    Be a Better Trial Lawyer
As a mom, wife, trial lawyer, and law firm owner my free time is limited, but I always make time to listen to this podcast because in 20-30 minutes Sari offers advice and insight that has helped be be a better trial lawyer and live a better life. Sari you are a BAD MAMA JAMA and this podcast and everything you are doing is 100 percent making the practice of law and life as a trial lawyer better for us all. Thank you for all you do!

    Inspired
Sari I cannot wait to hear every new episode. You inspire me and fill my cup when I need it the most. Thank you so much for believing in what we do and reminding us always that we change the world one case at a time. It’s about the fight and I’ll never quit! I gave a rebuttal closing yesterday and absolutely choked up with tears when I stood before the jury after the defense lawyer said he was just doing his job and so would I on rebuttal when I called him out in his lies. I remembered what you said - that it’s okay to show emotion and yes cry! I stood up and said this is not just a job, as my voice cracked and my eyes filled with tears. This is not a joke or something to make light of. People died and it’s only you that can say - No, not again. Not on our watch! I’m waiting for our verdict and so scared to let this family down. But I know we fought with everything we had using your method. Thank you thank you! Dawn Smith

    Fresh & helpful content
Here’s the thing about this podcast, I’m not great at listening to them regularly, but when I listen to it, it ALWAYS ALWAYS applies to something I’m dealing with that very day!! That is how relevant this content is! Without fail, it applies. For example, I was struggling to encourage a colleague and Sari’s podcast to the rescue with “How to Overcome ‘Not Good Enough’ Syndrome” - perfect timing. And great content (see Ep 244 people!) Not only is it relevant always, it’s fresh and entertaining. Listening to Sari is fun! It’s not “school” but I’m learning! It’s also challenging in a great way. Challenge to consider mindset, a challenge to have fun, a challenge to the idea lawyer work is boring. Highly recommend - unless you’re my opposing counsel in which case, this podcast is terrible. 🤣🤣

Career and Life-Changing All at Once
Have been listening since Sari started the pod because I thought her grasp of the problems we face in jury selection is dead-on. But she has been taking her insights to even more profound levels lately. Her recent episodes on Time and Money would be useful for anyone (lawyer or not), but they struck me as the best career advice I have ever gotten. The best trial lawyers in the country are following Sari for a reason: she has us figured out and wants to help us realize our dreams.

    Top Notch
Sari delivers can’t miss content for Plaintiffs’ attorneys willing to forget what they think they know and try something that sometimes feels counterintuitive. For those willing to take that risk, they will be enriched with the knowledge of someone who has spent over a decade helping top tier attorneys hone skills that are essential to being a top notch trial lawyer. The free content on her podcast is worth volumes of Trial Guides books. I never miss an episode. No doubt, Sari’s style isn’t for everyone. She’s bold, brash, and opinionated. She curses like a sailor and proudly plugs herself and her crew throughout the episodes. No doubt that can turn off some listeners who feel such self promotion somehow undermines the value of her free podcast. Those poor misguided souls. Why shouldn’t Sari promote herself? She has found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. The podcast shows you the rainbow. The crew gives you the gold.

    Fine!
Leaving this review only because the podcast host incessantly and shamelessly demands reviews.

    Every Day
If I could start off every day with a new Sari podcast I wouldn’t have too many to listen to. Always on point and always brilliant.

    Always Profound
I first heard Sari in Miami at Take Back the Courtroom, and I realized immediately that I needed to listen to what this lady had to say. Since then I’ve bought her book and shared it with the attorneys in my office ,and I’ve checked in to listen to Sari every chance I get. She makes trial lawyers better. Each podcast has something great and also makes me laugh unexpectedly.

    Life changing
Sari speaks to lawyers but the messages transcend the industry. I started listening thinking that I needed to develop better trial skills, but started noticing that the themes can be applied to life generally. I am not kidding when I’m say that I have a happier and more balanced life. There is so much authenticity, integrity and truth in all of Sari’s messages. Once you’ve absorbed these techniques, work (and life) is easier.

I’m not a lawyer but this is one of my favorite podcasts
I have hired Sari before and she was amazing. I’m not a lawyer and while I love the attorney whisperer she is just a people whisperer. Do yourself a favor and listen. If you want to move forward and feel amazing about you, your career, and your personal life you will love this. Brutally honest in a great way I appreciate.

    Love, love, love!
This is such an amazing podcast! We trial attorneys think so much about the content that we often don’t consider how it is being communicated and received. Sari truly is “The Attorney Whisperer.”

    Motivating
Sari’s podcast helps remind me why I became a lawyer in the first place. She has tips on how to connect with others in the practice of law and in life generally. I’m so glad I found her!

    This is the One!
I don’t know how she does it, but Sari delivers every week! The Attorney Whisperer generously shares her easy-to-understand and implement ideas about how to best communicate our clients’ stories to the jury. But her podcast is so much more than that because she also teaches us how to get out of our own way in order to tap into our unique potential as litigators and human beings. I can’t recommend this podcast enough. Wow!

I love listening to all the different topics. I especially love how Sari makes sure each episode has one or more concrete takeaways that I can begin practicing.

    I love this podcast!!
Sari’s willingness to share all her wisdom and helping us lawyers unlock our true selves is a gift. This podcast is not only about trial skills, but about life skills and how to be our authentic selves. With this podcast, the book, and the membership I’ve found myself so much faster than I could have on my own. Thank you, Sari for being a light worker. 🥰

    Refreshing and inspiring!
Sari is the most inspirational speaker I’ve ever listened to. Her podcasts are an easy listen with a tremendous amount of practical tips packed into each one. Every podcast episode is informative while also reminding us that while we are trial lawyers, we are people first. She teaches all of the human qualities that we need to polish first before we can be the best attorneys for our clients. I only wish I would have learned about her sooner because I have a lot of catching up to do on all the available episodes!

    Positive, Practical and Personal
I started listening to Sari before her book, From Hostage to Hero, was even available. I loved her practical advice and positive take on people, circumstances and particularly her approach to juries and the practice of law. Of course, I loved the book and continued to come back to the podcast for reminders and new perspective. However, I’d say now I probably stay engaged for the personal growth. I love Sari and her teaching is easy to follow, thought provoking and can be absolutely liberating. #loveaccepts #loveencourages #loveinspires

Helping Lawyers Get Back to Being Human
There are so many things I love about Sari's podcast, but mostly that it encourages us to get back to being real people. To ignore the old, outdated trial methods that make juries hate us and to be comfortable embracing ourselves and showing up authentically.
  • David's I-tunes
Sari provides the unifying theory of trial
I’ve read all the plaintiff lawyer trial books. I’ve been to Gerry Spence, Trojan Horse, Rick Friedman’s seminar, etc. I learned from all of those, of course. It was not until I read Sari’s book that all of the dots connected. Once you read her book and listen to her podcast, everything you ever learned about trying a case makes sense in a way you can feel in your bones. I just can’t say enough about how important she is.

    Not a lawyer gimmick
Sari’s podcast is an incredible tool and perfect companion to the book; one medium reenforces the other and helps you learn. I love both, but having Sari tell you in her own powerful voice to get out of your own way is necessary and moving. H2H is not a “lawyer gimmick” it’s a mindset shift on what we as trial lawyers are doing and how we are changing the profession.

The beauty and effectiveness of caring and authenticity
My favorite part of Sari’s approach is that it is genuine caring and curiosity that works to engage others (including jurors). I started following her years ago and realized firsthand the impact her approach has. No more memorizing persuasion tricks and manipulative techniques. It’s just about getting real, communicating clearly, and then getting real results.

Great Podcast to Guide You in Being a Better You...
As a trial attorney for well over three decades, Sari’s advice and insights are indispensable to improving as an advocate. I especially recommend episode 32 which deals with a very difficult topic, how to talk about money in voir dire. It was very instructive and reassuring in helping me discuss this topic and knowing what to expect from the prospective jurors.

    Great job Sari!
I’m not a personal injury lawyer but I represent plaintiffs in employment cases and have gotten so much out of sari’s podcast. I’m definitely a better lawyer advocate and person as a result. Thank you Sari keep up the good work!

Sari’s Podcast is a MUST Listen for Every Plaintiff’s Trial Attorney
As Plaintiff’s Trial Attorneys, we are always striving to connect with the jury, help them understand the issues and feel motivated to help our clients. The struggle for us is getting there. Many times we overthink, we over-worry, and we create so much stress in our lives as we absorb our clients’ hurt, pain and loss. Sari does a fantastic job in helping us balance our jobs as Plaintiff’s Trial Attorneys, improving our mindset and teaching us how to connect with the jury by learning to form a group. I recommend every Plaintiff’s Trial Attorney to listen to every episode, read Sari’s book and sign up for one of her workshops.

Every trial lawyer should listen to this podcast.
Sari provides a unique gift that we trial lawyers need. She helps us learn to get out of our own way to better communicate with jurors. The shift in my mindset after working with Sari has not only made me better in trial, but it has also made trial more fun.

Great resource for personal injury attorneys
I’ve been listening to this podcast for months and cannot stress how much of a gem it is to personal injury attorneys. Sari’s podcast has changed the way I think about my cases and the way I frame the liability issues and my client’s narrative. I am so grateful for this podcast!

    Binging and loving!
I love this podcast. I was hooked from episode 1. I shared with all my lawyer friends. I’ve listened with my teenager. I’ve shared lessons about how to better communicate with my husband and my friends. I listen and I feel inspired. Sari is coaching us trial lawyers in all the best stuff we need to hear. I’m very grateful to have her voice in my earbuds on long walks or playing out the car speakers. It’s a great companion to the book and I love the Facebook community. Thank you.

Sari’s content is amazing! If you try cases, listen and heed Sari’s advice. People HATE jury service. This is the first school of thought that accepts that truth, and then, through recognition, issue-oriented jury selection, you’re not wasting their time, and, at the same time, building your credibility, finding your “ideal” jurors, and tying-in your theme for opening and beyond! There’s so much more. And she curses! I love when people curse!

    Communications expert indeed
Sari takes things that we attorneys have over complicated and breaks it down in such a way that makes you say: “huh, that really makes sense; why am I making it so hard for myself?” These podcasts are filled with nuggets of gold. More than that they are encouraging and entertaining. I’m always looking for the next episode as if I were a Marvel comics fan waiting on line to see the next blockbuster movie. I really love everything sari puts out. I am truly grateful that sari decided to share her wonderful gifts with us all.
