negative side, I will have to agree again with the previous reviewer who said that the laughing on the audio is SO loud that it is painful. I’ll turn it up so I can hear, and then the laughter will just start booming in my ears, so I have to keep changing volume. It’s awful, frankly. This could be remedied with better editing. This is such important information for the horse world... I hope we can continue to have this conversation!

woejfoakebtLove the podcast but...I have loved listening to a podcast that I identify with so well when it comes to horsemanship! I love that you are sharing a newer, and frankly, better, way to work with horses and are able to share info from industry professionals who practice what they preach. My only complaint is the audio quality—some guests are difficult to hear, and whenever someone laughs into the mic, it is SO loud and painful, and I’m always having to turn up and turn down the volume multiple times during the podcasts. Please fix the audio and this would be a 5-Star podcast!
