I've followed Tobi off and on for over ten years and I am always amazed by not just her design talent but also her curiosity and love for learning and teaching. Dear Tobi, I have always followed you and always loved you, up until recently. The political voice is not appropriate, and if anything you have made me and many other feel like an outcast and a bad person because of my beliefs. It feels like you are trying to shame people. And that is not okay. I actually do a lot of reading and studying to create my own beliefs. I am so sad to write this and officially unsubscribe. I get it, you will be like, well you are not my people then. But I was, I wanted to enroll in your program as an interior designer and to help my life and business. Because of our current political environment, I have to hide my beliefs because of people like you whose goal is to shame anyone for the past present and future.
