I was originally going to disregard this pod as just another copy-cat of The Mike Check Podcast. But to my surprise Host Matt Stewart had the blessing Cameron James and Alexi. If you’re a fan of apes this podcast is for you!

I can’t say how many of these episodes I’ve gone back and listened to time and time again. Matt always keeps it entertaining and whenever I get a Primemates notification it makes me ecstatic.

I just drove my car unaccompanied from Seattle to San Diego, then back again a week later. I left Prime Mates on the whole time and slowly started to go insane. Thanks for the company Matt, Banana 2, & guests) You all helped me stay awake and entertained. Chimp Ya Later

Been listening to DGO for a while and never came around to Prime Mates until recently- very funny and irreverent as always! Please review Any Which Way You Can; it stars Clint Eastwood and an Orangutan named Clyde! It is as ridiculous as it sounds.

The entire Do Go On network has been a great source for helping me get through some tough times. Thanks all. I don’t want to compliment to heavily and make y’all uncomfortable, so I’ll just say my favorite ape is Gary the Monster from the Adam Sandler classic, Little Nicky. Who doesn’t love ta-tas.

Always glad to see new episodes of Prime Mates, however sporadic they may be. I understand Matt Stewart is a very busy man, but I’m always glad to see him find the time to talk about his true passion: primates (which includes monkeys, gorillas and if Evan is around, Andy from Toy Story).

Matt and company are back in the money house for the revival we have all been waiting for. I can’t describe how happy I was when I saw new episodes of the best podcast on the internet in my feed. Fun and entertaining as always, Matt and guests are my favorite comfort podcast to get me through work. Keep up the great work, cheers!

I was greatly distressed when I noticed my beloved podcast PrimeMates was no longer appearing in my mobile listening device, much to my chagrin. I could not possibly imagine that a podcast about Primates in pop culture and different media could ever run out of topics. Honestly, I was worried about the hosts well being, I just could not understand why they would abruptly stop producing content for what I assume is one of the most listened to podcasts on the World Wide Web. Last week, surprisingly, a new episode was released and I can see why it took so long. Genius does not happen overnight. I tip my hat to you sirs. P.S. Do a Hit-Monkey episode! That show is awesome!

I have a submission for Best Primate: Miguel from Coco He is also a human from a Pixar film, but I’d venture to say a far superior character in every way. This is a great podcast and one of the best of the mini network. A solid bronze metal. By the way; I can’t find Evan’s channel “Jiminy Cricket’s Jamming Jamboree”. Disney probably took it down for copyright infringement.

I run a smoke shop (ya know, bongs and the like) and play this podcast in my shop all the time. You may not be surprised to learn that my specific clientele eats this stuff up. Always enjoyable to hear multiple customers laughing from different parts of the store and share a moment or watching them stop shopping to listen to an argument about chicken salt. Great stuff.

The great guests on each weel make this show worth listening to, and make up for the fact that Matt is the current host. 5 out of 5 slightly green-tipped bananas!

This is a show I never knew I wanted, but now I desperately need. Strange and almost entirely primate-less some weeks, this show continues to be hilarious and captivating for all the best reasons.

This is my favorite fruit based review podcast, but I’ve noticed they often do episodes about monkeys. Not a fan. Unsubscribed.

Matt, Evan, and *insert guest names* have a wonderfully lighthearted take on whatever primate-based media they’ve absorbed this week. From the most ape-packed epics to the most tenuously related films that may just have a picture of a monkey in them, these fruity boys cover them all, and honest to god the occasional fact even makes its way in from time to time. Don’t sleep on this banana-packed pod. And as we say at the end of every review: Once you go chimp, you never go limp.

What is this

Please stop claiming that there is a missing link in primate evolution. That is an unscientific and long-defunct term originally used to refer to gaps in the fossil record, gaps that existed only because very few viable fossils had been discovered in the 1850’s when the term was popularized. The fossil record is much more complete now, and not only is there no missing link, but that term doesn’t even make sense in the context of our nonlinear evolution. The term “missing link” is not perceived by scientists as functional and is generally only promulgated by people with antiscientific bias as an argument against evolution. There is no missing link. Apart from that, you’re doing great.

Prime Mates is a podcast you didn’t know you needed because Matt Stewart didn’t know it would last this long. With hilarious guests, incredible hosts (including Evan Monroe “Gamers Rose Up” Smith) and a slew of primates from a to zed it’s no wonder this pod will soon become your favorite. And since Matt’s probably reading this without stopping, “Daniel you’re a bloody legend and I’m proud of you!”. 7 stars all the way!

Prime Mates together strong!

We all know Silver Surfer is the best Superhero but this primate podcast blasts Silver Surfer, not cool bro 😆

This podcast has nothing to do with prime numbers! It’s just the old curmudgeon from Do Go On supposedly talking about monkeys and apes when he’s not talking about Spider-Man or Toy Story, and he’s got this robot sidekick who thinks humans are the best primate because he doesn’t get the premise of the show he’s on. Also, Nick Maseau is only on a handful of episodes, which is a crime against Australian podcasting. Each episode is a series of unfunny digressions that has nothing to do with anything, and it gives me migraines. And trust me; I’ve listened to them all, twice! Nah, it’s all right. It’s entertaining, I guess.

As a young boy who was born post 9/11 it’s nice to listen to a podcast that has a very post 9/11 feel. Here our good, if not slightly over qualified, host is joined by his “second banana” Amy (the chimp from the hit movie Congo). Our elusive hosts guide us down the path of the primate whole chastising us about the difference between Apes and Monkeys. Without this podcast I feel like the love we used to have in all our hearts for our primate based relatives. This love tends to dwindle as the world gets harder and 9/11 seems more and more post, but Matt has revived this wonder. 3 out of 11 kinda smashed bananas. P.S. I had to take some off because Mat is responsible for this true blooded American’s love for the saints.

Matt and the overrated second banana always put on a delighful show. My favorite episode so far was the David Attenborough one with Ben Russell, Evan barely said a word. Maybe Evan should start a Pod about lenses and leave the Primate discussion to the experts. Love you guys 5 ripe bananas for Matt and guests and 1 brown floppy banana for Evan. Nah he's alright mate. Give the pod a listen!

An hour or so of pure silliness delight. Second banana Evan is a great addition as he helps keep the show somewhat on track and understands the value of humans. I don’t particularly care for primates but it’s nice to hear Matt, Evan, and all their Aussie comedian friends having a good time. And as we always say here in the monkey house, books forever!

Primates, Matt and Evan, host the most appealing primatological podcast out there. If you’re thinking of diving into a fun podcast about primates in popular culture, don’t just monkey see it, monkey do it!

This is a pod for those in need of something to look forward to. My bowler hat goes off to the host and always wonderful guest. Nothing but thanks for the great laughs while I go about my days. I’ll wrap this review up with this notion. Stop take a listen to this room full of the best primates and enjoy what might just be the best spinoff of the century. Wooooo whooooo go saints!
