Treehugger2003LoveAbsolutely love this compilation of experiences and Chas is wonderful as a thought-provoking, insightful host seeking to find truth. By the very nature of the podcast, it is religious, but in a very broad sense and doesn’t try to say that any one religion is “right.” It’s simply trying to gather information from other people’s experiences and make sense of it.

M.Castro MuffWhat happened!?It’s been over a year and no new episodes Disappointing
-
DaltonGangOfOneLove it, butI really enjoy most of these episodes, BUT found I have to skip some bc of the tv sounds in the background. It’s something that makes it extremely difficult for me to concentrate & enjoy. Keep up the good work- but please try to limit the background noise.
-
Bugsy and MaxxGood podcast but could be betterLiked this podcast at first but stopped following it because it was too heavy on breaking down and interpreting the stories in minute detail. It got annoying after a while. Some sound quality issues. The later podcasts are presented by a deep voiced man that sounds creepy so I stopped listening.

CMehlbyI love this podcastI have just found this podcast in 2023 and have went back to the beginning and have been listening daily. This is so enlightening and I can’t get enough of it. It opens my mind and I think very differently now. So many amazing books are recommended through the podcast as well that I have begun reading. So glad I found this. Candi

JodiSalmanI love this podcastI just discovered this podcast and began listening incessantly mid 2022. I went all the way back to the beginning and have been listening to every episode in order. Everyday I listen bcs it puts life in perspective for me that this is not all there is. We are so much more than our body and there is much more than this. Learning that I must have a purpose and a job to do has been a life-changing thought for me. I just want to say thank you to Chas for this ministry.
-
Mark48185Chas a wonderful jobThe way Chas presents the stories and his follow up interpretation are fascinating to listen too. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because of the constant background noise and occasional interruptions. I understand he has a family and privacy is a luxury that not everyone can have. Still, it can be distracting for the listener, especially when he’s interrupted and forgets his train of thought and questions go unanswered. Keep up the great work. Support this podcast if you can. 👍🏼 While I appreciate the release of Chas’s Patreon episodes, it was difficult to understand what Charlotte Thomason from episode #011 of #019. Her voice kept fading out and the music overlay made it very difficult to understand what she was saying at times.

Tiny Home TravelsLove hearing the storiesI am gaining helpful insights from hearing the NDE stories shared by the podcast host. The basic message is to love all of creation, be at peace with our lives, and be kind and helpful to humans, animals, and plants. Part of one NDE story really struck me: A boy had been bullied and beaten, and as he walked back to his house, even the rocks and trees were affected negatively by his painful experience. I want to do what I can to live in the light while on earth, to be conscientious to spread love and not pain, as it affects EVERYTHING.
-
raparker122Deeply meaningful. The reading of these accounts has been incredibly value to my spiritual perception. The contemplation of these experiences has been comforting and liberating.
-
bcjacobsonDeep AppreciationI have been very interested in the NDE experience since my wife passed away from cancer. The information here has been extremely valuable to me. I really appreciate the way that the information is delivered and explained. Thanks so much!

MollismLove it!Love this podcast. Listen nearly everyday. Love the positivity! Chaz seems very genuine!

구 이 엔Most Extraordinary Voice for NDE StoryA most wonderful find. Much needed, very centering.

Yoda 259Chase is a wonderful hostListening to Chas is relaxing and is interesting as well. Why do we forget a lot of vital things when we have a NDE? For instance, God tells you that you have vital work that you have to do, but when you come back to the physical world you can’t remember. I have been studying NDE for many years. I have no doubt that life continues after we’re gone. I look forward to the after life, but while I’m here I hope to be more useful to others. I explore the afterlife by reading Emanuel Swedenborg, and listening to Chas, as another reviewer says, there no agenda or advice. Chas helps me fall back to sleep when I wake up at 3 am. Thanks Chas, love you.
-
Wild Jack TurquoiseBest NDE PoscastThis is an awesome podcast! No agenda, no wanting you to jump on a bandwagon or doom and gloom. This is has given me so much hope and helped me understand forgiveness of myself because it the experience told. It’s amazing and truly a blessing for me
-
MysmarthaFood for Thought and the SoulI am so grateful for this podcast. I love to listen to it before going to sleep. The stories are fascinating and thought provoking. At first I thought I would have a problem with the commentary by Chas, since he comes from a Christian orientation. Yet he’s so open-minded and humble; I never get the feeling he thinks he has all the answers. In fact, he makes it clear that he does not. His reflections on the NDEs provide food for thought and add real value. I bought his album—it’s great meditation music. I’ve really grown to love both Chas and John and highly recommend this podcast.

Diadod44Spontaneous abortionThe medical term for a miscarriage is a spontaneous abortion. It is not by choice.

cella728Love this podcast!I just found this a couple weeks ago. Started from the beginning and I can’t get enough. It is exactly what I needed. Thank you for sharing this and being such an excellent podcast host! I love hearing your commentary and perspective and your voice is so soothing.
-
DebCrouchThis podcast is so encouraging!Chas, I Am getting so much comfort and encouragement from your thoughts about the stories you share. I thank you, as well as the people who send in their personal experiences, for giving us all hope that our lives and our struggles have some meaning and purpose. It’s helpful to be able once in a while to get an aerial view of life here in the trenches. I am getting that from your podcast. Thank you so much!
-
m-lubsWonderful!I love this podcast! I have been interested in this subject for years and it’s wonderful to have such a vast number of NDE accounts available to listen to any time I want (which is very often!). I really enjoy how Chas reads the NDEs and then gives his insights on them. He is always so thoughtful and sincere in his commentary. Thanks to John for his great interviews. You two make a great team!!

Kool-Aid Man1412Excellent!!!This podcast is just what I was looking for!! I just found the podcast and when I saw how many episodes there were I was so excited. I drive all day and listen to podcasts. I thought I would check to see if there might me a podcast that had the actual stories and not someone just discussing them. Jackpot!!! I plan to listen to them all
-
LctheBrutalBest podcast out thereChas is probably the best podcast host I’ve ever heard. The experiences he shares are on point. The music is wonderful. Absolutely huge fan. I’ve had the opportunity to chat with Chas about my own experiences through email. He was polite and attentive. Anyone who gives this podcast a thumbs down deserves a distressing NDE.
-
BeeGeeKayThank you!I have been listening to your podcast since I lost my father, Dec. 2020. It’s given me so much peace and filled my heart with so much hope. I know now that we will be reunited one day soon.
-
lightstranger22Such a great podcastI am so interested in NDEs. I’ve listened to a few but none of them are as good as this one is in my opinion. You get all views types and opinions, and all types of NDEs. Chas (while a religious guy himself) is not at all preachy and actually very open. This podcast is wonderful! Seriously give it a try!
-
sklayton20very interestingIt is interesting to hear that while we may have physical/mental struggles in our bodies, it is seen as a really great thing to our spiritual self.
-
dm2756#$%Really Helpful PodcastJohn and Chas do a nice job of presenting and commenting on NDE’s from around the US and the world. I’ve learned a lot and after listening to every episode at least once, it’s amazing to me the many common elements found in these experiences and the sheer numbers of experiences on the NDERF site. If you’re interested in the benefits of knowing a little bit more about how the spiritual realms work, this podcast is very helpful. I’m grateful I found it.
-
bmseevee89Thank youReally grateful for this podcast. I pretty much listen to this podcast during most gaps in my day. Walking my dog, driving somewhere, making dinner. I’m so grateful to have such an encouraging and stimulating set of episodes. The commentaries at the end have been so foundational in helping me build on the aspect of life purpose and encouraging me to search for mine.
-
nico333nico“Spiritual” actually means “christian”I was looking for podcasts on NDEs so started listening to this one. I wish it was disclosed in the description that this is NDEs through the lens of a christian perspective. That is fine, but definitely NOT what I was looking for. It took me a couple episodes to figure it out.
-
skdjdififjfkfExcellent Podcast!I am so grateful for your podcast, and very much enjoy Chad’s commentary. Thanks so much for sharing these valuable testimonies and for sharing them in a way that brings love, hope and light to this world! Laura

T-BiznaChas is GreatI really appreciate Chas’s insight and voice. He may get tripped up on the medical terminology, but we can’t all be perfect. I have NEVER listened to more than 7-8 episodes of a podcast, but I’m still listening here and closing the gap on episodes to be finished.

RavMy Go-To NDEMy father passed away in Jan of 2021. He was a Buddhist and I am a Christian. Based on what I had learned, he is not supposed to end up in a pleasant place. This NDE podcast changed everything on what I had learned. This is not just NDE, its an extensive peak of what’s on the other side whether you are Buddhist, Christian, Muslim, Jewish or atheist. I like how Chas extensively analyzing each story and offer listeners his extraordinary wisdom and knowledge on the subject matters. I started to listen from his first Podcast and onward because there are so much information to put together to form a bigger picture of the other side. This podcast has been a comfort to me.
-
LisidisMy favorite NDE PodcastI listen to a lot of NDE accounts, and what I like about this podcast especially is the commentary. I have not listened to as many of the sessions by John, who also does a good job, but I definitely like the way Chas questions, probes, and wonders aloud about the accounts he reads from Nderf. After several months of tuning in, it was clear that Chas is firm in his LDS faith, yet he is extremely open minded and generous toward other faith traditions and their interpretations of NDEs. It’s a great podcast I look forward to each week.
-
seaglasssisterEnjoying this format ChasThank You Chas for reading these experiences and your insightful commentary makes listening so compelling I’m sure God’s plan for us is eternal Love and Joy. We must trust that this earthly life is just a small part of our spiritual growth. Thank you for your honesty and your encouragement.
-
BristrykerEpisode 358In this episode, he makes the comment that he doesn’t really consider Star Wars a spiritual book. I get where he’s coming from, but I heard that George Lucas first wrote Star Wars after having a near death experience. I just thought that was interesting and after hearing that, I look at Star Wars completely different now
-
MarieFernandesBeautifully doneThis a very special podcast that is so beautifully and thoughtfully done.
-
batwomanRecenteringThis podcast is so relaxing and re-centering to listen to. I really like the NDE stories as well as the insights the host offers after each account. Makes my day better every time I listen.
-
rosiebluemoonGood podcastI listen and like the perspective Chas gives at the end of the accounts.
-
ToniHartmanMy new favoriteI haven’t been able to listen to anything but this podcast for a solid week. It is so well done and fills me with wonder and hope. It has changed my perspective and my life. I want to strive to be a better person and to always spread the fragrance of my Heavenly Father everywhere I go. May God’s pure light and love pour from us as we go about our mortal lives that others might see and know and glorify their Father in Heaven!
-
pyurkevFantasticReassurance for the tough days where you might be lost or thinking your life lacks purpose. We are all here on a mission. Thank you Chas for sharing these experiences and for your thoughtful interpretation
-
mbifdithhdurrfjujGreat work!Hi Chas, I've been listening to your podcast for about a month now. I started with your first episode and am slowly making my way through. I appreciate your insights and reflections. Maybe one day I will write my account out for you, but not now. I wouldn't know where to start anyway. How can words capture the infinite? Keep up the good work!
-
Swishergirl24Excellent and open mindedI have been loving this podcast. I love that the hosts are so open minded and although they have their personal faith they do not impose that on the stories of others. And they do not preach anything other than love, and it’s hard to find fault with that. These stories are fascinating.
-
BreGFWonderfulEasily one of my favorite podcasts for many reasons. I am basically obsessed with NDEs so listen to multiple podcasts about them. But for this one- I really love the narrator, Chas! He has such great energy. I just listened to his podcast from 2020 talking about his purpose- and Chas- this is your purpose! You’ve brought so much life and help to me from these stories you share and from your interpretation. Also, coming from a very strict religious background that I left; it’s refreshing to see someone share these things even if they go against the beliefs of the narrator. Also to Chas- you should check out advertising more on Instagram- maybe you will have more luck getting people checking out more of your stuff. And you should put these podcasts on YouTube for views and monetary income, too. Thank you for all your work and once I’m making more $, I will be donating to your channel. Thanks for all you do! You are a blessing.

ericmjonesAddictive and importantI have started several times to write a review for this podcast, but quit each time, unable to find the right words to express how grateful I am for what these guys are putting out into the world. Hearing these experiences has had a massive impact on the way I see, think and move through the world. My outlook on death, my relationship with myself, my family and what I think of as God; it feels like there are little bits of guidance or reassurance in many of these recounts, that is extremely valuable and important. I actually love and appreciate Chas’s perspective... I think he does an amazing job of presenting his thoughts without pushing any agenda at all. It is exactly how I picture a conversation on the topic with a best friend going. If I could only ever listen to one podcast, this is the one.
-
SarahmataLove this podcastThe stories told on the podcast make me look forward to going to heaven one day!
-
Marci BruchmannSounds like Owen WilsonHosts voice reminds me of the Actor Owen Wilson
-
JJbKrazyGreat! But wish he didn’t disclose his religious beliefs. Was enjoying this but I made the mistake of going back to ep. 1 and found out that he was a ‘devout Mormon’. Being one myself in the past I know that mindset all too well and how it it discolors all things spiritual.
-
DocHandalA Must Podcast subscriptionAs a retired emergency medicine MD, I have recently started listening to NDE podcasts. Near death experiences, as you might imagine, are not totally foreign to ER Docs. I find myself listening to a serious academic approach to the topic with authoritative candid relaxed interviewing. Medical terms are explained upfront as needed by Dr. John Meser. Conversations with individuals appear to follow careful research before sharing with his audience. A reputable podcast!
-
Stevie Markovichlife is about loveHave been listening for VERY long time and will continue! Find these stories fascinating and comforting. the common themes from NDE ... life is about loving one another -even tough love, that there is a plan for us, that God gave us work to accomplish something for Him, not to be consumed with materialism, and Gods forgiveness and unconditional love❤️ NOTE : had breakfast and lunch with Howard Storm.
-
LaLaLand1517So helpful.I have believed in God since I was very little. For the past 5 years, since my Dad died in a car accident, I have struggled a lot with my faith. I stumbled upon this podcast last night and listening to several accounts from people who have had these experiences has given me some peace. Thank you for your work.
-
NDEloveAwesome AccountsI love having a all of the audio NDE accounts available at the touch of my finger. Thank you for this! My only suggestion is to record when there is no back noise; in several episodes I can hear children playing on what I assume is a playground outside and sometimes a tv playing in the background. I only mention these because it distracts me from the content.
