Divorce - and beyond! I wish I found it sooner
This content goes well beyond the process of getting a divorce and is invaluable for navigating the legal and personal aspects of child custody issues. I’ve binged about 2 dozen of these podcast episodes in the last week or so, and they’ve been incredibly eye-opening. In short, Tammy has wisdom that she has gained through personal experience, field-specific knowledge and expertise, and dedication to personal growth and understanding human psychology and behavior. I also think the format of the episodes are genius and she is eloquent and thoughtful in the content. She is the right mixture of tough love and compassion. I wish I found this content sooner.

    Sanity saver!
You’re no nonsense approach of the Family Court system has been a sanity saver for me! I personally have never had to go through divorce or custody I have been the support person first for my sister an ex fiancé and my current partner. I found you when our daughter was three months old and his ex-wife filed false allegations causing the courts to restrict his access to his three boys. This was an emotionally traumatic roller coaster and the combination of Thomas and Tammy‘s insights helped me be the best support for my partner as he walked a very tough road. If only every couple who had a child would seek out the information in this podcast before ever trying to file paperwork against the parent of their child. Anytime I have a friend or family member going through some thing I send them your podcast! A topic search can give a vast array of tools! Tammy I’m so struck by what you’ve gone through, the sister I co-parented with passed away in 2020, she was also an organ donor. We were not spouses, obviously but we did raise children together and were best friends. You are in my prayers as you walk out this new season of life!

Wish I had started listening months ago
Tammy and Thomas have seen it all and they have the long-view perspective that most people who are deep in grief and suffering will struggle to access. Not everything they say applies to every situation, but I strongly believe everyone can get something useful, maybe even life-changing, from this podcast. And it’s cheaper than your therapist or lawyer!

    Biggest help ever, LOVE them
I have been in a very difficult divorce for 8 months now and of all the resources I’ve grown to rely upon, Thomas and Tammy are the best. The combination of their experience and insight covers all aspects, from legal to emotional to just level-headed sound advice. Thomas & Tammy have also gone through the painful experience of broken marriages (with kids) themselves, and nothing brings greater compassion than that. In fact, it is both the compassion and professional experience together that make their podcasts so helpful. Ive learned soooo much. I also look forward to the new ones on Tuesday. Most of all, Thomas and Tammy are really good people.....they have the best of intentions in their desire to help others (divorce is so devastating) and you just can’t acquire all that is needed from your attorney or well-meaning friends. I hope that everyone going through divorce finds this podcast. It will make the biggest difference. Thank you Thomas and Tammy for all that you do.

    Okay
This podcast is useful if you’re dealing with an ex that can be reasonable and logical. However, it doesn’t address situations when you have an ex who is totally unwilling to compromise in any situation and does everything they can to sabotage your relationship with your kids including bad mouthing you to them, controlling if and when they can talk to you when you are not with them, blocking attempts of getting your kids into therapy, basically parental alienation and emotional abuse. It would be really helpful to hear how you get the courts to recognize parental alienation is going on or that your ex is emotionally abusing the kids.

    A must listen!!
Highly informative and relevant info from a seasoned family law lawyer and his wife. Both coming from contentious divorces before meeting each other they have personal knowledge on the process, feelings, custody, and so much more. It’s basically having a lawyer for free. Absolutely incredible. Thank you for putting your time and care into this.
