The five stars are for Ed
Been listening to this podcast for about two years since I started my points and miles journey. I have been enjoying it for the most part. I especially enjoy the episodes where Ed brings on other guests like Summer or Julian. Those episodes are much more fun and dynamic and informative. Sadly I think Richard just brings down the podcast, he comes off as an obnoxious know it all who’s always complaining. Sorry not sorry.

Great Points and Miles podcast with excellent Disney Tips thrown in here and there!
I really enjoy the format of Ed and Richard’s podcast! They always have all the points and miles news with some great stories and humor. I am a Disney buff so also love hearing a different perspective and tips than the typical Disney themed podcast. Thank you and keep up the good work!

Won’t change until Richard offers mea culpa
1 star until Richard offers mea culpa for his take that Covid vaccine should’ve been mandatory to fly. He offered this take while clearly he is obese. Twisted.

    More travel tips
Less family stories that have no impact on us

    Review for you
More talk on actual travel and please less talk on Disney. There are Disney podcasts we can listen to if we wanted Disney information. I don’t mind Bilt talk, as it is an interesting business perspective.

    Normal folks with extraordinary talents
Unlike other points and miles podcasts, these are normal guys who are taking reasonable trips within a “regular” person’s parameters. Great advice on traveling with kids as well. Love the banter. Very approachable from the person opening their first CC to the points nerd.

Great info about traveling and points
I’ve been listening for several years now, on Sunday mornings while doing some chores. I’ve learned so much about earning and using points, turning this info into some great travel experiences that I never thought would be possible for me. Because I only listened to the podcast, I had a very specific mental image of Richard, with his deep southern accent and general burly persona. They recently changed the podcast cover image that now shows the host faces. Well, Sunday mornings will never be the same again. Still 5 stars though.

    Going downhill fast
2 years ago I’d have given them a 4.5. Lately it’s all complaining about what their status doesn’t get them or otherwise how awful the travel for regular folks in coach mist be. Don’t most people just want to get from point A to B? “Tips and tricks” for that are far more limited than they used to be.

Great up to date info on points and miles
This is one of my favorite points and miles podcast for up to date info. Love the stories and banter you guys bring to the podcast. I also get a kick out of frontier tales. Keep up the great work and thank you for putting the time into making this.

Good tips to maximize points and redeem points for travel

Looking forward to every new episode!
I look forward every week to your new episodes. So nice to hear your discussions on award travels. Sounds like the both of you have balanced family lives which I appreciate. Being an empty nester now, I am listening even more attentively so I could maximize my award travels and points accumulation. Appreciate your insights on hotels in car rentals as well.

    Used to be good
Used to be a very good podcast about miles and points. Now it's a promotional channel for Bilt.

    Enough with the bell.
I am willing to give the show two more stars if the hosts will stop ringing a bell every time they mention Bilt. That’s right, I am officially blackmailing the show. I actually appreciate Richard being able to offer an insider perspective since he works at Bilt. But ringing the bell every single time it is mentioned is distracting, schlocky and unfunny. I like Ed but the constant bell ringing is an example of someone who doesn’t have a great sense of humor and doesn’t know when to stop. I don’t find the show a must listen but some of the insider views are interesting, like United GS, Bilt, the round tables with Julian and Summer, and, surprisingly, loved the segments on RV life during the pandemic. Solid four stars-if no bell-ringing . . .

Please enough with the Bilt bell
I love the show…I love Bilt, talk about Bilt all you want. But for the love of god please stop with the bell noise. It was cute the first week, but it is so annoying it makes the show unlistenable.
  • No sound when on vibrate ?
Stop the annoying bell ring every time bilt is said
Ok it was funny the first time but now it’s just annoying, loud, and obnoxious Please STOP the bell ding !

    Needs work
Rarely have I come across someone who talks more about himself than Ed. The podcast should be renamed I, I, Me, Me and Myself. Some people who do this are lonely. Ed is not. He doesn’t seem to have much self awareness. Audio generally good. Content usually not very insightful or helpful.
  • Dustin229
    Suggestion
Love the content but find myself fast forwarding through the dialogue at the beginning to get to the content faster. My suggestion is to spend more time on the core content. Thanks! Keep up the good work.

    Union Bashing?
Could do without their opinions on what unionized workers should and shouldn't be doing to reach fair contract settlements.
  • Shieldwolf35
    Please add timestamps
Way too much Bilt talk all the time. Please add time stamps so we can listen to the parts of the show that are interesting.
  • bachelorettefan12345
Wow, two white dudes talking about travel
It’s the same old story, just a different format. Might as well read TPG where these two used to work.
  • K Paley
    Dynamic Dude Duo
Something about these two just makes me smile, and running into Ed at IAD would be like a (super, super niche) celebrity sighting. Ed and Richard have a delightful dynamic; they provide practical wisdom; and there is NO PUSHING CARDS or constant stream of advertisements. Just helpful info, delivered in a wryly amusing tones. A , gentlemen.

    My Favorite part of Wednesday
Thank you so much for all of the information and storytelling each week. Love the combination of in the know information and highly entertaining dialogue. You guys really do a great job! Josh

    Great info and great hosts
If you love travel rewards this a great podcast. A great way to learn about travel programs, what’s new in the rewards world, travel info and more. The hosts are relatable and fun to listen to.

    Sometimes good, sometimes arrogant
I’ve listened on and off over the years. The banter between the hosts is entertaining. They provide good information if it’s the programs they use such as Hyatt. The bashing on other programs that their followers may use such as Marriott comes of as insulting and reeks of arrogance.
  • Mrsmcginty
    Great podcast plus
This is the first podcast I listen to when it comes out on Wednesday! Love the miles, points and travel hacks plus the banter between Ed and Richard. My husband signed up for the Bilt credit card and had a question. I sent an email to Ed and had the question answered before my husband could even call Bilt. Thanks for the help and the inside track. Plus some street cred within my household!
  • sdb3223
    Worth a listen!
Even as a frequent traveler with a few different opinions (team Delta & Marriott) it’s always nice to hear what’s going on outside my usual sphere of travel knowledge! Both hosts have undeniable and experience which will have you learning something new every episode.
  • ShinarJSB
    Jealousy
Just listened to Wednesday’s episode. Man there’s some serious passive aggressive jealousy going on with these two. If they’re not raging against other podcasters about them using “affiliates” then they are raging against Chase Sapphire for some reason. Like dude I get it y’all don’t have affiliates like other podcasters, I mean that’s cool but who cares. And good lord y’all love Bilt ok cool I get it. Guess what I love my Chase card and I love my Bilt card as well and I also love listening to other podcasters even if they have affiliates. Goodness! So distracting.
  • Soleman1024
Ed is cool, Richard a tool
Ed has always been a cool guy with a lot of useful information. Richard is a condescending jerk who spouts off inaccurate information and insults people he doesn’t even know. I don’t like to call people names but Richard started it with his own immaturity.
  • Eklontz
    Knowledgeable hosts
Nice banter between two knowledgeable hosts with differing values (last minute booking vs advance planning). Learn maxing points strategies while being entertained.
  • DLH621
Great info !!! But one suggestion..
Love your podcast, great info, but sometimes you guys forget your audience, LOL like you talk a little fast and in such airline lingo that can’t always grab it all, like I did not know what a 524 was, LOL. Maybe a little better explanation of some of your stuff, and Kerr .. slow down a little when explaining plans and benefits , but maybe it’s just me lol .. but definitely one of the best mileage travel podcasts out there!
  • Lil_Travels
Thanks for entertaining me while I do housework
I get super excited when a new episode comes out but I save it until I have to do laundry/cleaning/dishes. Podcast turns my boring tasks into interesting listening. Thanks y’all for helping me keep my house clean! 🤓

    Best Travel Podcast
I look forward to listening to Ed and Richard each week and enjoy their bantering back and forth. I’ve gotten lots of good information from them and enjoy hearing their stories, adventures and experiences. Their podcast is a perfect combination of entertainment and information. I’d like to add great big THANK YOU to Ed for helping get my Southwest meltdown reimbursement back on track 🙌🏻

    Great travel podcast
I’ve been listening for a couple years and this is a great down-to-earth travel podcast. It covers many topics and brands and provides a lot of valuable advice.

    Gone downhill, and staying there…
Feb 2023 update: still the same whining, but I think even worse. I listened to the last few episodes to see if anything has changed. Nope. Buh bye… I’ve been listening to this podcast for as long as I can remember. It has quickly gone downhill for useful travel information. If you’re looking for a podcast that just has people whining about their own personal travel, then this is the podcast for you. If you want a podcast where you can get useful travel information regarding points and miles, there are other good ones out there. After the last episode I listened to (~aug 2 2022), I’ll be pausing my listening. Hopefully in a couple months they’ll get back on track. But right now, it’s painful to listen.

    Check it out!
Love Ed and Richard’s banter back and forth. Appreciate the relevant conversations, whether it be specifically points and miles, or just more general travel. Keep it up guys!

    Best points and miles podcast!
I listen to several points and miles podcasts and this is by far the best! Highly, highly recommend!

    Realistic Points & Miles
The menu of points and miles podcasts is short but Miles To Go is my favorite. Ed and Richard are both entertaining and knowledgeable. I appreciate that their advice is realistic and approachable rather than only focusing on the most aspirational of redemptions. This podcast is a balanced mix of the current state of travel and how to make the most of your points, miles and status.

    Points Miles & More
My daily walks are made more interesting listening to Ed and Richard talk professionally not only about points and miles but recent trips. Learning earning and redeeming strategies are extremely valuable to our one income family. I look forward to the show every week.

    Entertaining and Educational
I absolutely love this podcast! I’m fairly new to the miles and points scene and wish I had discovered this gem earlier in the game. Ed and Richard have such great chemistry and their discussions are both informative and entertaining. This is indispensable listening on my daily morning dog walks and it always brings a smile to my face when I see a new episode populate in the app.

    Alway useful information
Ed and Richard are entertaining and informative; a great way to keep up with the changeable landscape of miles and points!

    One of my favorites
This is one of my must listen to podcasts every week. The advice is mostly unbiased, the stories interesting, and the banter is very entertaining. I like the contrasting approaches to travel and Ed and Richard have, thats something you don’t always get on similar podcasts. Also, as a former radio guy I have to add that if Richard doesn’t have the best voice in the podcast realm, I don’t know who does.
  • T Deans
    One of my favorite podcasts
Thanks for the valuable information. I have learned a lot about travel from you both going back to when you had separate podcasts. I love the dynamic between you. But most importantly I’ve learned to never buy an RV! Thanks for the laughs.

One of my favorite points and miles podcasts
Richard and Ed have one of my favorite points and miles podcasts. They know their stuff and give valuable information, but in a very funny format where you can tell they have a genuine friendship based on constantly giving each other a hard time - the best kind. Truly look forward to it every week and appreciate their episodes. They always have helpful information and interesting topics.
