    Love, love LOVE this podcast!
I’m a lover of cooking, cookbooks, and new recipes! My daughter shared this with me a few months ago, asking if we could do this as a family. My girls are all amazing cooks, and VERY busy professionals, but love to cook for friends and family (I think they get that from me)! I have cooked at least 1 recipe a week since starting, and have loved everything I cook. I share the recipes with my girls and my mom! 3 generations of dinner mamas and sisters!! We are hoping to start 1x a month all making a recipe together (we are spread from NYC, Denver, Memphis and Nashville) as a way to cook together even when we are apart. I’ve got about 200 episodes to catch up on, and had to Google how to leave a review, but just wanted to share some love!

    Dinner Ideas A Plenty
I absolutely adore this podcast. Kate and Betsy have such a fun energy and they’re always giving me great recipes to try. Can’t recommend it enough!

    Just right
This podcast is light on side chat (not much) heavy on practical dinner ideas. Easy to follow recipes with good hints and tricks, I find myself in the show notes around 4pm checking to see if my cupboard matches any recipe, it often does.

    Thank you!
I'm not a podcast person, but this one has me hooked! I happened upon a recent episode, then proceeded to browse the entire history to choose episodes that sounded most interesting...and now, I'm just going through every episode from the beginning of the show. Even more than the useful tips and interesting recipes, what I enjoy most is the endearing personalities of the two hosts, who are very clearly sisters and who remind me of my sister and me (I'm Betsy, she's Kate). I listen to this podcast so often that my 10-month-old smiles whenever she hears the theme song, and my husband knows that at some point during dinner, I will start a sentence with, "On the Dinner Sisters..." Thanks for putting so much effort and thought into a wonderful podcast! Keep it up! :)

    So fun!
I love the banter these two sisters have, and I love that they truly have gotten me out of my dinner rut. My kids (9, 6, and 3) have come to love and trust any meal that comes from The Dinner Sisters and even listen to the podcast with me sometimes!

    Great Podcast!
Discovered this podcast by accident during the summer of 2020 and have been working my way through ALL the episodes from 1-157. Thank you Kate and Betsy!

    Great show!
I haven't listened to many food-related pocasts but make no mistake I can tell this is a great one! Terrific audio quality and a really sweet dynamic between Kate and Betsy make this a show def worth checking out.

    Great cooking podcast!
I just discovered this podcast and am loving it. I love hearing their discussion of recipes and especially the cookbook reviews! I cook from many of the same sources and have basically cooked from all the cookbooks they’ve reviewed so it’s great to hear their takes. None of my friends or fam are really avid cooks, so I have no one to discuss cookbooks like Kachka or Melissa Clark’s books with, but now I have these podcasters! I also like the sister dynamic and differing personalities and cooking POVs. They also often choose recipes I never would have considered, and motivate me to branch out a bit. Only feedback is sound quality could be improved. Also the intro feels very stiff to me and sometimes when they are giving their initial reviews it feels a bit scripted (I appreciate that they are prepared and maybe wrote out some points but the delivery sounds like they’re reading off a page). When they get into the discussion though, the convo is natural and interesting. I’ve been binging this on my quarantine walks and it really has been lifting my spirits, so thank you!

    Fun and sparks cooking inspiration!
I love listening to Kate and Betsy talk through new recipes every week. I am a vegan and still listened to a full ep about grilled chicken just to hear their conversation and tips about marinades 😂

    Audio Quality
I enjoy the format of podcast and love the concept but I cannot get past the horrible audio quality. It’s like one host is shouting and the other is talking through a tin can telephone from inside a closet.

    Great Food Podcast
This is my new favorite food podcast. I was having a hard time trying to find a food podcast that wasn’t full of celebrity chefs mostly talking about their lives or repetitive rants about how everyone needs to eat locally. I just wanted to listen to someone talk about recipes that they’ve tried and how they were received. This podcast is exactly what I’d been looking for. I can’t wait to listen to all their past episodes.

    Love this podcast
This show is great! It’s my top cooking podcast I listen to. I also collect cookbooks but am downsizing. I can send you a list of what I have and would be glad to share. Keep up the good work. Your sense of humor is perfect. I love that you’re not cooking snobs. Great tips and love that you’re not afraid to try new things😎-Heidi

    Love these sisters
These sisters are a perfect match. One goes by the recipe and the other may go a bit off book ~ lol. They review 3 recipes each week, comment on past recipes and info on food in general, and periodically review cookbooks. It’s a must listen for me every week.

I look forward to the new episode every week. Kate and Betsy are so fun to listen to and the recipes I’ve tried have all been delicious!

    Been looking for this
I have been hoping to find this exact type of podcast for awhile. I enjoy cooking for my family, love trying new recipes, and even want to talk with others about what they cook/enjoy/etc. However, I feel I am a rare bird among my peers (and oddly, I am not so young but it seems rare to find others who really enjoy cooking or have time/desire to share ideas). Anyway, these ladies are approachable, enjoyable, and down to earth. I can’t wait to dig in for more. Thank you and keep up the good work!

    Great idea for a podcast!
Found you through a “Didn’t I Just Feed You” instagram post and I’m so thrilled! I Am a total podcast junkie and I can tell within minutes whether a podcast will hook me and I’ve binged this all day today! Love it! Your latest episode with the stone fruit panzanella had my mouth watering! I love food blogs and cookbooks and this podcast is another avenue for me to get my fix of all the things ! Great job!

Fun little gem of a podcast.
I am thoroughly enjoying these two podcasting sisters. Challenging themselves to cook three different recipes that have been found scouring the web. Kate loves to seek out new great recipes. She is always planning her next meal (this is me). Betsy is busy with three young children so challenging recipes may not be the best choice at this busy time of life. She is up for the challenge and looks for short cuts. The combination of these two engaging sisters can be comical. Both are charming and fun to follow. Highly recommend!

    Yummy Dinners
Just discovered the Dinner Sisters about 3 weeks ago and I love this podcast. Only cooking for two, love hearing of recipes which can be halved. Love, love this podcast and the great sister vibes.

So much fun and great info too!
The Dinner Sisters are so much fun to listen to. I love hearing how the weekly recipes work in their different kitchens and how their loved ones react to the recipes. Their banter back and forth reminds me of my food discussions with my sister. Listen and subscribe. You won’t be dissapointed!

    Seriously wonderful podcast (& more!)
Dinner Sisters is a constant source of inspiration and entertainment. As a parent of two, I can definitely relate to the “what’s for dinner?” struggle. Love that this show helps me out week after week. I’m not a dedicated “podcast person”, but Dinner Sisters is more than a podcast! Kate and Betsy run an excellent website, newsletter, Instagram *and* Facebook group that keep me in the loop if I’ve gotten a week or two behind on listening. 5/5!

    Dinner sisters rock
I love this podcast. Of all the podcasts on my weekly list, this is the one I listen to first because they are great hosts, the reviews are helpful, and I get new and accessible recipes to try. It is clear they put a lot of work into making each episode (plus always include relevant links in the show notes). I so appreciate it, thanks!

    AMAZING!
Kate and Betsy are amazing! This podcast is so much fun to listen to. Great tips and a fun way to get new recipes into the rotation without man overwhelming meal plan! I LOVE when they just say...I’m not doing that step, it’s WAY to much for an at-home week night meal! They give me confidence to trust my judgement and make food that works with my life, plus they are both adorable!

    Relatable cooking and conversation
I really enjoy hearing Kate and Betsy talk about their experiences and results cooking easily accessible recipes. They cook for different families and have access to different ingredients. They bake and cook American and international cuisine, and they are up for a challenge. Their conversation focuses on both the process and the result, which are equally important for many home cooks.

    I really enjoy this show!
A host of another food podcast I listen to recommended this one, and I started with the first one just a few days ago. Currently I’m on #34! It’s such an enjoyable listen. The format is great with recipe reviews followed by discussion of food topics and tips. They are very relatable hostesses and make me think I could tackle some of these more complicated recipes (even as a new mom!). But I definitely appreciate that they also include easier recipes that I might scroll past on Pinterest. Excited for more!
  • Good, but missing trees
    Creative
Listening to them makes me feel like I am out of my dinner Rut without even touching a pan. It is nice to hear some feedback about recipes on the World Wide Web.

    It's manageable and helpful!
They're so pleasant to listen to, and each episode has great feedback, do-able dinner ideas, shopping list, thoughts on streamlining your life in the kitchen, etc. All in a 20-minute podcast. No rambling around here! I love it.

    Dinner Inspiration Delivered
Working full time and being in graduate school has left me with little time to search for interesting recipes. The Dinner Sisters have become my go-to for dinner inspiration on the go. They deliver a great blend of classic cooking, fun experimentation and practicality. I love the life hacks to help fit week-night cooking into a busy lifestyle.

    My weekly must-listen
So glad I found the Dinner Sisters. As a working parent who loves cooking but doesn’t love planning, this podcast has helped me find my kitchen mojo again. The shopping list is so helpful!
