    Missing Dave
I’ve listened to the podcast for some time and am so thankful for the wide range of topics and also Dave’s optimism, hope and vulnerability. I’m already missing new podcast episodes and the wisdom that comes with them. Dave is missed and will not be forgotten. Continuing to pray for his family and esp his kids. It was so clear how much he loved and supported them and all the people in his life ❤️

Dave made the world a better place
Getting a glimpse into his life made me feel like I knew him. His sudden death is shocking and devastating. 😥

Thank you for the gifts you’d shared with us Dave
This podcast was a guiding light in my previous marriage during one of the most challenging times in my life. Though I haven’t tuned in since then (2019), I’m giving Dave his flowers and sending love and comfort to his loved ones. You are missed Dave. Thank you for what you did for me during such a trying time

    Rest In Peace Dave
This was such a good show. I’m so sad to hear of his passing. Lots of wisdom gets to live on thanks to his show. 🖤

    Love the solo episodes!
We need more solo episodes Dave! Keep up the good work!

    Loved it! Surprisingly relatable.
I’ll admit, this is the first episode I’ve listened too (based on a friend recommendation) but the message was clear and timing was just what I needed. 💛 I shared recently that I constantly feel the need to earn being loved and it was embarrassing and hard to acknowledge (especially in a group). Even harder to figure out how to heal it, but maybe that’s a later podcast (hint, hint, wink, wink). I’m grateful for this message. 🙏 Thank you Dave for the incredible vulnerability. And for sharing your experiences so that others may heal.

    Dave, buddy, buy a journal
So much of this content is not podcast worthy. Take it to your therapist or write it in your journal instead of turning it into content for external validation. You can do it Dave! Real healing is out there.

    Bad
These people should not be giving advice
  • YadeeW
    Cringey
I guess it’s true that anyone can have a podcast. Just when I didn’t think it could get worse, it does! It’s a long stretch to call Heidi his partner as they’ve made it clear they’re friends with benefits. Dave is running out of content and is still trying to rebrand himself into anything. No qualifications to charge people for fitness tips, yet here we are.

    Attitude is everything!
The Whole Big Picture was so good!! A very helpful perspective of how turning what happens to us into something greater!

    Great podcast!
This podcast is featuring amazing guests covering a variety of relevant topics. I love how each episode has something different but benefitial to offer.

    Epitome
I rarely, if ever, leave negative review. But this podcast epitomizes everything wrong with the self growth industry. This man should not be giving advice of any sort. It's actually tragic. He represents an archetype that promotes supplements while using pills, creams while using Botox, exercise while using surgery and self-love while exhibiting self loathing and entitlement. Skip this.

I used to love this podcast
I honestly haven’t really been able to listen much after Dave and Rachel got divorced.. sad for them but also it felt really blindsiding given what they talked about and the advice they gave on THIS PODCAST. It came across very inauthentic to be giving all this relationship advice and claiming to have such a strong relationship only to have it end soon after. There is no judgement for ending the relationship, it just feels a little disingenuous to be profiting off of the advice you give and essentially putting on a front, when clearly the reality of the relationship was a completely different story. I have since seen issues with both Dave and Rachel as individuals in claiming to be relatable and “real”, only to hear a load of contradictions, problematic behavior, harmful advice, lack of awareness for their mistakes and how it might be problematic, and a lack of authenticity. I used to really admire them and I have a lost a lot of respect for both of them sadly.

    Haters vs Honesty
Dave has now added “haters” to every conversation. Once upon a time, it was the constant use of: inside of, affords me, show up, who I was meant to be. Now, haters. Most of the said “haters” are providing honest feedback. He blabbers on and on about absolutely nothing. The clear lack of awareness and bountiful arrogance is palpable. The content he provides, on any platform, feels like money-seeking and like getting content. Hard-pass.

    Bonus episode w/Heidi was gold!!
Loved this important conversation! Social media/online is such a big part of our everyday lives and can be both a beautiful + harmful space. We must do better in allowing people to be human. Appreciate you Dave Hollis!

    Observation/Suggestion
The intro of this show states that it’s premise is to talk to people from all walks of life that look different, act different etc. as far as I can tell it’s mostly rich white people in the personal development industry. All the same type, all like Dave. I would suggest change the premise to be more honest OR actually talk to people who are different.

    Now he’s an addiction specialist?
The latest episode is the worst. He went to rehab for eight weeks and now he’s an addiction specialist? This is spectacularly bad behavior and he needs to stop for his own sake and for anyone else with addiction issues. The guest tries feebly to steer him toward more realistic language but in true Dave fashion he steamrolls right over him. Is it narcissism or delusion? SMDH.

    Patio of Pathetic
Anyone looking to Dave for inspiration needs to seek therapy. He actually answered the question as to why people didn’t buy his book… like-ability is over. If someone has so many questions, they are unfit to teach.
  • Fishy22three
So many words with so little content!
Unfortunately, Dave Hollis speaks similarly to how he writes. Extremely long, run-on sentences, that go in so many circles you tend to lose whatever the point was supposed to be.
  • skeeter39
    This is Inappropriate.
Dear Dave, Leave your therapy to professionals and behind closed doors. And please do not use your trauma to promote a freaking book written by someone who is not a licensed therapists. It’s disingenuous when you make such private conversations public on a podcast that is promoting someone’s book.
  • margotnote
    Waste of time
Dave has nothing worth saying, that hasn’t already been said from his ex, Rachel Hollis, who stole her platitudes from other people. He has no charisma, no self-awareness. I don’t know the point of him as a self-help guru other than to feed his massive ego. He lies and fails at everything.
  • JadeB7
    Dave is AWESOME!
Welcome back, Dave!!!! Love your podcasts and miss seeing your posts!
  • Courtney.Jo
    Talking in Circles
Dave talks himself in circles in real time. There is no actual advice here. It’s all just about his success that he masks as a David and Goliath story.
  • Kellycox
    I miss Jon & Dave
What happened to the Jon & Dave show?? I know was a bonus but I loved their trivial banter. It was very light hearted & fun to hear. Hope they’re still friends!
  • Not a happy hour
    Narcissistic
    What a pathetic hypocrite.
  • Caitlin OPry
    Inauthentic
Will tune back in when he reveals the real story about what happened in his marriage with Rachel. Her recent podcasts revealed he was lying about a lot for years, but she was classy enough to not go into details because “it’s his story to tell.” He made tons of money off of selling helpful marriage tips but was lying to his own wife all along. Then, he made himself the victim publicly in the divorce while she stayed silent. He seems so fraudulent for selling this “authentic” story about healthy marriage but clearly deeply contributed to an unhealthy one. Rachel was always the real star of the power couple. I think she will rebuild but he’s still not forthcoming. I guess if he lied to his own wife for years, expecting him to be forthcoming publicly may be unrealistic.

    Horrible self righteous d bag
Got blocked. 👀 how lovely of you.
  • brekky45789
    Outdated?
This type of vague self help talk seems very 2018 to me ?
  • kmia3
    Phony
I too was blocked because his ego was too big to take criticism. I would not take advice from someone who doesn’t practice what he preaches. His life saving $18 book is really just a tone deaf tale of no real ‘courage.’
  • HaleyNall
    Blocked
This guy blocked me on Instagram for telling him what he did to a fellow Christian was not ok. Seriously? Why are you blocking people that don’t agree with everything you do? What a child. He should probably dig a bit deeper into his bible if he wants to continue to give advice and stay relevant.

    Thank you!!!!
I have listened to your podcast for almost 3 years, read your first book, can’t wait to read the second & just wanted to say thank you! Thank you for being transparent, kind, accepting & diverse in the content you share. It has been so helpful in my journey to develop into what I was truly created for & now learning to be comfortable in my own company! Keep up the great work!!!

    Michelle
Thank you so much for your hard work on the Rise Together podcast. I really enjoy listening and the variety of guests you bring on. I feel like I am growing and learning so much. I also appreciate the encouragement and stories I would not have come across otherwise. I have recently made some big life changes that are still being sorted out and I’m grateful for the inspiration your show has provided. Blessing!

    Just what nobody asked for
Nobody: Nobody: Nobody: Dave Hollis: How would you like a privileged wealthy white American male ex-Disney executive to tell you how to be courageous in life?

    Fun Friday treat!
I look forward to Dave and Jon’s Friday show each week. They’re hilarious with their questions. They give quick, honest replies to one another so you never know what’s coming but are always rolling in laughter. It’s great!
  • hollash
    This is just not it.
This screams “talking while not saying anything” to me.
  • Krispylee86
    The worst advise ever
    Hard pass.
  • ShayOh
Word salad with a side of platitudes
Dave Hollis has a podcast I guess to try to fill the time he is not yell-talking to his cell phone on Instagram, but I have no idea what his mission or purpose is other than to remain relevant and promote Dave Hollis. This is self-help garbage at its worst (or finest???).
  • saramarielouise
    So much yelling
So much yelling, so little depth or real content. Great example of “just because you say it louder doesn’t make it right or true or helpful”
  • Regina Wheetie Baker
    On fire
Your podcasts have been amazing lately! Loving the content
  • Hungry.me
    Mansplaining on steroids.
Every episode is a man yelling platitudes his ex-wife already stole from someone else. He’s not a nutritionist, has no formal education in the fields of physical or mental health, yet is very pompous about the information he disperses. When he does have a woman guest, he interrupts and speaks over her. It was embarrassing to listen to.
  • Jon Digital
    Fake Self Help Guru Trash
Dude milked his ex-wife’s terrible advice into his own garbage. Listen to this guy if you want “straight talk” like: - wake up early! - be yourself! - ride the coattails of your wife’s business, force yourself into a C-level position, then divorce her when you figure out an exit strategy!

    One of my favorites
I originally subscribed to this podcast for the relationship tips, which helped my partner and I connect from long-distance. I love how real
