    Family
I first saw Jennifer at a Fresh Grounded Faith near me in SC. I was so impressed by the whole event! It was just perfect that I and my friend were there. She is a widow and the other speaker was also. And I was fresh off a huge health issue. I had became paralyzed just months before and Jennifer’s story felt so personal. I felt like weeped the whole time. Plus I’m from Springfield and LOVE CS Lewis. So it was meant to be. After that I jumped on the podcast & I haven’t missed an episode since. You guys feel like my family. When I’m alone at home and needing company I pull up yall. Thank you for being there. For speaking truth and being so real!

Jennifer and KC are the ultimate dynamic duo. Just the right mixture of practical encouragement, laughter, and guest “menu” variety! This podcast captures resources and inspirational humans the world needs to meet. I am inspired spiritually with each listen. Side note: If you ever want to interview me, I would love to share my practices about adopting a “word of the year” — January is right around the corner ;)

Jennifer Knows the Bible & is a Teacher
I learned of Jennifer when my Women's Bible Group did Jennfer's study of Haggai. We got her book & videos. I am impressed and I had to follow her. I know more about God now. Her guests are always interesting. What's not to LOVE about the remarkable, effervescent Jennifer Rothchilds!

    Wow Is She blind?
Although I’ve been to many women’s Bible studies and Christmas teas all my adult life I had never heard of Jennifer (sorry Jen) until I won a ticket to a women’s event by LIFEWAY. My mom had worked for LIFEWAY many years ago. So I knew LIFEWAY was connected with great Christian books and materials so I was happy to attend. Most of the speakers that weekend were new to me. I enjoyed each one. But I had been recently diagnosed with an eye condition…Macular Telangiectasis. We don’t go into total darkness but we lose our central vision and much of the vision we are left with is distorted. It’s hard to adjust and not give in to fear. Jennifer was such an inspiration to me that weekend. I’ve filled her podcasts since then and every episode has been beneficial to my heart and soul. Whether I have an ah-ha moment about one of God’s truths or just get encouraged and share in Jennifer and Casey’s conversations and laughter it has blessed my life. I am so Thankful for the I can ministry of Jen and 4:13.

Can I Learn to Read Scripture Accurately?
Thank you, Jennifer - what an amazing interview with Rebecca McLaughlin! Yes, her accent was delightful to hear, and her spiritual depth & maturity was so refreshing! I wrote down her last comment and I’m going to challenge myself with this thought everyday: “who is Jesus and how does that change my life today?”💕

    Inspiring!
I’ve been listening to the podcast for about a year. Through it I learned about the Psalm 23 bible study. I’ve since done the Missing Pieces bible study with the Bible Study Bistro on facebook. That was so fun- and something to look forward to in these difficult times. The podcast and Psalm 23 bible study got me through the hardest time in my life last year, and your other bible studies continue to inspire and sustain me. Thank you for what you and Casey do, and please keep it up!

    Thank you
I did a Bible study at church that Jennifer co-authored. I absolutely fell in love with her and started listening to the podcast shortly after. My son struggles with severe anxiety and so many mornings are extremely stressful and many are full of tears. However, after listening to the podcast and hearing the laughter and the inspiring words, it helps remind me that I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength each and every day. Thank you for such a gift!

    Jesus Loves Me!
Jennifer's bible study, Psalm 23, completely changed my awareness of God's constant presence. I truly fell in love with my Shepherd as He used her study to show His love for me. Then, I listened to her podcast with Joni and cried happy tears as I heard them both proclaim this Psalm to be a favorite! I know that both ladies will be celebrated in heaven for their earthly work through the grace of Christ who provides all we need!

    Tired But Encouraged
There have been so many of these podcasts that our Heavenly Father has used to bring words of insight, healing, thoughtfulness, or a balm to my soul at that time. I started out the year with my word being patience, and in a Beth Moore study I remembered the other day that patience bows. I lost my Mom suddenly on January 4. She was a believer and 96 years old, but it is so hard to miss her. Especially after 3 1/2 years of taking care of her in our home, but I’m entering this new phase bowing (surrendering) and receiving whatever Jesus has to give me. You have introduced me to so many wonderful authors, and I can’t really say how appreciative I am. Thank you is small but all I have to offer - thank you!

    Timely
4:13/280 on letting go of transactional faith to wrestle intimately with the Lord in trust when I'm grieving something He chose not to do was right on time in my life. My word for 2024 will be “sovereign.” Cindi D @ Shepherd me Lord

    Word of the year
Well this is my second time writing a review… I still haven’t missed an episode of this podcast! For my part-time job, I clean a house every Thursday morning and always look forward to starting this as soon as I begin to work. It has become a staple in my Christian walk and I am SO thankful for all the encouragement and growth it provides. And as I prayed for my word of the year I’ve felt the Holy Spirit bring a simple, and maybe even seemingly cliche’ word to my mind several times. But I can’t deny that it is from Him so I’m going with it! 😆 My word is GROW. Already I have noticed myself having more intentionality in different ways because that word is in the back of my head. It’s so cool! It’s amazing how intimate, gentle, and loving the Holy Spirit is with us. I will continually be listening to Jennifer and Casey weekly as I GROW this year!! 👏🏻

You are my Soul Sister Jen!🫶🏼
Jen, thank you for your heart for the Lord. I had the opportunity to hear you at a Fresh Grounded Faith in Plant City, FL quite some years ago and loved your message back then but only more recently got in on your podcasts and social media where I basically “stalk” you now and just soak up the love and encouragement your heart pours out with each fresh cup of regular!☕️🥰♥️🙏🏼 I love the 4:13 podcast and your life verse. My 5-year-old daughter even listens in with me sometimes. I admit I have referenced you more than once as my “spirit animal” (if you were a cute little fluffy bunny or something lol) but no, seriously, you are my soul sister. God bless you as you continue serving Jesus Christ. We can’t wait to see you in September😉!
  • TLC4six
    This one hits home!
I am one that tries to take control WAY to often. Although I have patience in many things, waiting on the Lord is sometimes very different. Great podcast! Thank you!

Y’all, this is an exceptionally good podcast.
I began listening to this podcast just a couple of days ago after hearing Jennifer Rothschild’s part of the Bible study: When You Pray. She spoke in Lament. The study is great and her part was exceptional. I listen to the podcast as I go on my walks and it has brought so many calming thoughts to my mind after heartache from my mother’s passing 6 months ago. I’m so thankful Jennifer, KC and all of these wonderful people are allowing Jesus to be seen through them. Philippians 4:13 was the verse I used to get through each class in Nursing school. I’m so glad I found this and will share with others.

    So encouraging!
Thank you so much! This next year has some challenges in it. I finished one of Jennifer’s small group studies recently and the Lord really used it to help me see some new things. I was so excited when I found the 4:13 podcast and realized I had enough episodes to catch up on that I would have company and encouragement throughout this challenging year. Thank you!

    Not understanding
I have tried and tried to listen to a podcast but whenever I hit play it says the episode is unavailable. Can someone give me advice on how to fix the problem? I absolutely love Jennifer Rothschild and would love to listen but I can’t

Hey there, thank you for FGF and for this podcast. I appreciate that your messages are uplifting, funny, sometimes deal with some hard issues and are based on Biblical truths. I have attended FGF twice, most recently last Fall in Downingtown, PA. However the first time I attended was at Ogletown Baptist Church in Newark, DE in maybe 2012. My husband and I had just moved to the DC area from Newark, DE due to his job transfer. I left my Kindergarten teaching job, my friends and my just about grown children and was having difficulty adjusting. A friend invited me to come back to Newark for your conference. Your theme was “It may not be well with my circumstances but it is well with my soul”. That really spoke to me and it still does today. Thank you for your ministry:)
