    Great podcast!
Jenn Lee is our industry whisperer! Loved the episode and all before it. The next generation of TA helps “this” generation by default. Feed on that and thrive. The value train is hot - don’t miss it fellow TAs.

    A TA’s Best Friend!
I find the information shared by Eric, Dan and their guests, to be invaluable. It helps me stay “in-the-know,” with current travel trends and restrictions. Oftentimes I will finish listening to their podcast, and then turn around and do a Live video of my own. My clients love when I do that, and it helps them to know I care about their safety, as well as their continued desires to travel. I couldn’t do that without the knowledge I gain from these guys at Travel Pulse. Keep up the great work!

I’m relatively new listener but have quickly become a fan. A solid travel podcast with great insights and interviews with industry insiders.

Delete your old podcasts on coronavirus
I strongly suggest that you delete your old podcasts on corona virus where you call people hysterical. You sound completely out of touch, insensitive and arrogant

    I want to like this
UPDATE: I’m updating this review as new hosts have taken over the podcast and they’re 100x more professional than Mark. As a Travel Agent, I really want to like this podcast. I love Mark’s stance on using Travel Agents and his advocacy for common sense travel tips. However his attitude of “I’m right and your wrong” just rubs me the wrong way when I’m listening. The most recent episode, regarding Dr. Phil’s episode on the DR, is what made me unsubscribe. I actually agree with Mark that the entire DR “scandal” is blown out of proportion, but to sit there and ask a woman who was assaulted “why didn’t you report?!” And other similar questions falls into victim blaming. It’s true that you can be assaulted anywhere, it is NOT a DR issue, but you have no idea the details or trauma she may have experienced. As an assault survivor myself it just made me sick to my stomach.

To those of you who stopped listening because of vulgarity and unprofessionalism, START LISTENING NOW. The NEW HOSTS are very professional, factual, interesting and they provide valuable content. It is worth listening to and is a now a great travel program.

    Telling it like it is!
I love listening to Marc’s take on the travel world. The first time I heard this guy I was like, “who is this jerk”? But then I got hooked on his real assessments which are spot on. I can’t wait to hear what he is going say next.

Thank you for the no nonsense travel information
As an independent travel agent, I truly appreciate the no nonsense information presented on the travel pulse podcast. You cut through all the BS and fake news, so that we, as agents and consumers, can make more informed decisions. My only criticism is that you often seem to get distracted and go off on tangents. Otherwise, keep up the great work.

Offensive rant about assault is a big turn off
I have listened to a few episodes of this podcast and was hoping to include it in my regular rotation as I am a travel agent. Unfortunately, when listening today I was very turned off by the host ranting on and on about how he could not understand why a victim of assault would not report it. He was also attacking a listener who took issue with his position (I gather he originally brought this up on a prior episode that I haven’t heard). There are many reasons a woman who has been sexually assaulted would not report it. Most don’t, and I suggest that the host educate himself on the many reasons this is so common. In addition, I suggest the podcast stick to travel topics about which the host is an expert, rather than veer into subjects about which he really has no knowledge. Unfortunately, when you rant about things you know nothing about (especially subjects like sexual assault) you can easily offend. I was offended and had to turn off the podcast before he finished. I wouldn’t consider listening again unless he apologizes.

    Not really into podcasts but......
So I’ve listened to several different podcasts and haven’t found any I really like but I keep getting emails under my travel agency for Travel Pulse and I saw where on the last one he mentioned that he cusses and it may offend ppl and he didn’t care...lol so I had to check it out.. and I’ve listened to several so far and I’m impressed and think I finally found a podcast I like. 😁👍🏻

    Telling it like it is
Love this! It’s refreshing to listen to a podcast that tells it like it really is without candy coating anything (ex. We went to the Dominican Republic this year and stayed at the Hard Rock in Punta Cana and it was clean and safe - also stayed in various other cities including Santo Domingo and Macao with no issues) Thanks for the straight talk!

    Straight... No Chaser
I heard Mark Murphy speak at CLIA 360 2019 and I love how he advocates for travel agents. He is straight to the point and does not mind sharing his thoughts and experiences. I have recommended this podcast to other agents and customers. I shared the Podcast about the DR on my social media pages and have had two clients book a trip there... thanks for the support!

    Faithful “Lazy Loser”
I love this podcast! It’s refreshing to hear someone say exactly the same thing that i think when i see certain headlines. I’ve been listening for the last 2 months (had to catch up on all the other episodes) and every time i go leave a review something comes up. Now no more excuses!! Keep doing your thing and unfiltered is best when it comes to shenanigans that the “social media losers” bring to the table
  • MyFavoriteIntern
    Refreshingly Casual
I like that Mark delivers travel news so casually and uses his own personal experiences to back it up. He swears and he makes jokes, and it’s great. If you (understandably) want polished travel news based more on data and official reports, that’s what the TravelPulse website is for. The podcast is meant to both inform and entertain by a guy who clearly has a passion for travel, and Mark delivers on that.

My wife turned me on to ....
My wife, knowing that I enjoy listening to podcasts, recently turned me on to Mark Murphy’s TravelPulse podcast. I like that he speaks to the point and cuts out the BS. I’m always surprised when the podcast ends because time really flies by. Looking forward to listening to many more episodes!

    Dominican Republic
This is the first Podcast of yours that I have listened to and I am now a subscriber! I couldn't have agreed more with you! I and a group of 6 other travel agents were lucky enough to go to Puerto Plata in June for 7 nights on a FAM trip! It was gorgeous! The other agents all made use of their mini bars and they all survived! (I don't drink alcohol often so I just had the water bottles but did sample the Mamajuana on various excursions) Tourism is 80% of the economy in the DR and it makes me so angry that irresponsible "journalism" and social media are hurting that beautiful country and its citizens! I put journalsim in quotes because I don't think we have a true journalism in decades. Journalists used to take pride in the accuracy of their reporting Factual who, what, when, where and how was reported. Why was only mentioned if the why was a known fact, otherwise it was left out or was on the editorial page where you knew it was just one person's opinion of why something happened. Facts don't matter any longer, just sensationalism! I heartily recommend the DR as a travel destination and my youngest daughter and 2 of her friends are going to Punta Cana next week!
  • NikkiG827
    Love the facts!
This podcast is great for actual facts about travel. Mark Murphy is blunt and to the point. The only thing I would change is that he does swear sometimes which prohibits me from listening to it when my kids are in the car. I’m sure that makes me a social media loser! 😉

Good Analysis. I had clients just return alive! Them and more than 2 million survived. In the past few summers we have seen the media do the same with Mexico, Jamaica, and the cruise lines. Can’t wait to see next summers dangerous place!

Only dead fish go with the flow.
While I don’t agree with everything Mark Murphy says, I do appreciate his travel podcasts. They are fun, informative, educational and interesting to listen to. I can relate to Mark’s stories and he tells it like it is. I have been in the travel industry for 28 years and learn new things every day. I prefer a podcast over a scheduled webinar which 9 times out of 10 I can not attend because I get interrupted by something. Thanks for the effort Mark! Hysterical yet Brutally Honest!
Mark, love the Podcast! You never fail to disappoint with your hysterical approach at simply stating the facts. As a travel agent I’ve got news sources hitting me from every direction, but if it’s something I really care about knowing the real story I tune into the Travel Pulse Podcast. Thanks for being such an amazing supporter of travel agents and for not being afraid to upset a few people’s feelings in order to get the truth out there! 👍🏻😎
