Aaron IrberGreat podcast! This is a great podcast that has interesting guests and high level discussions on art from a Catholic context. Check it out!

LizJardimThoughtful and meaningfulI stumbled upon this podcast, and it is such a wonderful show. I am not a catholic and yet I still take away a lot of meaning and wisdom from the conversations happening here. Thank you Thomas! I recommend the Dana Gioia poetry episode!

Auntintheattic84I’d like to strongly echo mako_mark. I read a lot, listen to solid and thoughtful podcasts, homilies, etc. This was unusually eye opening and helpful. meliz.anz

mako_mark84Episode 84 offered perspective and guidance that sadly I haven’t heard anywhere else. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Thank you.

AjirberAwesome PodcastThis is a great show and the guests are interesting. The Gene Wolfe episode was one of the best yet. Catholics has such a rich artistic heritage and it’s important that we learn about it.

catholicsthinkOverly EditedDude, I like most of your discussions, conversations with your guests. But there seems to be a disconnect between you and your guests, lacking flow in your conversations, as if you are only so focused on your questions you want to ask your guests. Worse, your podcast is overly edited that you and your guests sound like they are not breathing at all, and not giving your listeners a breather in the process. Yes edit your podcast of course but dont edit it too much.

baskeballisfunIn depth great convos. And awesome Tolkien eps.Awesome guests. Great host. In depth and insightful convos about important cultural topics. Also - highly recommend both Tolkien episodes!

Pius AeneasYou talk too muchThe host dominates the conversation to a highly unwelcome extent. I tune in to hear the guests but receive an hour of self-involved soliloquy. This is simply immature performance wasting the presence of interesting guests. This is very disappointing.

jennyshaloThis Episode is An Early Christmas PresentEavesdropping on my intellectual betters as they shared insights on books I’ve read as well as others I want to read or will never read was a thorough delight. I’m a first time listener who can’t wait to go back and listen to the 5 most popular podcasts of the year.

F Ginskione of the better Catholic podcastsThe host, Thomas Mirus, clearly puts considerable thought into each episode’s guests. The topics and questions are timely, fascinating and often unusual enough to really stand out from my other subscriptions. I find it hard to stop listening to an episode once I’ve started. Highly recommended!

StinerTA Grace Filled Find!Just listed to the first Podcast and enjoyed it immensely. The reputation the actors is not the greatest and I love it when faith filled people share there story. I look foward to listening to the other episodes.

RCS34567Fascinating interviews on a variety of topicsThomas V. Mius interviews a wide spectrum of guests on topics including economic theory, Catholic history and current events. He is an engaging interviewer and things definitely never get dry or prosaic. I especially enjoyed the episode on inflation, in addition to being interested food for thought on the topic, it was a great primer on and history of inflation and other economic concepts, well worth a listen just to expand ones knowledge of these often misunderstood concepts!

Lionsheart85Love this podcast!Thomas Mirus blends a beautiful gift of the academic and artist providing different perspectives and lesser known facts about Catholic Culture and examination of more complicated subject matter in a fascinating, robust discussion. He is a gifted interviewer, with a sharp dry wit and a penchant for discovering the unexpected. I love the intersection between Artist and the rich intellectual discussion he brings with each guest. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Zeitgeist68Faithful, Engaging InterviewsInteresting, smart, faithful engaging interviews. I look forward to more. I have always enjoyed his writing on the Catholic Culture site and he exhibits the same keen sensibilities in his podcast.

lindatheMOTHERA delightful listenBetween Thomas’ style and Tony’s life - this exchange is just like a life lesson, but one you enjoy thoroughly throughout. Really, I cant recommend this episode enough. A throwback to living and combining faith & life - which gives you the fullest possible. Make sure you listen to the end because he finishes with two wonderful quotes.
