    Courtney is insufferable
Updated: It’s time for an overhaul to the ENTIRE panel. // Keep Juan, get rid of the other 2. Courtney comes off as incredibly privileged, entitled and out of touch. I’d bet a million bucks she’s heard that feedback before. I can’t even remember the other guy’s name. And we need at least one progressive voice on this show. Ideally a Black progressive.

    Oh no
I listened for Grace Rauh, I guess I stay to hear the most braindead identity politics imaginable from Juan

Great show for non tv watchers
These guys do a great public service keeping us informed of city issues and what local politicians are thinking. Everyone should have a show like this in their city.

    Keeps me informed
So grateful for this podcast. Even as overwhelming as ranked choice voting seems, I don’t think I’ve ever had this level of staying informed about candidates. I like the balance of reporting and interviews. (PS Also NYC polls are confusing... do you ever cover that? I get what looks like a text poll but have no way to tell if it is legit so I send to spam but yes public safety is up there as top concern)

    Coded language and racial insensitivity
I’m incredibly disappointed in this podcast. It used to be informative and interesting with multiple points of view. However, recently they’ve been speaking about protests against police brutality as though they’re dangerous, they’ve glorified the role of the police, and put blame on protestors and advocates instead of looking at the root of problems. They’ve spoken about forms of protest such as graffiti in coded language. They’ve condoned police intervention in neighborhoods with increased violence instead of looking at the root of the problem- lack of resources including food and employment. They’ve disappointed me tremendously the past few weeks.

    How I start my Fridays.
This podcast tells you everything you need to know about what’s going on in NYC in like 30 mins. Not only is it incredibly useful, but it’s also so fun to listen to.

    Amazing local politics podcast!
Really love this podcast and the hosts. Clear and interesting analysis. Best part is that they really focus on the local angle even to big national stories.

    Love the podcast
As a born and raised Manhattanite living in rural Oregon, listening to your podcast gives me a breath of home.

    Good local content
Grace, Juan, and Josh have great chemistry and the show is often informative and entertaining as well as unnecessarily snarky at times. I appreciate their political analysis even though I think it is incorrect at times. The live episode was really great so I hope that they’ll record another session with an audience.

    Other Questions
The show was very informative and spoke about a lot on the public advocate but did not ask a few questions #1 Why are we voting for a position that has no power, #2 Why is there a position that tells New Yorkers they have no power and #3 Why not make the Public Advocate position an appointed position? Sorry but I never get a response to my question on social media so I am saying it here where I know my questions will at least be seen. Thank you Louis

    Excellent, insightful journalism about NY
I am very grateful for the NY1 news team. Both on television and busses snob this podcast. Who else s going to talk about the subways and pastrami in one show?

    Perfect for millennials!
This is great! I’m not really into political coverage, however I must keep up with it for my job. This is the best podcast to listen to for a recap of political coverage in New York. Keep it up guys!

    Climate podcast from last week
I was really glad to hear you cover the UN climate report . But super disappointed in Zack for expressing doubt about the climate science. Really? You’re looking at a report based on research from thousands of the world’s top climate scientists and you’re still not convinced?? Based on what? Hoping you will continue to track this urgent issue much more closely. The impacts will be huge. How about a program before November 5 on the army corps proposals to protect the city from future storms? Queens listener

    Fun pod on NY politics!
Informative and fun podcast by 3 veteran political reporters. Grace is a delightful & funny host, and they provide a good insight on the NY political scene, while also humanizing themselves with running jokes, such as Grace’s sandwich envy & their little anecdotes at the end. The episodes are a good length, where they keep it relatively short & don’t overstay their welcome. Vote Zephyr Teachout for NY Attorney General on Thursday, 9/13.

    Loved it!
I’m the one who listened the first day while my color was processing.! I look forward to listening every Friday. A perfect activity while on the beach in NJ. I grew up in Brooklyn (Canarsie to be exact) but lived most of my adult life in Texas snd Mississippi). Now on a migration back to NY and NJ and I love keeping up with local NY politics. Really enjoying hearing about Zach’s upper west side relocation!

    Fantastic NY Politics Recap Pod
All three hosts are engaging, smart, but also fun—so basically NY1. I was expecting all seriousness from a politics podcast but they are not afraid of making jokes about the subjects or themselves. Additionally and most importantly, they are incredibly knowledgeable and credible with the ins and outs of NYC and Albany. My one lone ding—I wish it was released on a Monday or Tuesday. I’m not all that jazzed to listen about politics on a Friday going into a relaxing weekend. A second ding—I wish there were two a week. I feel like there is enough meat on the NY politics bone to produce multiple of these per week. I look forward to more episodes. Great job everyone!

    So far, so great!
I am really enjoying this new podcast. I love hearing the different experiences and perspectives on local politics. I wish it were longer.
