🔥hotlanta Gamer🎮Support black podcastI was very intrigued by the thumbnail pic of the podcast that looks like it pays homage to a film I still love & believe is relevant today in Hollywood is the 30 yr plus yr old flick “ Hollywood Shuffle “. I heard a few episodes not more than 10 from movies I’ve already seen & was on their on the film , 2 guys had decent point of views I agree with some topics but the episodes are too long for me , the film review shouldn’t be longer than the move itself but Hey I’m no expert just dropping a review. I wish everyone the best & we gotta continue calling out Hollywood for them White savior plots

evolutionaryistGreat commentaryThis is out of left field, I’ve recently been watching The Jefferson and thought I would enjoy hearing you guys talk about that show and possibly other Black shows of that genre and time. Keep up the good work.

jwfordHad PotentialI love the idea behind this podcast. But just like Black Men Can’t Jump [In Hollywood], the hosts are annoying and rude. Often talking over each other and their guests. I simply can’t bare to listen to it anymore.

Edward ZwickA better version of How Did This Get MadeWhy is this a better version of How Did This Get Made? Because I actually care about the perspectives of Jordan, Cam, and their guest. They break down racist tropes in film, racist creators of movies, and often rate films more favorably than I ever would on their offensiveness scale. This is one of my favorite podcasts.

boyboyboyoyWhite People Indeed Won’t Save You, But This Pod Can Set You FreeBefore this podcast I didn’t think of white saviorism as its own insidious trope within cinema. Jordan and Cameron sparkle as they dismantle some of the most popular films within American culture. The list of movies ranges genres and eras; and the guests they choose add so much to each episode. Each episode is a gem, and ends with the hosts and guests reimagining each film to remove the white saviorism and center the voice of People of Color. If you are looking for a podcast that will make you think, and hip you to movies you might want to avoid, I recommend giving this pod a listen from the beginning.
