Rhea Wong's 'Nonprofit Low Down' podcast is an absolute gem in the world of nonprofit discussions. I had the pleasure of being featured in episode #241, where we delved into the captivating realm of nonboring events, and it was an absolute blast. Rhea's style is nothing short of masterful. Her tone is warm, inviting, and engaging, creating an atmosphere that feels like a genuine conversation among friends. What truly sets her apart is her incredible skill in the art of asking questions. During my time on the show, her expertise in navigating conversations was evident. Rhea effortlessly steered the discussion, allowing for organic exchanges while keeping the momentum alive. Nonprofit Lowdown
Doesn’t matter if you’re starting out or you’ve done nonprofit development and fundraising — or anything in the nonprofit world operations-wise, really. This is a great podcast to listen to. Rhea Wong brings smarts, fun, and most important, accessibility to the conversations about what drives healthy and sustainable nonprofit work. I listen often, not just to learn new things, but to also reconsider what I know — also, sheer laughs.

Staying Creative and Contemporary in the world of fundraising
Get Your Money Honey was what caught my eye. Being a student of nonprofit fundraising I’d read, listened, and attended meetings, webinars, networking groups and a variety of podcasts. I continually heard the same message which was great - tried and true practices are a valuable tool. I continued seeking with an eye to finding ways to set my nonprofit apart, surely development has to evolve just like everything else in the world. Thanks to algorithms I was lead to Rhea Wong and her amazing guests and their diverse, innovative exciting philosophies. I regularly listen and share as I onboard staff into our development dept. our fundraising is taking off, the staff is engaged we are empowered with a greater tool belt that incorporates tried, true and NEW.

Overflowing with valuable insight and actionable tips for any impact-driven professional!
The Nonprofit Lowdown is packed with valuable insights and helpful tips. I really love that the guests are ever day experts as opposed to professional speakers. They always seem to share relatable struggles and offer actionable advice. Rhea Wong has found the perfect balance between letting the guest lead with their topic and facilitating the conversation. You can tell that she does a lot of leg work on the back end to prep for the show and ensure every episode is different and loaded with valuable information. I find myself hitting pause to make a note so often that I’ve stopped listening to this podcast while driving. It’s that good!
