SoftballdadPHDIf you love softball, listen here...Most reliable and informative softball podcast anywhere. Coach Don and Tory are pros in this game and they leave no stones unturned. Whether you are new or experienced to the game they are great at explaining every concept they talk about that is both thoughtful and insightful in a way that is understandable to anyone listening. A lot of informational podcast come off as too technical and is boring. Everything fastpitch is done well and is entertaining to listen to while you learn. They also conduct great interviews with other coaches, mentors, scouts, and/or something related to the game to help you. Having said that, I feel like in 20 years from now we’ll look back at Coach Don and Tory and day that they will be a huge part of what we are seeing now in the sport: a softball boom.

StickyStaySparked my interestI’ve played baseball in high school back in the early 90’s. Needless to say I’ve come to realize those playing years of mine were just time fillers. No parent involvement, just existing to play. Fast forward to now. I got involved with coaching both my daughters teams recently and it has been pleasantly challenging. But over the past year or so I’ve been BINGE listened to each podcast more than 2 times each and some a lot more. Just to let the enormous amount of information sink in has allowed me to enjoy a new found love for women’s fastpitch softball. Thanks to EVERYTHING FASTPITCH both my daughters and I strengthened our relationships. Softball has given us a new part of life to relate and share. Thanks Everything Fastpitch

GoPack2000Wealth of Information for Rookie Assistant CoachI have been coaching my daughter for the past few years. I have a little experience playing during my youth, but no coaching experience until my daughter started to have an interest. Over the last few years our team has managed to become an elite 8U travel ball team (if there is such a thing) in state if NC. Over the summer we achieved the #1 ranking in NC per Beast and Destroy rankings. We have been starting to make the transition to 10U and we found out quickly that it is a whole different ball game. We managed to win a few lower bracket tournaments the last few months, so we are making progress. I feel like i am learning along with ours girls each day. During the last few years i have always been researching coaching techniques, practice setups, drills, etc. trying to be the best coach i can be. A few months ago i came across your podcast and boy what a wealth of knowledge you guys are putting out there!! I think i have already listened to over 40 of them so far with pencil and pad in hand taking notes. I have already started incorporating some of the guidance you have provided in your podcasts and blogs into our practices, pregame warmups and games. Thank you for what you guys are doing and keep it going!! Assistant Coach Tim Mad Batterz 2010 (NC)

Coach Kevin DavisFavorite weekly podcastI have been coaching for 14 years. I have coached kids from 9 years old to high school age. Many of these years I was a hear coach at local middle schools. Everything fastpitch has provided me with great insight into better preparing my players and team for the recruitment process. However I believe my favorite part of your podcast is when you discuss the Xs and Os of the game. Very educational! Would love to hear more about how you handle cutoffs from the outfield. You guys are second to none!

Coach HCJ 3Relationship FixersI truly am grateful for the advice you have given the listeners regarding coaching mistakes you have learned from over the years you two have coached. It not only has helped me adjust my coaching style to the current “millennial players” 😬 it has also helped my relationship with my daughter and how I handle her while coaching her travel ball team. Thank you both for helping me so much in our day to day approach to this great game. I have learned so much from both of you most of all patience and wisdom. Thank you, Harry Jones Granite Bay, Ca 12U Five Cities Fastpitch
