    Inspiration Motivation for all levels
Rebecca knows what questions to ask to help you get to the heart of your goals and sift through the rubble that has you hesitating on which way to move forward. She’s patient and generous with her time and advice, which BTW, serves you well no matter your skill level or experience. All that stuff you see written under her bio/description? Ditto that (esp. the mindset shift which was a tremendous help.)

Invaluable resource for freelance writers and other entrepreneurs
I stumbled on this podcast as the pandemic was about two months in. As a freelancer, I worried about how the shutdown would hurt my business. This podcast - gave me and continues to give me - the tools to question my approach and tactics. Applying those lessons not only kept me afloat but helped me thrive. Rebecca’s no nonsense clear-headed encouragement is a gift to any creative self-employed professional. Brava!

    So helpful!
I listen to Rebecca’s podcast at the beginning of my writing day, as I am getting my calendar done, my emails checked… all the little details. I always have a notebook next to me where I scribble ideas and “to dos” and this podcast ALWAYS has me scribbling. Her last ep has me doing a quick, five min. adjustment to my email signatures. Easy peasy. Great stuff here!

    Packed full of useful info
I downloaded a bunch of writing-focused podcasts and Rebecca’s immediately caught my attention over the others, mainly because she was so good at weaving a story with marketing her own programs. I haven’t listened to every episode yet, but every one I have listened to, I’ve come away from with new ideas about writing and my business as a freelance editor.

    A unique approach
Rebecca provides wonderful tools and strategies to enhance freelance businesses. But what I appreciate most is her unique ability to also address the underlying struggles of being creative and earning money, all on our own. She can relate to our struggles, but also gently pushes us to shift our thinking so we don’t get in our own way. Her expertise both as a writer and coach have been such a gift.

I signed up for Rebeccas Bootcamp before I started listening to the podcasts. Now I’m three weeks into her bootcamp and have listened to almost every episode. It’s a great supplement to all the pitching I’m doing and I am feeling more confident every day. Her mindset episodes have been especially helpful. Rebecca is the real deal!

    Accessible high-value content
I love this podcast. Rebecca is relatable and provides really high-value information, particularly for freelance writers who are generalists and/or work internationally. She also offers a lot of encouragement for people who struggle with imposter syndrome and confidence. The format is great, too. I enjoy a chatty, convserational podcast for pleasure. But when it comes to freelancing, I like to get down to business and keep it short, sweet, and to the point! Rebecca does this. Finally, she is also super personable and actually legit cares about other freelancers' success. I did a 20-minute call with Rebecca and am considering hiring her as a coach, based on the value she's already provided through her podcast and our mini-coaching session.

Glass of Ice Water on a Hot Day
I just finished what felt like labor and delivery of an article for a publication I’ve been writing for on a very part time basis for a year. Less then 30 days away from leaving my “good paying job” to pursue the freelance writing life-this article was unusually excruciating and mixed with what I suspect is a lil anxiety about the future. I hopped on to find a podcast I could listen to for inspiration, insight, or a sign to rescind my resignation and I found this. The first episode I listened to was like that first sip of ice water on a hot day. I can feel it cooling everything off! Exactly what I need as a new freelancer- informative, insightful, and encouraging. I highly recommend.

The journalism advice and inspiration I was missing!
I stumbled upon The Writing Coach Podcast in early January as I was trying to brainstorm writing goals for the New Year. I’d just had two pitches rejected; my positive outlook for pitching in 2019 was dwindling. Enter Rebecca L. Weber. I tuned into an episode about pitching and was instantly met with the reminders I needed to get back on the horse and pitch again. So I did. With Rebecca’s motivation and actionable tips, I landed four travel articles within the span of two weeks! If you’re a freelance journalist, you absolutely need this podcast. It’s a mix of tried-and-true tips to help you achieve your writing goals along with much-needed motivation and inspiration to help you remain confident in the competitive world of journalism.

    Great motivation for freelance writers
I've been listening to this podcast first thing in the morning on days when I don't have an obvious schedule to keep, and it is a perfect way to get inspired and start a productive day. Covering everything from pitching to boosting income to goalsetting, episodes are short, practical, interesting, and delivered in a friendly style. Especially useful ones for me: Wrapping up 2018 with a list of wins, $$ and challenges + the fascinating interview with travel writer Sarah Khan.

    Writing Coach Rebecca
I’m just beginning my journey into writing for an outside, hopefully paying, audience. I have the skills, but I’m lacking the confidence and drive to get started. As Rebecca describes “The Model” her voice is pleasing to listen to. Her system seems like a way for me to change the thoughts I have about my circumstances and ultimately results in me writing for publication.

I love listening to writing podcasts and was happy to see this one pop up.
